Anyone who know how to create ftf file from OTA update, please pm me, i'll do something for us!

As far as I know it's only possible to make an FTF from the update files of pccompanion.

You can only convert to FTF from blob files I think, maybe you can share the downloaded update zip (if there is one)

Where to find update.zip, this update is of one member on my forum, now he's busy but will pm me in a few hour, if you have any ideas please tell me, I can tell him do something :highfive:

I dont know the default location, maybe root of sdcard or internal not sure.. I've never accepted ota updates so idk

Now, I'll update more screenshot, anyone want anymore please pm me now!

This is probably a development version though.
Can I contact him though somewhere? I can give him access to EMMA to check his customization and make an ftf.

[Request] Collected Files/Tools-topic for Xperia V - LT25i

As this is forum is shared between several devices, I think it would be a good idea to create a topic for the Xperia V where we may collect all kinds of files and tools that are available for the Xperia V. As it is kernels and FlashTool-addons are too widespread throughout this forum to be of any good use.
The Xperia V is quite a new device, and it would be a really good idea to create his thread asap, as more and more users are coming here, and also there are not (as yet) all that many files to collect thus far...
Either we create a topic where we link to the various files/resources, or the creators of these files makes a a new topic for their file, and then just make a short post in the tools/files-thread to keep it updated and current. There is probably some kind of "best practice" throughout the XDA-community for this...
I for one would find it truly useful!

Have you seen the all in one thread in the Q&A section. It had the only ftf files and ROM's and kernels which are available for the V already linked

Yes, but I would also want to see other files, such as FlashTools files and such (ad the V is not recognized by FlashTool in v. 0.9.9.0)
Even if the AIO thread is probably a good place to start, but I wonder why FTF-files and such are posted in the General section instead of Development...

mabe you could split up all in one thread in T and V sections, would be more clear what to find where

It's not really a great idea no and there have been many requests to separate forums with suggestions from Xperia users has to how the Xperia forums should be but still we wait.

I read it but I wanted a confirm because I had bad surprises in other roms. I want to test roms with stock kernel, then it's up to me to flash custom kernel or not.

why is it cm10 4.1.2?

because many of applications from sony does not work as expected on cm10.1.But working on a version for cm10.1

CM10 > CM10.1 so I'd say stick to CM10, just my opinion. Why? More smooth and better battery life on CM10

It doesn't work.
Edit: removed previous App through Titanium, added these files, set permission, rebooted, now it works.

Now that the @maverick1990 can post in this forum, @SREEPRAJAY can click on the triangular "report post" button and request transfer of first post to maverick1990. Should make things a lot easier for both of you without one having to work on the rom and the other updating the OP

[Q] Grid size with stock launcher

Is there a way to change the grid size of the stock launcher? (with or without root)
I really like this launcher, so I don't really want to switch to Nova or equivalent.
I searched a lot but find nothing interesting.

But there is a modified stock Sony launcher in the general android section that can do this. Just do am xda search for it.

Funny people.
CM11 builts for T and V were made long time ago and there are new nightly releases posted daily. Also, CM10, all versions, releases haven't been updated fom months, cause they reached stable status. You would have known that if you had gone to Cyamogenmod site.
So, I'm not sure what you plan to accomplish with this thread, to drag developer from one type of devices to a different ones because he will be much more respected.
And also, when did Xperias P, S, U, L Sola become legacy devices?

U mean they are not updating 4.2.2,and 4.3 any more.I was talking about that builds. Not 4.1,and s became almost legacy device.we only have 2 or 3 pro dev.not more than that.
