No it isn't back.I tried an old trick that works with some phones.I added "WAKE" next to volume_up and volume_down lines in generic.kl file located in system\usr\keylayout.I still can't use volume rocker to wake the phone up.
I don't get why they don't give us an option to use volume rocker to wake phone up.This phone's power button looks stable but I'd still want to use volume rocker to wake my phone up, since its easier to reach.

I have sent to the developers a request for this feature, but no reply from them till now.
Have you folks have any success in making it work, even using additional app ???

use some other custom rom, you have lots of them that support that option, like slimbean, vanir, carbon, paranoid android
but in official cm 10.2 i doubt that this option will be implemented

Dev0lver, I can see in your signature that you are experimenting different roms and kernels, would you recommend specific ones? my main concern if speed and stability of course.THx.

Depends of what you want, and how many customization option you want
For now best ROMs for me are vanir rom and Slimbeam, but that can depend form user to user

Well, basically I need to edit the android-policy.jar, framework.jar and framework-res.apk, then add the CMscreenshot.apk in system/app and the screenshot file in system/bin.
But I personally lost a bit with the code to edit the files.
One example:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1692080 but only and option screenshot.
Two example:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1176927 but not as a port to s5830
three example:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1845603 but extras options and only power menu without screenshot
You mean you want to add screen shot option to power menu?
Insert witty sentence here
Yes, and add the submenu to reboot options
Not very easily. Just use power toggles from the play store. It uses the same method music players use for controlling music from the notification bar to allow you to toggle most power options.

Well we can easily port stuff from cm7
Look at the all in one mods by parasmi
He ported the toggles
And lockscreens from cm7

For somebody with experience guess it will be easy, I personally I have it harder.
But I will continue comparing code and learning.
Well I managed to use the code [MOD] ALL-in-1 Mod for Stock Firmwares (XWKT7 and DDKQ8) **LOCKSCREEN MUSIC CONTROL** to put in ktm, but still need to add the screenshot and return the data network option.
I have only compared code, then I have done a copy and paste
If someone wants to try here it is:

Full credit for parasmi, Thanks

Volume wakup for stock rom?

I'm using the official htc stock rom (sense 3.6) and I was wondering if we can use the volume buttons to wakeup the phone. Is there a tweak or an app for this that really does work?
Anyone any ideas?

You can try this
Made for ARHD, might work for stock, make a backup just in case

Go to the Development section and take a look at the XS-ICS 2.2 Kernel. It works great with thr stock ICS ROM and has the Swipe to Wake feature. When it is in sleep mode you can swipe across the touch buttons to wake it up. You can also swipe it right to left to put it into sleep mode. It is a great feature.
@eRadicant:
I see that there is a zip file. I assume that you have to install it with 4ext recovery.
But my phone is back to stock. So I'm not rooted, no revcovery and relocked. So I can't install the zip file (I think).
@tpbklake :
don't know if the XS-ICS 2.2 kernel is stable enough. I'm reading that there are still some issues.
So I wanted to try this thread: forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1285187
But I don't have the classes.dex file. So I think I'll just give up and wait for the Nik's transformer.

some firmware have bug:
1. Sometimes there may be errors in the screen while typing and unlock. On the official firmware this is not observed.
2. Sometimes there is an abnormal power consumption in standby mode, the power consumption can usually ranges from 3% to 4% in 6 hours, sometimes at the same time, power consumption can be up to 15%.
3. Problems with the volume
The first two bugs are described in kernel developer.

Yes, it has been confirmed by Chinese Forum/
PS: Yes, and just do the Chinese have a great Rom, which has better performance and fluency than posted in this forum, but here they are not allowed to post. I do not understand what's the point, because I think that we're all trying to make the perfect Rom. (sorry for my english)

Because their Rom are all base on virtuous Rom or others not base on ruu . Also many of them use venom tweaks and they don't have permission to use . That's why we can't post here because their Rom are not original developed.

New hunterwu v3.02 has been uploaded
changes;
google translate : v3.02 kernel uses four buttons first stop set other functions, in order to avoid conflicts .... first few days, no problem and then set other function
Only in this way can the better judgment is not caused by the new version of S2W (sliding open the screen) ... hope to Remember
Please open the SMS bright screen functionality, first off ... this thing may open with sliding screen conflict

After flashing v3.02 kernel ,do not set four buttons(menu.home.....) to other functions first ,it may cause some problems.
Try to use this kernel few days, if there is no problem and then you can set other function on them.
So that we can judge this bug was caused by new version of S2W or not.
Please turn off SMS screen on function ,this may cause problem with new version of S2W
I try to translate it smoothly

[ROM] LiquidSmooth 4.2.2 for the Razr HD XT926 & XT925

LiquidSmooth is one of the fav roms so after moving to the Razr HD a few weeks ago I set out to bring it to my new device. Big thanks to the LiquidSmooth Team and to the Razrqcom-Dev-Team, their sources were used to bring this rom together. I can't say that I am a very knowledgeable developer but sure am having fun trying to learn.
You must be unlocked and use Gapps for 4.2. Whatever you do to your device is your own responsibility. I suggest you have a backup and be prepared to flash back to stock if you encounter a major issue. Be sure to wipe before first install and I have been using TWRP recovery. Seems some users have reported issues using CWM. When you flash the script will still erase the current system and then mount-flash the new one. Don't manually mount system when flashing.
Get it here: http://d-h.st/search?search_by=2&search_for=jsnweitzel
05/28 - Not waking issue seems to be fixed now
Fix audio loss issue when disconnecting a headset
Kernel version now 3.0.80 thanks to dhacker29 and the razr-qcom-dev-team with over clocking.
Liquid version 2.5 see changelog here: http://pastebin.com/DVAHE9D6
06/07 - Liquid version 2.6
Sound search app working
Overclocking a bit more stable - thanks to SkrilaxCZ
06/17 Lots of changes in the past week. The following should work but may be buggy (especially HALO, yes the PA Halo)
Kernel version 3.0.82
Camcorder
HDMI out
HALO (Thanks PA!)
07/01 - Pretty much bugless! Official support is now here for this and other moto msm8960 based phones. Builds should start showing up under liquidsmooth in goo. I will still be running some of my own using bytecode's kernel. So you can try both versions. Version 2.8 should be out today-tonight. Change log: http://pastebin.com/Bfj30Nqq
About Halo:
Features:
- Apps open up in floating state, apps underneath do not pause
- complete SystemUI & Core integration, making HALO feel like a native feature, source/SDK and UI/UX
- HALO has white and blacklists, which for now allow fine control for apps pinging through HALO
- multiple gestures to navigate HALO:
- double-tap-move: move
- tap-drag-left/right: task through notifications, finger up launches
- tap-drag-up: dismiss notification
- tap-drag-down: put HALO into semi-hidden state
- swipe while HALO is hidden wakes it up
- drag-to-X to remove HALO altogether
- comes with as few settings as possible, everything should be self explanatory and intutive,
users must be informed about the double-tap gestures which is the only catch.

I'm running the 926 version and so far it is great. Has all the features I'm looking for in one package. I'll know for sure in a few days, but it does seem like the battery life is a little below where it was with Blackbean.
One question...is anyone having trouble with Google Sound Search? I keep getting a message saying the mic is being used by another app. Any ideas?

That ROM is a port from S3 MINI 4.4.2 Carbon, when developer of that ROM adds it - probably we will have it. And yes, those options probably are not implement.
