I'm having an issue where NO apps are being shown for my primary account in the My Apps part of the Market. Not even paid apps. If I search for them, they show up as installed/purchased, but nothing shows in My Apps.
I've tried the usual clear data/clear cache and reboot, and the download a free app and restart. I've also even wiped and returned to stock -- no dice. Has anyone else experienced this bizarre issue before?
I am having that issue to?

Clear data/cache, reboot.
I experienced this same thing and finally realized that you can switch accounts on the market and for some reason it decided to start defaulting to another of my google accounts that I have connected to this device (but not set as the primary). This actually has persisted and I have been too lazy to look into it, I just open up market and change it to my primary account every few days to get updates....however, I have noticed that I accidentally downloaded some apps into one of the other accounts which means I have to be on that one to update it unless I uninstall and reinstall under the correct one.

Yeah, as I said in my OP I've already done the data/cache and reboot.
And yeah, I know about the accounts thing...weirdly, a few apps show for my other two accounts, but nothing at all whatsoever for my primary account which should have 100+ apps.
I can't seem to find anyone else having this problem. Weirdly again, even if I download an app using my primary account, it still shows nothing in My Apps for it.
I've got the same problem going to try removing account to resyce right now.

Ya, I have that retarded prob too. I even updated market from aptoide. I'm on 5.5.893. Gonna update to 5.7.893 pretty soon, see if that fixes it. In the meantime try appbrain for updates.

Same issue here - still no solution.
Looks like google is aware:
Applications missing from "My Apps"
We're aware of reports from some users that several applications are missing under "My Apps" on their devices, and we're currently looking into the issue.

Not really bizarre, just a bug. I posted onseveral forums about this. This is a androud market place bug. You can find it posted over on Google.com in their support forums for android marketplace. Was posted originally posted on 9/13 I believe, with no fix yet. Its not limited to Bionic, virtually all new phones now see it. They have tried 2 marhetplace updates so far with no fix.
Some people report no problems ...but most posters report some kind of issue. For me, all purchased apps are visible, as are all preinstalled apps. No free apps show up.
Check out the threads over there. The fantastic Google support will dazzle you.
weird!! Hope you find a solution
Have same problem already posted on the fourm

The only solution I found was to wipe data, then re-add my Google accounts but I made a different account my primary. It doesn't matter which is primary anymore since the Market now allows you to select.

As I mentioned earlier, Google mentions this as an issue with marketplace. It was reported on 9/13 on the Google site. I 'assumed ' it was all phones.
Earlier today I setup my LG G2x andHTC G2. Both restored all apps, including paid and free apps. I FR my Bionic, and free apps were not setup. Paid apps were displayed but not installed.
Clear cache and reboot does not resolve this.
So, either something is going on with the market, and/or the Bionic.
Got the same issue.
Temporary solution - restore from TB. Works for a while then it reverts back to "no show"
Did anyone try the new marker version 3.3.12 to resolve this?

Be wary of "forcing" OTA updates using Framework Services trick, breaks stuff
I've seen this posted before in many of the "4.1.2" threads, but the info is likely to get buried in there, and since I have personally experienced this myself with my GNex, I figured I'd post this in a new thread.
The method of force stopping/clearing the data of Framework Services in the All Apps list to force any OTA to download will cause you a lot of headaches after the update. There are a couple of issues that I could see.
Firstly, ANY app (not just Google apps) that uses push notifications for anything WILL break. The only way to fix them is to either force stop/clear data from ALL of those apps (meaning you might potentially lose important app data as this basically resets the app back to when you first downloaded it), and set all of them back up again, OR to do a Factory Reset of the entire device after your device is updated.
Secondly, you will NOT be able to download apps from the Play Store weblink and "push" them to your device. The Play Store will NOT see your device anymore as it won't be in your devices list. There might be a way to fix this, but I haven't found it, aside from again, doing a Factory Reset and setting up your device from scratch. Even if I logged out/deleted my Google account, and re-logged in/re-added, this did not fix the problem.
Thirdly, Google Music/Play Store purchases of Books/Movies/Magazine/Music seem to be broken at times. Whatever the authorization process Google uses, you break it when you clear Framework Services. This happened to me once, and might have only been a one-time deal, but please be wary of this.
Now, like I've said, I've run into these issues on my Galaxy Nexus while forcing OTAs. The only way I could proceed with my newly updated device without constant Google Services/Play Store/Notification issues was to completely reset my phone and start from scratch. Now I know some people like to do this between major updates anyway, to start the device fresh, so this wouldn't apply to you anyway since you would update and then immediately Factory Reset, but if you're just planning on updating and keeping your device configured the way it is now, you will run into these issues (and potentially others that we don't know about yet).
A better idea to me would be to either wait for the OTA to be pushed automatically, or to save yourself time, flash to stock using the new factory images. Would save you a lot of time by doing that, rather than figuring out what apps broke and what you need to fix, and how to fix them.
Please be wary of this, and know the consequences if you do attempt it.
I can confirm that messing with the Framework to force the OTA does muck up purchases and update of apps through Google Play.
So be advised. You'll most likely have to delete your Google account off the device and clear Google App cache, restart, the reenter you Google account info to get Google Play back to normal.

