In a similar fashion to the Surface RT, I believe.
I like this watch a lot. But I like a lot of first gen, poorly received consumer electronics.
What fashion was that? They didn't sell out of surface RTs, did they? .

Yes, Microsoft "sells out" of the Surfaces. Microsoft did the same things with Zunes.

exactly! This is unacceptable. T-Mobile should honor all of the purchases. I wouldn't mind waiting a month if I came to me at the 209.99 promo price. I placed my order tonight using some new promo for 30pct off, Card has been charged and order confirmed. I hope I get mine!
Unless Samsung only manufactured a limited amount of these things and carriers will not be replenishing their stocks. On the launch day of the Note 3, the store I went to only had two. I was not looking to get one anyway because I have heard mixed reviews but if they pursue a second generation version of the watch maybe this time they will get it right.

When you get to the payment breakdown screen, look at the top right and there are 2 tabs, you will be on the "monthly payments" tab (I think), just switch that over to the "one payment" tab.
I bought mine over the phone since I was having issues with my address on the website and the rep confirmed that if you pick over night shipping you will get it by Monday night (3/30) the latest.
have to get ready for work soon. the site keeps crashing. :-/. this sucks

hey everyone, it looks like AT&T is shipping the galaxy s6 4 days ahead of their official shipping date. I got mine shipped today and estimated delivery is on Tuesday! Hopefully most other AT&T devices shipped today as well. Also, this is my first Samsung phone since the galaxy s2. I want to know somethings I need to look out for in this new phone, regarding software, the locked boot loader on AT&T models etc.

Because we monitor progress on the device in hopes that a means of rooting will be found. That way we know what is going on in the community and are aware of existing issues so we can hit the ground running rather than posting a million noob questions (thus minimizing the number of 'google that, noob' posts clogging well developed threads).

How much space is available once it has been setup?
I left it at home with smart switch running, and this is the final result.

Just called tmo and was able to get a $50 credit due to the price drop and having bought the gs6 in the last 30 days. Give them a call if you recently picked up the phone before the price drop. Good luck.

That's not exactly true... I've received $200 in TMO credit, $100 in Visa gift cards, three new phones, due to all the crediting, and four years of Netflix. Not to mention a 128GB device when I originally bought a 64GB one. You just need to be polite and they'll do anything for you. If one representative says no, hang up and call again.
Yes, I did adopt early. Preordered and had it delivered the very next day, on Friday.
I did not get netflix it was online only. I chose to get it at a store and no I did not get $100 Visa card or and upgrade to 128gb. Because I got mine full price the wee it came out. I even tried the $50 rebate for memorial day and was declined. I personally did not get one single promotional offer.

You should have tried the Netflix promo because it worked for any s6 within a time frame. They said it was only for pre-orders but it worked for both my phones I bought in store.

Samsungs had a website that you gave your imei and mac adress to verify your had a activated s6. After verification they emailed a Netflix code that put over a hundred dollar credit to your account.

Well to be fair it was supposed to be only for pre-orders and they got a insert with the promo info. It just happened to work with non pre-ordered phones. I think it was worded like the first 50,000 pre orders get the Netflix promo.

I bought my S6 on release day in a T-Mobile store. I got the Netflix deal with no problem. My wife upgraded from the Note 4 to the S6 Edge about 2 weeks before the price drop ? I called and they took $100 from the overall EIP. I'm cool with that!

i was rejected for the $50 memorial day gift as it wasnt in their time frame for purchase on top of that people who got the phone a month later got the 64gb s6 for the price of 32 gb
so overall we were fools to get this phone on the first week
i wrote a letter to the customer relations @ Tmobile and they responded in a week saying the do understand the situation but cannot change the terms in the promotion , however they still went ahead and gave me a $50 credit on my bill

Some of you might have been fools for buying within the first week but I can tell you right now I was not. I knew I was not going to get the best price and miss out on alot of deals by buying the first week, I just wanted the phone and didn't want to wait.

Are you really upset because you paid top dollar and bought it the very week it came out? Are you new to buying -anything-? That's how EVERYTHING works. when something new and shiny comes out it's expensive as crap, after the initial few weeks it slowly starts dropping in price until its outdated and massively cheap or not even on the market anymore. How is someone having to explain this to you?

