I am sure they are on here somewhere. I have been searching for 20 minutes now. I am looking for the newest stock kernel for my htc one.
3.4.10-gcfc57d3 is the one I am looking for. Can anyone point me in the right direction, all I can find is all the modded kernels. Thanks.
The firmware contains the boot.img, find the right firmware and extract it from the zip.
A stock backup will also contain it.

Thanks, can I just flash this boot.img with twrp or should I zip it and flash? I found the file in the root of the rom, just wondering the proper way to flash it. Thanks.

fastboot flash boot boot.img
Are you sure you just need the boot.img?
I flashed bulletproof kernel and want to put it back to stock kernal. Will that take care of it for me?

Yes. Just pull it from the rom.zip you flashed and use fastboot to flash it.

Why would you need that actually, it's the biggest downgrade you can get.

Maybe hes going to give it to his warranty.. so he wants it as it was before
I want it because i dont want flash with odin (mess imei) if i want my warranty back.
ODIN does in no way mess up our IMEI
There is always change to mess imei with odin. My odin stucks every 9/10 times to flashing system img. So reverting back to stock with nandroid backup and cwm flashable stock recorvery image would be definetly faster and safer.
Odin has nothing to do with your IMEI.. (/efs folder)

+1.And if you want your waranty back you can flash a stock rom via Odin ....(i think)
hmm. I have heard peoples losing imei's after odin flash. I would be happy if someone could make cwm flashable stock recorvery because my odin stucks so often.
and btw.... for which stock ROM? I made one a while back. This was for XXKPU I think. But should work with every stock ROM I guess.

I guess he wants a cwm recovery zip to flash from stock recovery?...(english is getting harder and harder theese days)
Even if he puts stock recovery back, he still needs ODIN to flash a stock ROM for warranty

Nope. A CWM flashable file that restores the stock recovery. And that's exactly what I attached.

Flashing that zip does not effect anything.
Also tried with mounted system data
But now it does. Didn't add the line to extract the actual image to flash Had better days I guess
Now it works perfect. THanks
Hi,
can you give an example how to convert an stock image to an image flashable by clockworkmod. My problem is, that my USB port is brocken, therefore i canĀ“t use Odin. Mobile Odin seems not to support repartion - is this a problem - is repartion needed for stock images ?
So what can i do with an active clockworkmod to install an stock I9000XXJVR_SWC.zip ?
Thanks
Gkarg

1. root your phone
2. search (cocafe kernel) in developers section. search is your friend or just click the link in my signature,
No you do not need to downgrade.
Which version of Cocore?

I've downloaded the Cocore 6.8 kernel. It is a zip file.
Now my question is Wetherby to flash the zip file or the md5 file in it. There are also other files in the zip . And as I said I'm gonna use "universal kernel flash tool" which is mentioned in the Cocore thread.
Thanks!

you only need the md5 file then. read the instructions on the universal flasher thread and that should help.

Someone would have to pull it from the tar file and make a zip so you could flash it. But, the stock kernel contains no root..........
want to downgrade but cant find a zip of the kitkat bootloader or nk4 kernal
You can't flash the bootloader through recovery, at least not the last time I checked. The bootloader has to be flased through odin but Odin doesn't flash bootloaders, modems, etc.. We're you possibly referring to the boot.img? If so, that's a kernel.

You can grab a kernal from nearly any KitKat firmware. Download a stock rom to get a stock kernal or a custom rom for a custom kernal. Extract the rom using winrar, winzip, 7zip, or your favorite unzipping utility and you should find a "boot.img" in the root of the extracted folder. Flash the boot.img in Odin in the third slot down (i think it is labelled "PDA"). You can't use the second slot (kernal) because that slot will only allow "md5" files and the boot.img has no md5 in it. I hope this helps because I couldn't find anything KitKat related on my PC, sorry. Good luck and let us know if you have any more questions or problems, okay?
EDIT: I didn't realize when I posted this but Trex888 uploaded it for you in the post before this one (third link) has your boot.img in the download. Grab that one

I haven't find the way to downgrade the stock bootloader, but if you want to flash older stock rom, you can un-Tar the stock .tar.md5 file using 7-zip or anything equivalent, delete the .bin files in it, Tar it again (keep the format .tar), then flash it with odin

Will try later. Thank you. My bootloader is RH3 I suspect it is the reason why older lineage roms doesn't successfully flash.
