4.3 boots into rom, not for long and no recovery - Sprint HTC One (M7)

4.3, latest firmware, s-off.
I am running Elegancia™ 17.0.0 | Sprint Support | Sense 5 | HUB-hEQS-OTA | 3.22 | JB4.3 |
Phone running awesome for days until I got brave/stupid and tried to install bulletproof kernel over in international. Now no recovery, only goes to bootloader screen after i choose recovery. wont go to recovery from boot loader either. I can boot into rom for a minute or two, just short of time to copy a backup from phone onto pc then it reboots to bootlaoder again.
Anyways, what would one suggest for the fastest fix? Ruu to 1.29? can I ruu to 4.3 ir a custom rom
Thanks

fastboot flash a recovery then re-flash the rom

Just flashed philz and good to go.
Seen your reply when I came to reply FIXED.
Thanks bigdaddy

flash kernel fails

hello to everyone,
today i tried to flash a new custom kernel, first the elementalx an then the teamseven kernel.
both kernel work with aroma installer.
the problam is when i finish to chack all chackbox and get to the finel step and push start, the phone rebooted to android and doesn't flash the kernel.
i have 801n device, run arhd 22.0, s-on with 1.54 hboot (of course unlocked bl) HTC__203, pn0710000, i tried both cwm and twrp both simple and touch but nouthing work for me.
please give me some help with this situation.
Can i get some help please?
I can also say that i tried not to use the tkuch screen in aroma but it doesnt help
Try to reflash the recovery, do an erase cache from fastboot and re-try.
Is unchecked fastboot in settings -> alimentation

This seems to be happening quite frequently these days.
Anywho, try reflashing the ROM (dirty without wipe, so not to loose data & settings), and then while still in recovery try flashing the kernel immediately after.

[SOLVED] Bootloader Bootlopp soft brick on Viper 5.8.0 and other ROMS

Solved here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=51693017&postcount=14
I have this setup so far:
S-OFF Hboot 1.56 through Firewater.
Firmware 4.06.651.4
Unlocked bootloader, TWRP 2.7 and older versions I tried, as well as PhilzTouch (this one works better)
I can only recover from the brick by installing a rooted odex STOCK 4.06.651.4 ROM through PhilzTouch which let's me OTG, ADB sideload, and fastboot (TWRP only lets me adb sideload, but can't mount OTG or /data sometimes)
I think I need to install the stock ROM with a stock recovery in order to do it properly. Haven't tried yet, scared to mess up more.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Anyway, I started off clean, unlocked bootlader, rooted , and flashed custom recovery with TWRP (root sometimes lost, have to flash SuperSU.zip manually sometimes).
Then I got S-OFF through Firewater.
Checked, and double checked MD5 matches, a good quality USB cable 2.0, different formatted clean PC and laptop to rule any of that out..
With a clean/nice ADB/fastboot connection, I proceeded to install ViperOne 5.8.0 | 4.19.401.11 | Android 4.4.2 Sense 5.5 through TWRP as per instructed in its official post (it redirects here from the HTC One Sprint thread)
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2334294
It installs fine until the last Finish option to reboot into the first ROM boot up, and it never gets inside, it just bootloops the bootloader forever.
--------------------------------
Possible thought I still don't understand:
In the Viper ROM there seems to be a firmware version in the tittle: 4.19.401.11...
Does that version have anything to do with mine? Currently 4.06.651.4, with an annoying update prommpt to 4.06.651.9 that downloads, bu never installs (possibly need stock recovery for that)
Is Any ROM firmware specific in order to install? I read that the latest TWRP had issues so I tried many older version to no avail...
Do I need to go back to an earlier firmware, and then update to the latest with the radio as well?
What am I doing wrong?
I would suggest running the 4.06.651.4 RUU and starting fresh. I know it sucks but...
From there you can take the OTA if you want to...then you will be current.
Then you can unlock and flash recovery again.

Cant boot my m7 after Android Revolution flashing..

Hello Everyone.
Some days ago I tried to flash newest android revolution ROM to get Sense 6 on my phone.
After the flashing my phone stucks on boot HTC logo and I thought that ROM could have been flashed incorrectly and wanted to flash It once again.
I noticed that I cant go to the recovery ( It shows "enetering recovery" and restarts the phone) so I tried to flash other recovery with newest CWM or newest TWRP - i tried with few versions of recovery with no result... shows "entering recovery" and restarts the phone.
Is there any way to back my m7 to life?
My fastboot is tampered and unlicked if it is any help.
I would appreciate any help.

[Q] Stuck on boot with Insert Coin 7.0.7 (unlocked bootloader + twrp + s-on)

HTC Butterfly S (901s) (HTC_622)
Unlocked bootloader S-ON
Hboot 1.57.000
TWRP - 2.8.5.0
Hello. Would somebody be so kind to help me with my case? I've read a lot of topics and googled even more, but still no luck :crying:
I had unlocked my bootloader and made a full wipe of everything I could). Installed [UNOFFICIAL][RECOVERY] TeamWin Recovery Project 2.8.5.0, flashed InsertCoin 7.0.7 for Butterfly S from their official site via aroma and after successful it stucked on boot or just boots into bootloader. I've tried fastboot erase recovery (failed "not permitted"), fastboot erase cache, flashing boot image one more time, installing [5.0.2] GP's Kernel v1.2.5 and still nothing.
While trying everything I can, I managed to wipe stock rom completly, so now I cant boot to use adb, I can operate only through fastboot.
I really looking forward to any advice from the community((
May be I am using a wrong recovery or I need to flash another HBOOT? Or I even do not know...
If S-ON, need to flash boot.img again.
You can find it in the zip file.
Try it.

maybe a bad download of the rom? did you try to download it again?
Solved!
So, I managed to solve this. May be someone could use my steps to solve similar problem.
After I had failed to boot IC 7.0.7 I decided to try to S-OFF my device and tried it with rumrunner method, but it failed on 8th bottle, nevertheless I've installed Falter kernel because RR method had a conflict with my stock kernel. After that I tried to install IC 7.0.7 again and installed boot from the zip through TWRP, not from adb and it finally booted.
After that I've installed new 1.25 kernel and now everything works flawless.
Thanks everybody, who tried to help me! + karma))

When to flash new boot.img?

so.. simple question but I'm not sure of the answer..
I unlocked my boot loader and flashed my HTC with cyanogenmod and the relevant boot.img that came with it. now I've reinstalled back to android revolution and the sense os to be able to properly back up my contacts and photos without requiring HTC sync manager...however when I went back to android revolution Rom.. I didn't 're flash my boot.img..
when is it actually necessary to flash a new boot.img when changing roms?
also.. could anyone clarify for me... I'm currently s-on so boot.img can only be flashed through fastboot correct?
and if I was s-off.. when I install a custom rom it'll auto install the boot.img yes?
thanks
Owen

/boot isn't protected on the M7 so you don't have to flash the boot.img after flashing a rom, its flashed at the same time the rom is flashed from recovery. Won't hurt if you flash it again but its not necessary. If you want to manually flash the boot.img you can do it from fastboot or from twrp recovery. There is an option from twrp to flash .img files to your /boot or /recovery partitions. So yes you can flash boot and recovery from recovery. In both cases, S-OFF isn't required, unlike other HTC phones.
