Okay guys. Sorry if someone have already ask this before... But I couldn't found it. Its there is any list with which xperia z1 you should get for each company? I was thinking about moving to Verizon but I had read that any of the z1 will support their signal. I also saw at&t and T-Mobile. Which one you all recommend? And the signal of this phone is good? I read about WiFi problems and connectivity problems in General. I have a sprint galaxy s3 on sprint and I am done with their signal and I am kind of tired of their design and touchwizz (or how ever you spell it) even if I run a custom ROM here.

Maybe rewriting your question would help
I am not from the US but I really do not understand what you are trying to ask about.
Why don't you just speak to your carrier and see what they say about which is best for you......
Sorry if I misunderstand your situation but I cant get my head around your question

Not a dumb question at all, and you're right, there isn't much out there...
I WAS gonna' link to the few that were available, but it looks like a TON of development threads have been moved and/or deleted... strange...
This is from my post on UltimateDroid, not sure how useful they are now, though...
Here are the ROM/Kernal links from XDA:

This guy seems to be doind the most work for us CDMA Tab owners:

There's a DEV working on a HC port (don't know if it will be carrier specific) and he seems to have the most thorough work so far, but I can't find that freakin' thread either... Server issues must be worse than expected...
Thank you for your reply

You can use a T-Mobile SIM in the N700, but you will, only get EDGE speeds. I have T-Mobile and my SIM worked but I so frustrated with EDGE that I bought a Red Pocket SIM for the times I wasn't around WiFi...

I really understand you would want it seeing as no other comes even close, but blame idiotic us carriers for each having their own ****ty standard. I'm glad Europe has more sense.

It most certainly does work on T-Mobile...but you are only capable of speeds no greater than 150-200kbps...at best. So 3-4 times the speed of dial-up = slow, slow, slow...
I am not having a go, but don't you think it might be better to pout the actual question in the title? I make a point of ignoring threads without an indication of the actual subject. I am sure I am not alone.
Before a smart alec asks why I opened this one, it was to make this statement!
Would they put something out with so many issues from the get go??

LTE is a non-issue as this isn't a device sold with LTE support.
The sensors is from flashing the radio/baseband onto 4.2.1 builds. People will have to deal with it, or flash up to 4.2.2
These are not "problems" from Google as they are people causing it to themselves.

From stock software and hardware left in from a sister device. It is not supported by Google and as such is a non-issue.
For sensors flash this http://www.mediafire.com/?079z7ky9nomb9i8 it fixed it

LTE wasn't approved by the FCC. Therefore, it wasn't mentioned as a feature of the phone.
The reason we could enable LTE was due to an oversight by LG or Google.
This update patches that oversight.
The phone is not suppose to carry LTE in first place. The fact that it works for some people whose carriers are on band 4 is bonus.
And issues, well those come with almost all phones. No point in defending any phone for things like this, but sadly things like this is part of almost any purchase of any thing. Forum like XDA is to get help, so you will get threads here about the problems. You will get far fewer threads which are there to praise the phone on daily basis. If you go to any device section here on XDA, you will get similar threads with issues some of the purchasers face. Those people are here to discuss those. THat sometimes paints the picture that phone is riddled with issues that everyone will face. It is hardly the case.
But if you still want to see enthusiastic threads, go checkout Indian nexus 4 thread That will show you cheerful side of things
Every hardware usually has some weak points, and hardware does break down. With the sheer number of devices sold, there will always be few that break down or are faulty. And you will find large number of those people finding their way here in search of solution. Relax, it is same with almost every phone.

There was a backdoor to get LTE if your provider had LTE on the AWS bands, the N4 was not approved or licensed to be used as an LTE device, it was just a matter of time before Google attempted to disable it. As for the other issues, it's incompatibilities between the new 4.2.2 stuff and 4.2.1 custom ROMs, this is why it's a bad idea to mix and match things like this, they aren't Google issues, all this stuff works just fine on stock 4.2.2 except LTE but that's not supposed to work.
If I understand correctly the radio issues happens only when you flash then on 4.2.1 correct? Then that's your problem, flash the full 4.2.2 and then if it's an issue that's a problem. Anyway I'm on paranoid android 4.2.2 and see no issues.
Sent from my Nexus 4 using Tapatalk 2
Oh okay that clears a lot of things up then.
For some reason I thought people were already on 4.2.2 and having the issues didn't know they were still on 4.2.1 trying to flash the radio.
Sent from my Nexus 4 using xda app-developers app
I have a feeling the biggest reason they pushed this 4.2.2 update was to take care of the lte so there wasn't any big lawsuit ...
But then again they really didn't because people can just revert to the baseband before...lol

Wait. So you personally haven't updated and haven't experienced any issues and yet you started a complaint thread?
Seriously?
Reported.

There is many ways to become less frustrated than creating a new thread.
I'm trying to bypass at&t block on tethering apps in order to use my plan with my tablet as well. I rooted my phone, but every app i downloaded appears to be blocked from accessing my phone connection by at&t (they charge separately for that "honor").
Any suggestion?
Thanks
Ivan

Both posts found in the AT&T One Development forum. Both on first page and one thread apart. Seems to me like you didn't really bother looking or using the search function. Took me less than two minutes to find the threads and post this reply.
Most others will tell you to search on your own, so you might want to get familiar with using the forum and it's capabilities.

Sorry guys, but after searching I got pretty confused because there's mix answers. I know out of the box H+ and LTE is not compatible. However, I read something about flashing other models baseband and such to activate the required bands. Sounds questionable, but I'm about to get it soon, I just want a direct answer.
TIA
