Hi Guys,
I received a Ballistic case today and I think it will be a stop-gap until I find something better. But nonetheless I figured I'd share (since I don't see a post) that the Otterbox Commuter is available for the G2 according to their website. Since this is my first post I cannot post a link, so just look at their site.
Of course, it does not fit Verizon.

They probably won't make a special one for Verizon; they only made a commuter for the Sprint LGOG.
Nice to see the international TMO and ATT G2s getting some love from Otterbox.
I was excited to see they were making the commuter for the G2. As a long time commuter case buyer, I've always also loved the enclosed screen protector. It was always easy to apply and silky smooth to the touch.

I have tracked a few UPC codes to other sites, and no one has one in stock but do have pre order and I can only hope that they are going to come out with one.
I wonder how the Defender would compare to the already available Ballistic case. I appreciate the protection that the Ballistic provides it is just a little to much bulk for me. The commuter looks like it would strike a nice balance, wish it was available on Verizon.

Hi,
Anyone know thin case like Incipio Feather for Nexus 7?
It looks like tpu, but hard material, not gel kind.
Something like this:
http://www.incipio.com/Samsung-Gala...-Nexus-feather-Ultralight-Hard-Shell-Case.asp
I dont really like tpu, nor metal, nor folio shape.
Thanks
The only thing I would suggest would be the poetic element (I think that's what it's called). There's a review for it a few posts up

All defenders come with one built in. Wouldn't think it would interfere, but just do like I do and pull the protector out. It's just glued in so you can just push it out. I hate screen protectors.

Cardboard and yes it works. The sensors change depending on the S Pen proximity. OG note could do this trick to btw. Samy found out it was reliable and made the hover feature from it. So throw 6 protectors on. Still works.

No problem! The Commuter is a great case. I've had one on my 3D since I got it the day after launch and along w/ my screen protector it's done a great job for me. It doesn't have the built-in screen protector that the Defender has, but that case is too bulky for me.

Corcor, do you have a screen protector on yours? I got the obliq and it actually fits perfect, I was concerned that some cases may peel the protector off on edges.
I was worried about the orange showing but I saw one in store it is not that bad actually. The case feels soft but I believe it still provides protection.
Did you ever drop your phone with this case on? I am planning to return Diztronic case and get this instead (yeah, 4 times the cost, but it seems like a good one, although I cannot find a single review of anyone owning this for G2)
