I may have found a good application to limit the problem of wakelock and battery drain.
I'm using this application :
Wake Lock - PowerManager by Darken
and I'm really preserving battery life without compromising the performance of the phone.
I have a modified rom with Mokee.
Bye

Could your explain a bit more on what the program does or what you did to get less wakelocks because as far as I can see its only to create a wakelock to prevent your phone from deepsleep
Thanks in forward

in truth I do not really have no idea. :what:
Mine is an experimental observation. By installing this little app, it seems to me that the battery has more life and, above all, when the phone is in standby consumption much less

-Marvel
-Suppressed
And please make a confrontation with V20 ROM!
Thanks

I think yes, but 6.23o ver. and zeus is faster then stock

It's difficult to be slower than Stock ROM! xD

Zeus has lots of tweaks so it really is a hell lot faster than any ROM out there.
And it's just exited Zeus 6.24!

8h and 88%?
I Read that CM7 waste a Lot Of battery...

Look better : like said above, screen is mostly off. But I have to admit that with Temasek kangs, I have a good battery but I never play games on it, so battery is less used lol. ;-)

As you can see, I didn't use a lot wifi and screen is sleep, but 10 hours and 88% is good enough for any one.
the battery life is a lot different for everyone. it depends on your rom and the usage. i need good battery and i concluded on the following steps
1. install a custom rom equipped with custom io schedulers and governors. choose an battery friendly oriented governor (f.e. ondemand/ondemandx interactive/interactivex) and tha right scheduler. you can google for the governor/scheduler combinations but the most important part is the governor.
2. switch to 2g and use only if necessary wifi bluetooth gps connections
3.disable auto sync apps like gmail
4. set the scrren out option to 30secs or 1 min and the brightness to power saving mode
5. i don't know if it really conserve battery but make the rom faster uninstall/freeze the unnecessary system apps link of what you can uninstall http://www.modaco.com/topic/341738-list-of-applications-that-can-be-safely-removed/

Really depends how you use the phone. In stand by very small baterry drain. I think the same like in 6, 24. It is my feeling

I got 2 days of battery time on Zeus V6.24, it's really awesome..
now I'm testing the new V6.25
i'm using zeus but asking in the zeus thread might offend huexxx and his disciples, is mobile standby, i.e. the mobile radio supposed to be the main battery consumer? It's always around 50% of the total battery consumtion. It is the same with 2G only
Hello everyone, I have a problem with the application Lux auto brightness, the problem is that this application should change the brightness automatically, but for me it is only possible to change with negative numbers. Between 0% and 100% I see no changes, I read that the developer said to be a bug of the rom but I have not understand . Can someone help me :banghead:

I have asked at the developer and this is the response?
"If it can only change subzero values, then your ROM/kernel isn't passing on the brightness values to the display. I use the Android API for this, so it should work fine. Also check that you haven't put Lux into sleep mode (see if it says 'sleeping' in the notification)."
My app isn't in sleep mode but I don't understand all the response can someone translate it in a comprehensive language for me
And any solution for this?

I am going to admit that I have no idea what's wrong, but let's get the debugging process rolling anyway.
First question: Have you tried asking in the CM10.1 thread?
Second question: Have you tried disabling the auto brightness feature in settings?
Third question: Are you running stock CM10.1 kernel?

Thanks for your reply
1. Yes I have asked two times but no one have replied
2. I have tried all possible combination with the option of the rom and the application without results
3. I'm running all stock rom

Assuming that the developer is correct, then either cyanogen mod omitted something critical for the app, or the auto brightness feature is locked down by the auto brightness control of cyanogen mod. Either way is not something you can solve easily.
My recommendation would be to try out another AOSP rom. I have switched to paranoid android recently after using cyanogen mod for two and a half years. Compared to other AOSP roms in order to try out the pie control feature.

Okay this is not a solution, but if I wanted to feel paranoid that tread do you recommend? I use cyanogen nightly for its continued development

I have found the problem /solution is an incompatibility with swipepad (only top corner)

Hello everyone.
So, I upgraded to KitKat (duh!) Loving all the new features.
But... After having used j-team aosp for a while my phone wouldn't give me proper battery readings:
Phone would say that the battery is charging even though it's not.
Phone would say that battery is at 100% even though it's not and it would later on (randomly) switch to some other value closer to the real value and decrease very quickly.
Phone does not recognise it's charging and instead displays the same value all the time.
Now, I can make it work OK if I reboot the phone, but it's really a bit of a hassle.
This same issue is present even after I switched to TC CM11 so I'm not sure it's rom-related (did all the wipes of course!!) but at the same time my boyfriend had the same issue when he installed cm11 on stock jb, so I don't think it's phone related.
I tried a couple of battery calibration apps with no avail.
Any suggestions...?
Thanks in advance!

Do couple full charge and discharge and see what happen. It is like that when you change ROM, my fist charge on new CM11 gave me half day of use, but 2-3 charge was fine.
Well, the thing is, I've been using cm11 for more than a month now. I'm sure the battery has had enough time to settle!

Are you experiencing the following Kernel wakelocks on your phone?
msm_serial_hs_dma
BTLowPower
The effect is that my phone (4.4.4) never ever sleeps, and sometimes get warm.
My GWR is running 5.0.2 with almost no whatchfaces and/or 3rd party apps. 5.0.1 was not different.
Please participate to the poll.
Thanks.
Am I really the only one with this issue?
Thanks for help.

You would probably have to provide more detail on how to easily determine someone has the issue.

I've just update my Z3 to stock 5.0.2 and the above wakelocks are still there!!
I reset the GWR, installed wear from scratch and removed all apps that had a related wear app.
What can I do more to trouble shoot it?
My phone is 100% awake when the watch is connected. As soon as I disconnect it goes back to sleep.
Any chance the phone or the watch are defective?
Thanks in advance.
