So i found a way to record the screen without pointing a camera at it if you are interested in that. I made a video on youtube. I think my title sucks or no one on youtube cares but here's the video. Because I can't post links yet i have to give you a title to my video to search for.
Record your nexus 7 display(No camera)
For some reason it's important to me for others to know this. I guess that's why i made a tutorial. Lol.
Thanks. I hope this helps. =)
Edit: I just remembered it's the new year. I'm probably the only loser sitting home playing with tablets. Lol. =)

Yep. When I first saw this thread I thought it referred to getting a screen capture or screen shot. What you are actually referring to is completely different from that.

I've had my n7 about 5 days and the other night I was very very drunk, flashed smoothrom, too drunk to remember to clear cache and dalvik, got a boot animation freeze, went back, remembered to clear caches, and got it all working. That was after drinking a whole bottle of vodka myself. Bad idea doing things like that at times like that

Lmao. Yeah I was thinking they were gonna think I was referring to pointing a camera at the screen for some odd reason but sometimes I think too hard. Not sure why. I think I was also trying to keep the title short.
So while the mirroring potential is awesome, I have to ask, what's the advantage of this over just screen recording directly on the N7?

Are you talking about using screencast to record the Nexus 7. Because screencast doesn't work on the N7.
So, you see correctly what is written in the title.

It looks:
As if it's been adapted from one of their other products. The pictures of the user interface are completely wrong, as are some of the Q&A sections.
Very poorly translated from whatever language it was originally written in.
The schematics are amusing and obviously wrong in parts.

some of the Q&A are indeed from Optimus G as are some of the screens.
but schematics, exploded view, spare parts list are correct.
and this was uploaded in order to contribute in something which mightbe/is universal to Nexus 4 and even optimus G which are 2 siblings.

Now, replacing the battery is something people will want to do, but the instructions are just weird and the photos don't actually show the battery being removed.
Most of the tests will need specialist equipment and a lot of the troubleshooting flowcharts ultimately result in "replace the board".
Still if we could get hold of those download tools we should be able to unbrick any nexus 4.

http://www.gsmarena.com/samsung_galaxy_s4_update_brings_move_to_sd_hdr_video_capture-news-6170.php
Samsung got some heat for how much free storage is available on the Galaxy S4 out of the box and the company promised to look for ways to increase it. A new update that hit S4s in Germany is a step in the right direction.
The update (XXUBMEA) weighs in at 366MB and after installing it you get 9.23GB of free storage, up from 9.15GB (on a 16GB model). It's not much, but the update does bring a proper way to free up some space – you can now move apps to the microSD card.

Yea even though this is a German update it shows they are going to add this back in. This will most likely not hit the states for a bit though.

I don't see why there would be any sort of significant delay, they're just slowly rolling them out all over the place at the moment. The UK has gotten it, China has got it, and Germany - probably more too.
We should see it soon!

BTW Tapatalk has now access to your position and accounts (I saw these requests through Xprivacy).

Nice job...I didn't ask the initial question, but hopefully your find will help the inquiring party.
At the moment, I'm not on Slim, though I am watching their progress daily.
Unfortunately, I didn't see a solution to the posted question. The Android Central link had a guy posting that he was afraid that someone was monitoring his device. The xda thread appeared to have a few posts referencing the issue, but I didn't read far enough for a solution.
Anyway, I hope this issue gets resolved.