I would -LOVE- for you to break down how all this occurred in a step by step format so others could benefit from your way of handling their customer service in the future if you'd be so kind please. Due to various issues with Tmobile screwing me over and me finally figuring it out (related to their "warranty" that doesnt warranty -anything-) and ongoing issues within my account, I was given a MASSIVE discount on the S6, 2 free phones and 200 dollars credit, but again that was mostly due to me realizing theyve been screwing me over for a -long- while, then not giving in until they evened the score properly. (Also got the netflix promo, but that was unrelated to their compensation)

The netflix promotion was available for any and all S6/Edges during the promo timeframe, I got mine in-store the day it came out and was able to use the online promo for netflix without issue

I'm all for trying to get freebies and do it myself regularly, but if you are -honestly- upset that you got "screwed" over because you didn't get a cheaper price or special goodies on an initial release purchase, you're just being silly. that's how EVERYTHING works. the early adopters get the highest price and often buggy product in return for being "The first of the first". how does anyone not get that? It happens with quite literally everything, with technology being a leader in example.
Go to tmobile website and put gear vr in search box and click on gear vr option and order it for 99.99. They did not even advertise that it was available for order. I just ordered mine. I'm thinking first come first serve hopefully, it's sold out everywhere else and tmobile told everyone that they wasn't taking orders till November 27 so order asap.

Thanks for your response, actually last night seemed all my UPS Status went from nothing (literally UPS site said the tracking number wasent in their system) to being on truck ready for shipment today. I cant stop looking for the truck! LOL

I picked next day overnight because the lady offered it for free, so why not? LOL.
Then, the next day (sat) I made a follow up, and for the inconvenience, they gave me a $30. credit!
On top of that, I complained to Best Buy last week because when I went to the store to get more information on the unit, none of the Samsung reps knew anything about it, or would make any effort to look into it in the computer. 3 different reps gave me 3 different "possible" dates.... I say "Possible" because they didn't want to bother looking at the computer. All I wanted to do was place an order in store if possible because I prefer to have my CC scanned in person and not have the number sent off to cyberspace.... all they had to do was take my money and they didn't want to, so I said screw it and called corporate and complained (took 5 minutes) and they sent me a $25. gift card LOL. So, essentially this thing will cost me about $45. in the end.
Mine is still being processed as well, now it's back available for ordering when it said out of stock last night...this tells me there system is screwing up so we may not have anything shipping anytime soon ...chatting now with tmobile specialist...will fill u guys in

I did online chat with T-Mobile earlier today, and they assured me I should have it in 24-48 hours, but I am still feeling skeptical. When I look at T-Mobile's website it is still showing as out of stock for me.

They just keep telling me I should receive it by the end of the week (i.e 2-4 business days)...but since I ordered it on Saturday, you would think it would have shipped yesterday. That leads me to believe T-Mobile F'd this one up.
Wish I did one day shipping now...maybe it would have helped...but Samsung USA online store said they will be shipping back orders on 30th...I have one with them too...so if both come I will sell one for double on eBay

Just got off the phone with T-Mobile. They sadly just confirmed that it is backordered with no anticipated ship date. What a crock.
The girl said they can get shipments on Tuesdays and Thursdays, but that really doesn't help at all.
What a bunch of BS.

Download the Shop Samsung app in the Samsung store and hit the Promotions link on the left side menu. From the Note 8 of course.

Kind of unrelated but when I went to that Samsung app it showed an option to purchase a s8 plus for 11.99 total price. I tried to do it but then it popped up to 899. Luckily I took a screen shot, wonder if I can press this and get a second phone for $12 ?

I registered for the camera gift yesterday evening. It shipped this evening and I should have it on Monday per FedEx tracking, woot!
You need to do it from your Note 8 even though the web site says you can do it via the web. It would just link me to the Samsung app. Once I opened that it recognized my Note 8 and asked me the basic questions and then I made my choice. I took a picture of the receipt and within an hour I got the "Congratulations" email. They are supposed to ship around 9/25 based on what the Samsung app said.

How is it that some of these people online posting on YouTube are showing they got a large box with both the charger and the memory card all at once with the phone? I didn't have that option?

If you order direct from Samsung everything comes together. If you order from a carrier, you have to send in documentation before they ship the gifts to you.
Got it registered, hopefully I get the 256gb card as well!

You can check the current status of your promotion fulfillment in the app as well. It looks like the date's been pushed out to the week of 10/2 now, at least for me.

Note sure what to say. I could understand that if Samsung was shipping early and the free items came with it but I don't believe Samsung is shipping yet. The only carrier I know for sure has shipped is VZW and since this is a an offer direct from Samsung, not sure how anyone in the US would have received their gifts yet.

People that ordered directly from Samsung started receiving their phones yesterday. Sprint Customers on Wednesday. I know T-Mobile has provided shipping information but I don't know that anyone has received theirs yet.
Registered for the wireless charger and SD card this morning. Accepted and shipping 10/9 but hopefully sooner

I'm with Sprint and got mine Tuesday around noon. Went to Best buy for a case and they had to go in the back to bring them out, so I got a case and screen protector. The girl who sold me them looked all "butt-hurt" because her Note8 wasn't coming till Wednesday or Thursday. Ordered my 360 camera and it was processed and shipped on Thursday, should be here Saturday or Monday. And I got $200 off the phone too! Battery life is AMAZING and the Gearvr that shipped with the S8+ works great too...phone stays cool and zero lag