Failed OTA leading to a minor disaster?
Damn and blast! I read this seconds after I did this little trick. I've not yet run the 2nd OTA... might I escape the consequences of my trusting foolishness?
I did it because the scheduled OTA failed and was aborted (said CWM Recovery) but I failed to note the exact error message. Could this have been caused by it being rooted, as little else has been done to screw the Nexus around?
Where is the update stored before it is processed? Not on 'SDcard'. Is it a full download or a stub for a later big download?

i used this method and have had no issues with none of the stuff you described. Its actually running flawlessly right now. I also forced the update on my Gnote (yes not a google device, but still a android force update) with no issue.
edit: I only cleared the data, not forced stop
Yep I know I, oldblue910 and others have warned people about this and it was just glossed over..
Oh well.. At least people are trying..
This is how I updated mine and haven't noticed any problems. What would be a sure fire way of knowing that this method caused some problem? My account is recognized in the Play store and apply updates are recognized. Thanks.

Same thing with the Nexus S about 6 months ago. Peeps trying to get the OTA early and breaking stuff on their phones. So I left well alone during the 4.1.2. update and just waited.
This method always came with a warning.
No problems with my device being recognised on the web play store. Also reset my main apps to get notifications working properly.
All fine here

I massive forced this method to get 4.1.2 on my Nexus 7. I stopped this procces and deleted data again and again for 3 days until the update appeared.
Concretly, I had to do this trick 6 times in a row just before I got the update option.
And my device runs flawlessly, I can install from web gplay to the device, all my apps using push services hadn't a single problem, etc.
Before being that catastrophic, you'd get sure if this affects Nexus 7 or was a problem in Gnexus only..
I did this "trick" about 4 times to force the update. I did not stop the process, only cleared data.
My device seems to be running normally. I get gmail, can access the play store, and can remotely install apps from the web interface. I'll keep an eye on it though to see if I get any side effects.
seems to be only a issue with the nexus phone since no 1 has reported having this problem with the nexus 7.

It'll show up eventually, nothing to freak over. Just for preventive measures.. Remove your Google account on your phone and re-add it.. Your Nexus 7 should show back up on the Play website in less than 12hrs..

Just for future reference.. To remove your Google account from the Tablet
Settings.. Tap on the Google account under accounts / Tap on the section with your email and little sync icon / Tap the menu button / remove account.
You are incorrect here in number of points. I've done this many times and while yes, push notifications stop working for a while in some apps, they start working again soon after. What happens is that you end up removing Google connection data from your phone, this is why the device becomes lost for Google Play, why push notifications fail and so on.
The reason why many don't have any clue that this happens is that this restores itself automatically. Why? Because it still has Google Account. YOU DO NOT NEED TO RESET YOUR PHONE. If you experience these problems, then just wait. Longest I had to wait for it to reset was about a day, but it generally happens much quicker.
You can speed this process up usually by visiting Play Store on your phone and just in case starting every app you have that has push notifications registered for once.
Your phone will do all the work.
Haven't had any issues since I did the force update. All apps still push notifications and at the play store website my n7 is still there with all my apps.

