Title says it all. I don't like the upside down rotation. Just my opinion. Anyway, I'm on stock with goodies 2.03, and it has the mod enabled. I'm just wondering if there is an app or flashable zip that I can use to get rid of it.

In my G1's old age it now thinks that the keyboard is open at all times. I guess the contact with the spring is broken or something. Anyway, I was wondering if there is a way to enable automatic rotation even with the keyboard "open" so I'm not stuck in landscape all the time. I'm running CM 5.0.7 and have 360 degree rotation enabled but it obviously doesn't work because of the hardware malfunction. Anyone know of a way to override this?
Hello,
I've recently installed the stock ics rom by tonyp and harsh and I'm loving every bit of it, however when the auto rotate option is enabled, it rotates 360 degrees. How do I restrict it to rotating only in 0, 90 and 270 degrees? (couldn't find an option in the settings)
Whether I go into settings - display - wallpaper,
or
quickpic - select photo - set as lock screen
Neither of these modes 'take' and it just sticks with the same lock screen I've always had.
I wonder if I'm supposed to be performing another step, or whether my phone is just buggered?
Running Ripper ROM v10 and JKay Deluxe14.9.3
Does anyone else have this issue?
Fixed it.
You have to use the Stock Gallery app, so I had to clear defaults in application manager first (I was using Quickpic) and then it worked using Gallery.

I think most mod roms removed the default wallpapers and some apk that support using it to make the rom light, but have options to install them if you needed it or use gallery pictures
I'm coming from a Nexus 5 running SlimRom where the first thing I did with every flash was to disable the ability to rotate 270 degrees. This is a useful rotation angle on a tablet, but I find it extremely irritating on a phone because every time I take the phone out of my left pocket and look at it at an angle, the screen rotates. I have been looking for a while now and I haven't found anything that will let me pick only the rotation angles I want--does anyone know of an Xposed module or an app that will accomplish this? Thanks in advance

Not sure if there's a module to do what you're asking or not, but I always just lock my rotation with the quick settings toggle until I actually want it to rotate.
What do you mean with 270°?
90°left? Or a 180°?
In any case is not possible out of the box you have tu use xposed and a module like gravitybox or gelxposed.
270° is rotating the phone clockwise into landscape. I know it isn't possible out of the box, but gravitybox doesn't have any settings to fix it and I don't use google launcher, so gel doesn't help me.
I don't want to toggle auto-rotate because I use the rotation feature a lot, just only in the 90° position
Bump, I really need help with this if anyone has any additional suggestions. Thanks
I've been running Nougat since the previews and I recently dirty flashed the non-preview image onto my N6. No problems, except my screen rotates upside down. I've noticed this since the previews, but thought it was just a preview thing. Now that the official image is out, I still have the same problem. I'd like to have portrait, landscape and reverse landscape (if that's even a thing) to be enabled at reverse portrait to be disabled.
1 : Is it because I dirty flashed it? Does everyone else have the same problem as I do when they did a clean wipe?
2 : Can this behavior be modified WITHOUT a 3rd party app? (eg: Build prop edit)
Thank you.
"Reverse" portrait isn't normal, as far as I can see. I'm running a debloated stock ROM right now due to AOSP having problems with Google Now, and that ROM rotates in every way except upside down. Some ROMs such as Cyanogenmod do have it as an option however.
Clean flash your ROM. If that doesn't resolve the issue, unless there is an app which can halt rotation in one direction, you'll probably have to find a custom ROM that can disable rotation in that one direction.
Might have luck checking into settings --> Display -->Rotation---> Uncheck 180 degrees
