Im using stock ics because after upgrading JB i experience random reboot.
Also because launcher is heavy and low free-ram, phone has home delay so often.
Thus i decided to choose light and smooth rom over stock or stock based.
Please recommand nice rom
Thx.
Sorry for english

Try them out for yourself and see which ones you like. It's a personal preference so no one can give you a correct answer except yourself

My answer would be: Stock but radically stripped of anything unneeded.
So what did you finally do?

Hi guys,
I am new here and need your opinion.
Which rom and kernel are the best for GNote..for battery life?
Sent from my GT-N7000 using xda premium
For my opinion its a little bit early for custom rom and kernel.New phone so new stuff for the devs and a lot of tests for them.
I tried some custom rom but for now im on latest root stock, deleting lot of uselles apps, ics animation and battery% (you can find in theme's thread) and everything is fine for me.
We all must be patience...
Yeah..
Tnx man.

Using Rocket Rom v8

Ok so what im asking for isnt to be told to try this rom or that rom cos ive tried them all.
So heres what ive tried so far pandorium rom which had the perfect look that I was after jb domination theme ! But ive had to many problems with it ie signal strength and loss and apps acting like ive just installed them and having to keep setting them up.
So im currently running a stock rom that has been pre rooted and deodexed as I need stability as im a heavy user getting through 1 and a half batterys a day.
So I think the best thing is to just theme a stock rom to look like pure Google look but still have a solid rom right?
So how and which theme will work?
Im not really bothered about system tweaks and this that and the other just a solid good looking rom!
So if anyone can suggest a rom and a theme that will match it please speak up?!

Pandoriam or Ripper ROM are both very reliable, stable ROMs. I think you just had a bad install by the sounds of it. I've used both and have never had issues.
Couple that with JB Domination theme and you have the look you're after.

Was wondering if there were any easy to install tweaks for the xperia T jellybean os, that I can flash with cwm
That would allow me to customize many appearence features on statusbar, and threw out the phone? Would need something that will work on a locked bootloader! Maybe even recomendations on a feature packed custom ROM that uses a stock kernal? Thanks.

No
There are no tweak packs, there is a slight custom ROM, stock based so works on locked bootloaders, XperimenT, its in the android development section, its ICS based, a JB version is being worked on
Thanks! Im using Xperiment beta 2. I love how fast the phone runs, and how good my battery is! I just dont see anything different other than the boot screen . Maybe because its a beta?

Yeah it's because it's a beta and the dev wants to get it stable before he adds customizations, also they don't work from ICS so new ways are needed to get it working. Patience

Fair enough! I might flash the xperimenT ics stable then, quick question tho.. Can I not keep the jb xperimenT backup on my phone, and then swap roms as needed via cwm restore? Would be fairly cool. On the same note, minus the odd crash here and there, the experimenT jb beta is just incredible performance wise.

You may have issues as to swap versions, JB and ICS, a lot of the time you need format sd card, you'll also need to make sure the correct kernel is in place and that you flash the correct cwm+reboot fix, so it is a pain bit doable

Hi all,
I've been a big supporter of the stock ROM ever since I got my Note with 4.0.4 (pre-facelift). Then there came to UX facelift (still 4.0.4), which added some lag. Recently I updated my phone to 4.1.2. Transition animations, launching of apps, etc became so laggy that it's hardly bearable (for me at least).
Now I'm wondering what are some of you guys' suggestions on custom ROM? I want to stick with a really fast TW ROM or AOSP ROM. I've looked into CM10, but it has issues with video recording, which I use often. Does anyone know of a ROM that is at least ICS and majorly stable and fast? Would anyone suggest CM9?
Thanks a lot!!

Looks like Alliance is a popular one. Since it's based on TW's JB, how smooth is it compared to the stock tw 4.1.2 (LM5 specifically)?
I would also like some inputs on CM9? Thanks!
Best ROM threads always turn into Pissing Matches. Best thing you can do is go to Dev section and read a few OPs. Pick a few that you like and read the last 10 pages or so for bugs. Narrow it down to one you want and start reading.

Hello.
I've got lots of problems with my Cyanogenmod, and I feel like I need to change it to some other ROM. CM10 is working very slow, even with no apps on it, and CM9 just stops working well after some time (low memory notification shows up = in a few days it just kills every app all the time, doesn't start after reboot).
And there's my question - what is the best ROM for Samsung Galaxy S i9000 for me? I don't need newest features, I require smooth working and stable system.
Thanks for the help

slimrom 4.2.2
Saurom is the Best Ever
I've killed Gamerzrom after 2 hours, but after second installing it works fine I've got less apps installed now and I think that I'll stay with this ROM. Only negative side is the launcher, I'd like prefer to have clean system

I have tried most rom, this rom is fastest you can see that from comment also.
About launcher you can install the launcher you want. Also if you want the stock theme just delete the morph folder from rom zip before flashing
Just be sure that you read the flashing instruction to have rom without prob.
