Just wondering if possible and how would you do it. Wondering how the sound would be like from small speaker in the clasp.

Yeah, just enable USB debugging and push the file with adb, and install a music player.
adb push song.mp3 /sdcard/music
adb install apollo.apk
Haven't tried myself though, but i'd imagine that it would work
Galaxy Gear music
Yes you can add music to the Galaxy Gear but not with ADB. I tried it and it didn't work, but you can use adb to push almost any apk. You have to use a pc program called mobilego or mobile go to add music. It allows you to do it all, push files, pictures, apk's , mp3's and it has a file explore.

Install XBMC
Get XBMC remote from Google Code

Hi folks
How do you hide photos on the Z? I have tried moving the photos with file commander but this is still showing in the gallery and shortcut on my main screen? are they any apps or ways of deselecting folders on the gallery or album app?

Try hide it pro from the market
try create a folder starting with a dot, like: .photos.
and put the pictures there...
In the folder where you want to store and hide photos create a file called .nomedia then move the photos into the folder.
If you add the .nomedia file to an existing folder you may need to wipe Gallery data before it takes effect. Works on Sammy and HTC, haven't tried it myself on Sony.
OR, if rooted, get LUKS Manager from the market. Works like Windows Truecrypt.

I think media storage is more important. You also better reboot your phone.

Or you can download quickpic app to hid the folders for you..
it actually only create .nomedia file for you..
Install 'hide it pro' app downloading via Google play store, its free and after installation it will be renamed as audio manager, and tapping at 'audio manger' you will be able to install your password and you can view your hidden photos, videos. You can encrypt your data also.
And if you have root acess, you can hide your app downloading its plugin, located at advanced settings. Then you can launch your app calling @ ##yourpassword .

To hide your porn, clear data in media storage and album apps after renaming the .folder.

I tried Hide It Pro but prefer LUKS. Hide It just seems to change the name of your file and copy it to an obscure location, but you can still find it with a file explorer. I didn't try the encryption but it looked to me like it would only encrypt individual file(s)?
With LUKS, you create a password-protected encrypted volume (can take a while) and then you mount it. Once the volume is mounted it looks like a regular folder. You can create whatever folders you want and just cut/paste any filetype into it. Encryption is on the fly so you don't need to encrypt/decrypt files. In any file explorer, browse to a file in the volume, double-click and the file opens....pictures, music, videos, spreadsheets, text files etc, all open transparently out of the mounted volume. When you dismount the volume you cannot see inside it.
Tried changing a name of an existing folder to .saved and the folder disappear completely ?? any reason why this happened?
And tried creating a new one with .pvt ,sadly this not work, ast the folder created cant be seen?anyone experienced this problem before?
Just to clear the matter, lady friend sent me a bikini photo, not porn or any sort but since the album shows all on the Z, had a lot people want to check my phone out scanning through my photos etc which made me wonder if there is an app to ensure privacy.
Hide It Pro works well Thanks guys!! :good:
Halo,
i managed to sideload varius apps to my galaxy gear, one of them is mxplayer. Now trying to load a small xvid video to try it out!
Anyone knows how to do that from pc (which adb command to use) and would the mxplayer automatically find the uploaded video?
thanks!

Ive managed to watch multiple episodes of The Simpsons on mine using mxplayer! If you download Wondershare and connect it to your gear in debug mode you can just drag and drop video files into the video folder on your Gear from your PC.
Works a charm but eats battery fast, beware

Hi, Is there any way to send photos from a mobile phone need to watch?
I tried using "Bluetooth File Transfer", but I was unable to install to watch. Thanks for the tips
Not an option, I don't know why as it isn't be possible as apps are sent between the phone and watch, but it's only possible to transfer via USB at the moment.

Seek from the mobile app: samsung app gear
TransGear
It says you can transfer files via BT
Thanks and does not convert the image to a smaller resolution? I found a similar app, but that figure decreased to 320x320.
I'm curious as to what i could do to get my videos/pic/music to my note 9? I tried the android transfer file but it still doesnt recognize my mac.which is a 2015 running up to date os...I know when your on windows, windows itself will convert whatever needs to be converted once you start transferring in that windows will convert videos to what your phone plays

Good luck, I remember the nightmare I went through when changing ecosystems when moving from an iPhone 4s back in the day to an S4 Samsung. It was hellish.

Use hand shaker to drag stuff to your phone from your Mac
And use isyncr to sync your music to your phone as long as it's on iTunes

I save it to the memory card
When you load the software on the Mac . If you go into the icon on the bar and right click there will be a galaxy option this is what you need to click on
Fastest is usb connect your cable , click on the galaxy option and go onto your phone and trust device
I am at work so I can't screen shot it but I will do later on
The isyncr pro version is £7.99 which allows unlimited tracks but we'll worth money only other option is to copy your music folder from your iTunes folder on the Mac and copy it across using hand shaker

Did you install the latest version of Android File Transfer.
I have no problems whatsoever to hook up my Mac.
1 Connect USB
2 wake up your a note
3 start Android File Transfer.
4 click "agree" button on note.
If this doesn't work You may need the developer options. You may have to change some USB settings.
