Hello there.
Recently istalled custom Froyobread in my Xperia X8, and after that i installed GingerDX. That means that now I have GingerDX. The situation is that I am trying to change the vibration option (Settings --> Sound --> Vibrate) from "Only in Silent mode" to "Always" but it changes back to "Only in Silent mode" at no reason. I've also noticed that while i receive an sms it does NOT vibrate in any occasion. Is there already a solution or the developers working on that?
Thanks in advance, sorry for my english.
If you come from other versions of Android to Gingerbread, this may cause bugs. So you must full wipe and install the ROM again.Remember to backup your things.

You mean if i come from OLDER version of Gingerbread to Gingerbread? Well, i did all kind of wipes the first time, including Full wipe and battery statistics wipe. Is there an easier way? The situation is that i've already installed a lot of apps that I need and it will take me a lot of time to install them again, except if you know a way to install the apps again at no time.
No,for example from Eclair, or Froyo, you must full wipe. And I don't think there is any other way to restore apps quickly. Not 100% sure, suggestions, people?

For vibration in messages and to calls go to Messages -> Settings -> Notification Settings and there you can see Vibrate settings section , just check the vibration , the vibrate pattern and vibration in call. Also check the 'vibrate always' from Sound section in Settings.

As I said in the first post, this is what I do, but when I exit to the main screen and return to Settings-->Sound-->Vibrate at the same time, I see that it has changed by itself to "Only in Silent Mode". It changes by itself, this is the problem.
Hello xda users,
I think i know a method to solve the problem with "Invert" display on SXTX
Story:
Around 2-3 months ago when i bought my SXTX i started to flashing the phone with various ROMs till i tried the Sony Xperia T Rom on TX... i did smtg wrong and my phone's screen got invert 360 degree.
I tried to find a way to solve the problem, read the russian and english forums but nothing helped me. The phone was brand new with warranty so my last chance was the service center, thats why i accurately flashed back my phoe to all stock then send to market where i bought and i was lucky because they said that the phone is "Brack" therefore they send me a new phone!
After a long time, today im flashed my phone, root, cwm... then installed Xposed framework and i think i find a way to solve the previous problem with "Invert display".
How:
- You have SXTX!
1.You need to root the phone (SuperSU)... i know its a bit hard cause everything is invert but its possible (i did this a lot of times)
2. Install Xposed framework.
3. Go to Xposed framework, press Framework then install update. You need to get this:
4. Press reboot
5.Go again to Xposed, press Download and find "Gravity Box (JB)". Download it and install, then go back to main many of Xposed and press Modules and check the "Gravity Box", then go to Framework and reboot.
6. You have GravityBox. Start it from appdrawer and press "Display tweaks" and as you can see there is an option called "Allow all rotation" - check it!
7. The last step to rotate your phone in your hand to 360 degree!!! (Normal position)
I need testers! Hope there is no one!!!
My phone now have no this problem, no invert display so i cant test it, but im sure that it will work!!!
I can not test because I have a working Xperia T, but I doubt it would work.
The allow all rotations option allow the rotation to 180 degree (bloked by default). If your tx screen was inverted it looks like a gravity sensor problem.

no it is not sensor problem.... and i have fully working normal TX.... this problem ocure only on TX models...
This method allow all rotations.... if you test it on you phone you will get not just side rotation but upside down to.... i tried it today and i can use the phone upside down
Yes I know. I was trying to say exactly that (sorry for my poor english)
I thought the initial problem was a sensor problem. Whereas thank you for the information.

Well done~I have heard of another way:
1.Flash any CM ROM
2.Add this line to build.prop
Code:
ro.sf.hwrotation=180
3.Reboot and see if it works...

Yeah, i know this method! But for this you need to Unlock the bootloader... and this working only with CM ROMs, if you do this it is not mean that if you flash back the stock Sony ROM it will be good, but it still be invert!
Good method, but need UB so waranty gone! and only CM using!

Yes it's only fit for CM.But if I met the problem,I'd choose CM11 because there is no warranty with my phone My phone is normal now and running OmniROM 4.4...

L.S.,
Since i have a broken back-button i have remapped my buttons in such a way that my original volume_up-button functions as menu-button,
and my original menu-button as the back button. I've done this by changing the keyvalues in /system/usr/keylayout/generic.kl.
The problem is, i've flashed a new rom so i had to do it again but now it doesn't work anymore.
The changed values are persistent but my phone ignores it, it seems..
And yes, of course i've rebooted after setting those changes
Anyone having an idea? Any help will be greatly appreciated.

You did not tell us what ROM do you use. And what was the previous one? See with developer of that ROM you are using, can he help you about it.
Hello,
Try to use GravityBox Xposed module along with Xposed Framework

Thanks for your reaction.
I have a galaxy s advance, which had the 4.1.2 JB stock rom before, and is now running maclaw's cyanogenmod 11 4.4.4 kitkat. I've already asked there, but there's no forum only comments.

Thanks for your tip, this xposed stuff is simply awesome. But..
I've installed the module along with the framework, but i can't find out how to change the buttons.
I can let them perform a custom action when i double tap or long press the button, but i can't change the standard action.
Am i doing something wrong or am i missing something?
Thanks
I've 10.2.2 stable and want to switch to global beta. Any quick tutorial? Thanks
Take backup
Download the bèta rom on xiaomi page (global of you now have global stable)
On the phone :Go to settings- about device - system update - 3 dots on the top right - pick update - > follow steps
This will wipe user data!
If the pick update is not visible in the system update menu, you need to press the 10 Until it popup
The names from the menu's can be a bit different, I use my phone in dutch

If you haven't the 3 dots, press so many times on the 0 of the big 10 until you see the dots
