I tried to port it a month ago but after all the file copy-pasting the CM kernel needs to be modified somehow but i don't know how
Fedevd told me that.

Ask to cocafe for kernel or Diego CH and create a new team? :/ sorry for bad english
Sent from my GT-I9070 using xda premium

They're busy with CM10.1 (TeamCanjica) and CoCafe es busy with CoCore ):
Fedevd was the only one working for MIUI but his SGSA is broken ):

if 4 finish, too it wouldn't be bad

Success in ROOTING GT-S5830i

I recently bought GT-S5830i.. i am very curious on rooting my phone! But scared from bricking it!!
I jus wanted to knw if it works fully in case of CM 7.2Z
Sent from my GT-S5830i using xda app-developers app
If you flash a custom ROM other than the retribution ROM, your phone will be bricked
Sent from my GT-S5830 using Tapatalk 2
what is a retribution ROM? And CM 7.2 is custom ROM right?
Sent from my GT-S5830i using xda app-developers app
There is no fully working CM7.2 for your Ace!
The only rom which is available for you is retribution rom!
Sent from my GT-S5830 using Tapatalk 2
but my phone already has android 2.3.6 inbuilt!! retribution is if no use hence!

So? Your main aim is to upgrade to upgrade to 2.3.7 or what?
Retribution Rom will make your phone faster than stock 2.3.6 anyway!

I don't even know what a "kernal" it's... Now if you mean KERNEL well Google it's your friend and if you are going to ask something at least use proper English to post.. It's annoying to read "plz, r,"

Use a stock rom. Cm probably cant convert that code, so it just displays it, as it is, but i am only guessing...

Given that SIV runs 4.2.2 it would make sense if only a few apps would work, some could partially work and some will need extensive porting to make it functional. Try to install them and see which one works and which one doesn't.
