Much needed
The calculator app is the first I searched but no, not yet at least.
It's much needed to expand the usage of the watch.
Got to have the calculator, it helps a lot when shopping.
Questions, does the S pen work on the gear watch for the dialer or going through menus and screens like in the Note 3?

Thx, Fat Finger Calculator is great!
In development
I'm in the process of developing a simple calculator for the Galaxy Gear. I just need to figure out how to put it on the Samsung App store.

Or you can post the apk here in the meantime.

Good idea, since its going to take over a week to have it published on Samsung Apps store...
I just realised I forgot to add a 'clear' function so once I've added that in, ill release the apk here.
how to side load the apps once rooted?
Wondershare MobileGo for Android is easy and what i use to sideload.
Calculator for Gear
I've made a calculator app specifically for the Galaxy Gear.
This is my first ever released application for Android so if you find any bugs, have suggestions, etc, please let me know as I would love to improve it.
Meanwhile as I wait for Samsung Store to approve it, here is the APK for v1.0.
I know its a calculator but have you got a screenshot plz .....good work
Press thx if i help you

and Here is the link for the Vending.apk but watch that even the windows says "overwrite file system" this creates another Market app, so maybe we need to erase the other market.
Gonna bring more info!

Looks Sweet!!! Thanks for the heads up. I want to play around on this market now lol.
Tried it, really didn't like it. If you want to uninstall it just go to manage applications and uninstall the update.
This is just the phone Market, not the tablet Market. This was not meant to run on tablets, hence the menu button in the bottom left.

GOOOD Call...tossed it on my xoom...Hated it...put it on my Thunderbolt and love it. Looks great on the phone, but looks too confusing to operate on the xoom...
It looks cool im gonna install on my next rom flash
Looks decent, but not meant for tablets.
Once you figure out to navigate through the new market you'll start to appreciate the aesthetics of the new market. It's simply more lively and dynamic than the old market.
PS...don't forget about the option of swiping left and right in each category
are there any free note/word document program on android market? if yes, what are their name? the reason i'm asking it, the existing note program on samsung sux. it only holds up to 1500/characters per document. thx in advance.
I highly recommend Evernote their tablet interface is really nice, you can sync notes between devices, save images, audio and rich text notes. The downside is that you have to register to their site and the free account has a transfer limit of 60MB/month.
But so far, I've really liked it and been using it extensively in my phone and tablet.

If you are like me, and like to be able to jot down something in handwritten text, I recommend Quill. Either buy on Play Store or download the same version from Google Code for free at this address:

ok i got the file: Asus_Supernote_v_1.4.apk
is that it? once i download that file to my pc, what am i supposed to do with it? thx in advance.
Put it on your tab.
On tab,
change settings "install from other sources than Google market" = true
Use a file explorer, find the apk. Click to open, will install
Or Google the subject "sideload apk"
Here you go guys. This in my opinion is the best program to lock apps with the fingerprint. I've been using it for about a week now and it's been solid. The UI is very clean as well as the operations. And it's made for Samsung devices. Works great on the Note 4.

on/off widget does not work on note 4 so far...
I didn't even know this program had a widget lol. Doesn't matter as you don't need to use the widget for anything. This is as simple and convenient as you get.
Can this app hide the icons of the protected apps? I need something to hide the icons all together and only have them appear once I enter my fingerprint.
That would certainly be a neat feature. I think the closest we can get is to remove the icon from the drawer through twiz or nova.

What a great app! Thanks for the suggestion
Verizon N4 : Thank me if I helped ya
I tried that app, then quickly uninstalled after finding out that locked apps will still show a full thumbnail in the recent apps list... that kind of defeats the purpose of privacy.

Other from that, why does this take up like 130mb of ram? lol by far the highest in my running apps list!
Mines showing this. With Google inbox taking up like 150mb. That damn nhl app lol.
And if you greenify the app , it will be crippled.

I am going to give it a go but as this app should hide protected apps from launcher and recent apps too.

Yes. That is for sure a deal breaker. Now we have to disable the switching apps button. Which as far as I know is not doable.

Suggestions are welcome!
Took a look as I was curious as to what happened in my local area around the last weekend. Hallowen is always a good time to be looking at pictures of a location; so many great costumes, etc.
However...
Installed the app. No settings changed. Press the search box, type in "Mannhe", get Mannheim, Germany as an option, press it, and the whole app crashes.
I am running an unrooted Galaxy Note 4.
Like the concept of the app, and it's a simple enough and clean interface... I just can't actually use it.

No problem! Feel free to send me a PM once you have updated it and I'll give it another try.

The app is out of the Beta test, thanks everyone for reports.
Hi there.
I would like to run native apple app store apps on my Note 9.
I hear you can do that with emulators like Cider and Iemu.
I have installed Cider but there is no app store. It looks like just an Apple skin that runs Android apps.
I could note install iemu. Installed Aio Downloader and a search of apps on Aio keeps on saying that iemu is not available.
Has anyone using Note 9 been able to get Iemu to work?
Any guidance from you would be much appreciated.
