possible to lose SIM Lock? - Xperia SP Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I'm about to flash .254 using flashtool, and I was just wondering, is it possible to lose SIM unlock if I do

No...sim unlock is not related to rom

Sim Unlock Question - Bell Vibrant

Sorry for the dumb question but once the handset is unlocked with an unlock code, is it permanent? Will flashing new firmware relock it?
Thanks.

Yes, phone unlock is permanent (unless you relock it).
Note: phone unlock != sim unlock

It says
To install this ROM you will need to have an unlocked bootloader
You have unlocked bootloader you do not have a locked bootloader as this device does not have a locked bootloader for you to unlock.

(Q) how to check BOOTLOADER

Hey guys
I just want to ask you something about xperia sp because im going to buy this tomorrow (excited)
Guys how can i check the xperia sp if it BOOTLOADER LOCK or UNLOCKED?
and what is the advantage between LOCK and UNLOCKED BOOTLOADER ?

Type this into dialer *#*#7378423#*#* go to service menu/configuration
If it says boot loader allowed YES you can unlock which will let you use custom kernels.
If it says boot loader allowed NO
then you can't unlock which means no custom kernels which may also mean custom ROMs maybe limited.

Root, tell him to use Backup-TA to save his DRM keys, and then he can unlock the bootloader

Best way to sim unlock.

I would like to know the best way to SIM unlock the Xperia Z. Can i just flash an unbranded Stock Rom?
Thanks for your help!

The only way is with an unlock code, either from your provider or purchased from a third party.
Flashing an unbranded rom will not affect the SIM lock status in any way.
