So I've been struggling to find out the best and cleanest way to get the HTC 4.3 update. For the moment I'm on a unlocked (S-ON) One with CWM recovery and stock 2.24.401.8 Sense WWE ROM with current CID being HTC__032.
I've been thinking of getting the developer edition 4.3 version but I'm wondering what's the best way to do it:
- find a modded 3.22.1540.1 Developer Edition ROM that is bone stock with no "optimizations". Can you guys recommend any?
- get S-OFF go to SuperCID and flash the 3.22.1540.1 RUU. Can this be done?
- wait for the update to be pushed to WWE phones.
What would you choose?
I'm running ARHD 22.
Mike1986 usually has a completely stock version floating around too. Check the Dev section.

There is no sense 6 firmware released yes (only custom roms). 4.4.2 is the latest with Sense 5.5. Please just search for it...there are many threads that have all the RUU files and even htcdev.com has them too.
Hi everyone. I have enjoyed different custom ROM's for my HTC ONE M7 GSM and I wanted to switch to a stock ROM that allow's OTA updates straight from HTC. Is this even possible???
Currently have Android Revolution HD Sense, S-OFF.
Thank you in advance.

I have a Sprint HTC One M8 and I am thinking about converting it into a Sprint HTC One M8 GPE. My only question is can I use the Sense RUU (off the HTC developer website) to restore it back to stock. The reason I ask this is will the Stock RUU still work with the GPE bootloader and recovery?
It's not possible to convert a Sprint M8 to GPE.

Why won't a GPE conversion work? Couldn't I do the GPE conversion then flash the Sprint GPE ROM?

Well if you start converting things...such as running the GPE RUU or flashing GPE firmware, if you are lucky it will give you and error and won't flash, if you are unlucky it will most likely give you a brick.
Neither of the 2 GPE roms linked in this thread are Sprint roms, they were made to work on Sprint by @digitalhigh and @Captain_Throwback.
The closest you will get to the GPE experience is to flash one of those roms.

All Sprint GPE roms are custom, flash them like regular custom roms.