Hey guys, so I just got the S5 a couple of days ago and I love it. However, I'm having some problems with the push notifications of certain apps not coming through, yet they do easily on my Nexus 7. They weren't a problem on my Nexus 5, but I have no idea why it's not working properly on a brand new phone like the S5. Each of the apps, like Facebook, Instagram and Snapchat to name a few, are all listed to push notifications and they're set in the main Android settings, so I have no idea. Anyone else have the same kind of issues like me?
To note, I've already factory resetted my phone several times, cleaned out the data, caches, etc and still no use. I am rooted though, but I doubt that should make a huge difference, right? And right now, I'm not using Xposed framework, but before when I first noticed the issues, I was. Thanks in advance!
Taking a longshot here...but have you updated that Samsung Push Service app through the Play Store (and all other apps for that matter)?

if you used Titatium backup to restore any apps that use push, that could be your issue. I restored facebook, instagram , snapchat etc and the push never works when i restore, you need to clear the app out, and just login new for each push app.

Yeah, I did that initially, but that was the first time I got the phone. Now, I've been clearing out the caches and data for each app, uninstalling it and reinstalling it from the Play Store, but still some of the apps don't have the push capability unless I was just in the app or still in it. Some of my problem apps are GroupMe, Snapchat and Instagram. When I had my Nexus 5, that wasn't the issue at all.
Is there anything else I can do to fix this issue?

Check out TB Restore Fixer on the app store. I noticed that when I did Titanium Backup restore, some of my apps were not working correctly and I couldn't reach certain parts of my storage, etc. After I ran it, it seemed to have straightened everything out. (Requires root, of course)
Hope this fixes your problems!
Same problem
I first started having this issue a week ago. I checked all the setting, factory reset, and I ended up switching out the Galaxy 5 through Sprint yesterday. E-mails and FB messenger app was working on data while I was driving home and I thought the problem was fixed. I reinstalled all the apps I was using and over night let the phone charge. When I woke up this morning I noticed two of the folders I made were removed and a widget for S Health replaced the folders spot. Thinking nothing of it I removed the widget and made it to work this morning to find out I had 3 e-mails waiting, a notification on facebook, and another message through FB messenger that did not come through this morning. I am receieving notifications if im on wifi but not through the data now and this is a new phone. I think this may have something to the 4.4.4 release but this is bugging me. Any new suggestions?
I have seen issues with sprint where phone calls are fine but data wont work in certain areas of the city unless you turn data roaming on it apears that the signals are ok for voice but not for data in thoes areas

Data roaming is checked on, I did go in today and saw a roaming guard on data and turned it off but nothing yet. It's been two months and my push notifications are still not working. Figure I'd come here and bump again.
Im having same issue looks like no one has a solution for this... I get all my notifications while im on wifi but soon as im on data i stop getting some notifications. Very frustrating.

Your issues with Play store, reminds me of 2 x similar incidents, i had with my old Note devices.
Think it was Note 3 and my Note 4. Not sure.
Unfortunately It was a few years back!
eg.
When i tried to download, an apps update etc and
app size was eg 2mb or 5 mb.. etc I struggled to download.Very frustrating!
Eventually after a week or 2, maybe 3.
i was able to pinpoint
the the "suspect"
(Unfortunately i cannot remember clearly ,
but it was either, that i had sideloaded
wrong updated version of Play services apk
(Cleaning Play services cache did not help.)
or it was an Xposed /Xposed model.
(So phone was also rooted)
Anyway ,
i then decided to factory reset and Playstore
was working fine again.
Bottom line is
you can either look for the "suspect"?
causing this.
( I know there was a few threads about similar issues with Playstore, on XDA... way back then ! )
or save yourself from the frustration it's causing?
and try a "clean" Factory reset.!
Good luck
Have you tried cleaing the cache data in the internal storage? That usually helps with this sorta issue.
Tried that not working in either what you said

Is it on wifi or data?
Reset router modem.
Do other apps lag like YouTube or Netflix.
Download speed bad in your area.
Uninstall GP updates and try to reinstall them or apk from web.
Is updating apps through wifi only ?
Clear out all pending updates and restart device.
Do you have another device or friends to see if it's the same problem on theirs too for your region.
Try a different proxy.
Just throwing some ideas around!!
Go into your Google settings and see if you have it to update using wifi only I personally always turn auto updates off.. I had this problem with my Note 8 when I 1st got it. How I fixed it was I went into settings and went to apps and cleared the cache and data on Google play services and playstore and foreclosed them and then went to accounts and removed my Google account and restarted my phone.. when my phone rebooted I went to the playstore and had to login fresh again and that fixed the problem.
I fixed it by factory resetting phone. Thankfully I backed it all up
