This is a CM10.2/PACman kernel I compiled.
UPDATE: I have changed the CPU frequency tables to allow 192MHz minimum speed in addition to enabling overclocking.
You can download a CWM/TWRP flashable zip of the kernel from HERE
Feedback welcomed!

Do you know if flashing this gets rid of slight lag 4.3 roms have? That's the only reason I've been staying away from them.

I tried flashing this over liquid smooth and couldn't get it to boot. Boot animation was very choppy and then just froze. Not sure about AOKP though.
Just a note, GPL dictates you must provide kernel source within 80 days of public release. I know we're not at that limit but thought I might say something since I didn't see source linked in the OP.

It's not about what I want. GPL is the law. It's possible for you to get in serious legal trouble.

Updated kernels that now include this fix:
.35 = francos v1.1-02102011 and newer
.32 = fserves gbs v18b2 and newer
It seems that some phones experience camera flicker when overclocking and some don't.
Example of Camera Flicker
I noticed that I didn't experience camera flicker with Paulos .35 kernel so I dug through his sources and found the routine that solved my problem.
Note - I'm not a developer and I've only tested this with francos .35 sources.
Extract acpuclock.c to arch/arm/mach-msm and compile
I've contacted franco and fserve via PM with my findings and I know that franco is including it in his next release. However, if you can't wait.... do it yourself!!
THIS IS NOT A FLASHABLE ZIP.
is it .35 only, right?

I don't think so. I know that I get camera flicker with both francos and your .32 kernels but not with Zacks. He has also implemented this or some variation (wish I could see his sources).
If you'll compile golldenleaf or gbs with this fix I'll test it for you.

I hate people that don't share their sources... It's completely against GPL. But well like I told you before thanks for that finding. I'll update my .32 and .35 when I have time.
CAF FTW! =), nice finding btw!
CAF patches/code can do wonders sometimes ;D
well that sounds good waiting for franco next release along with the integration

Guess where he got the CAF patches from...
1. No, smartass it's obsolete, you have smartass2
2. No, recompile the kernel yourself if you want vsync off
3. No, there's plenty of documentation and explanations about that

He does now in his newest versions but he applied this fix in version 3.3 or something (sites down now can't confirm the version number). This is when he stated in his changelog that he applied Paulos camera fix.
He also neglected to mention that he was using francos sources as his base (so wrong). Comparing franco and Zacks changelog and looking at the date/time stamps it's hard to argue this.
Edit - Sorry franco I didn't see you post before I began mine.

@OP
Thanks a million for the stock kernels! We have so many custom kernels but rarely do we have completely stock ROM/kernel/radio/boot oader as flashable zips!
I appreciate your efforts a lot
I wanted to ask you a favour...
These seems to be no TOTALLY STOCK JSS ROM available atm.
Can you be so kind to compile for us a stock (flashable zip) of totally stock JSS with NO improvements at all? totally stock.
Each of JSS ROMs here seem to have this or that improvements or tweaks in them, which me (and most people I know) don't want. We just want a totally stock Google experience.
If you would kindly include such in the OP, it would be a gracious effort. Thanks

@jlink38 could u make a zip with JWR66Y kernel zip?
Some say there is some changes in the branch (read it on google +)
sent from my NEXUS 4 tasting a revamped cooking recipe of Jellybeans (stock 4.3).
I'll take a look at the full update zip. The OTA doesn't have a boot.img included. I'm on my phone so I'll have to wait til I get home to check the full image.

Apologies for the brief disruption. This is my first attempt at uploading my work on XDA so I wasn't aware of certain things. I have re-uploaded the kernel and the link the source.
Hi Everyone!
I compiled this kernel with just the PA Halfbreed Color changes in it. Here's the link to the commit that I pulled into this kernel. Thank you PA!
It is based on the stock Kitkat kernel (Branch android-msm-mako-3.4-kitkat-mr0). I had been trying to compile my own kernel for quite sometime using the Code Sourcery toolchain but the kernel always got stuck in a bootloop when flashed. This one is compiled using Google's pre-built toolchain. It works and I hope it will perform at least as well as the stock kernel.
Here's the source for the kernel with the Halfbreed changes: https://github.com/stevewilliam/kernel_msm/tree/android-msm-mako-3.4-kitkat-mr0
I am not into building recovery flashable zips. This is a boot.img (just named as boot_HALFBREED.img). The easiest way to flash it would be to boot into the bootloader and flash it using fastboot:
Code:
fastboot flash boot boot_HALFBREED.img
It would be great if someone more acclimated to building recovery flashable zips can make one and upload!
Let me know how it worked for you or if you faced any issues. I have tried it and it worked for me when I flashed it over a KRT16S build. I would safely assume that this would work on KRT16O build too, but I don't know if it would work on any of the builds prior to Kitkat (we already have the original for those builds anyways :laugh
Enjoy and don't forget to hit Thanks! if you liked it or if it worked for you or if you simply feel like!

Update:
Uploaded new kernel for 4.4.1 (boot_HALFBREED_441.zip)
Kernel source is located here: https://github.com/stevewilliam/kernel_msm/tree/android-msm-mako-3.4-kitkat-mr1
I flashed it on stock 4.4 and it worked fine. So it should work on stock 4.4.1. Let me know if anyone faces any issues.
Enjoy!
Please remember that this is not a recovery flashable zip!
boot_HALFBREED.zip
boot_HALFBREED_441.zip
Thanks! I have been waiting for this to come out. I will try it when I get home to a computer.

I think OP forgot to upload the file.... Unless I'm being blind.

I don't really have an answer to this as I'm not fully aware.
If the stock kernel allows loading of modules then I don't see why this one shouldn't.

You have to enable the modules yourself on the kernel.. Once you do it, i believe this kernel would be same as bponury's stock modified kernel
