Hdmi out help

I bought a cable off ebay but after i plugged it in nothing would display i tried changing the res manually in settings but for each one it said tv doesn't support this resolution.

Never mind i didn't push the cable in far enough to the phone.

Congrats on figuring out what the problem was. Hopefully any future problems will be as simple as this one heh.

Glad u got it sorted.. I had a look to see if their were any TVs not compatible.. turns out there isn't lol.. its a universal standard just like scart or dnla so u should always check both ports for dust etc.. now we know thanks to you

Works fine with mine.Have the Nokia DT-900 and the Ballistic Shell Gel.

Just got my ballistic yesterday, had my Nokia 901 charging plate since last week.
Both work just fine together.

I have LG original big plate charger. So the other chargers work on this?

Yeah, that charger is junk! I bought a couple when the HTC DNA first came out because that's all that was available, and they barely work without a case on.
Get one of the Nokia wireless chargers, you will be much happier. I've had a couple for over a year and never had a problem charging through the thickest cases on the DNA or G2.

OTG cable for Nexus 7

I am trying to find a working OTG cable for my Nexus 7 2013. If anybody knows of one please provide a link to Amazon. I am planning to hook up a ps3 controller to it.

Hey do you have that rooted? I have the 1st Gen Nexus 7 16gb wifi, & I was wondering is that all u need to get that setup? & is the OTG cable the same for yours as it is for mine?

You need an OTG which are cheap on amazon. You don't need to be rooted. If u are planning on a ps3 controller you need to have another cable that came with the ps3.

Thanks, actually I just did a quick search for myself so I would know exactly which one to get & which one not to get! Apparently there's a few pages about the OTG cable in regard to basically what you want to know as well as me! I seen ppl saying not to get the $2 cheap ass Chinese one.

MHL to HDMI adapter

Has anyone found an MHL to HDMI adapter that works for the G2? I have the D801, I've looked on Amazon with no luck. Hoping my fellow xda'rs can help me out. I would love to watch movies on my big screen using my show box app.

I bought one in dx and only work for 2 minutes, better go for a dongle with miracast, an ezcast for example.
