Anyone eager to port BlackBox rom for our i9305? I recon that it's something.. different from other standard roms.
4.1.2 based, fully CM themed, quite interesting I would say!
Here is the link: HERE
I've gave it look and definitely would be nice to try it out!
Did you by any chance contacted the dev? Chances are he could actually do it himself. Dunno just saying!

I posted a question in the Q&A thread of the blackbox rom regarding the possibility of having the support for our S3 LTE variant but unfortunately the devs don't have any plans of porting it to our I9305.

I don't have the phone, I don't and won't build roms for a phone I don't have - I can't test anything before releasing it, and to do so would be against xda rules
I'm quite happy for someone to port it, but I won't be able to provide much support

Hi guys.
First thanks for the work you do in this community to support the Optimus Lg Black, say I'm with Nova 1.7.30 ROM and a ROM incredible, thanks Noejn.
Ask if it would be possible or if any developer is working on a Port of MIUI?
It does not seem to say anything MIUI.Com
Thanks and I am not mistaken the question.
Nothing?

Cyanogen team is an awesome team... Entrophy512 and xplodwild are both great developers... If they released something its because it's way better and improved over the previous release...
Now if you are not a developer you don't need a change log but if you are and unless you are building from CM10 source you could need it but in that case you wouldn't need to ask that... So you got 2 options, stay with v4 or enjoy they way improved v5

Lol worst answer ever? Of course the ppl behind this is great. But the guy in post 1 could have many different reasons why he want to know what the difference between v4 and v5 is. For one thing he just want to know it out of curiosity. He might want something for from v4 on HIS device etc. It's one thing to ask but another thing to believe you are owed an answer. He did in no way tell us that he demanded an an answer from the creators of the rom. Maybe even someone else know?

woah! is that the way you understand changelog? for developers? kidding me? thanks for answering but its not helpful.
i need to see and understand changelog everytime i flash a rom.. so that i know what i am into. just like most people do.
hmmm this is an off topic OP but your nick sounds quite familiar.... My eldest brother used to go far out to remote places in the Philippines, and I could have swore he said something to me before... hmm quite akin to the word 'bore'
anyway On your topic.. you can visit the CM10 thread thoroughly OP, you for yourself can be the better judge in comparing the improvements on the updates itself.
here in XDA... there's always an unspoken rule here in XDA that most if not everyone should always follow..."Search, Read and Learn, before you Question on anything and everything

hello, any developer care to port this?
Since its source is out and use cm 10.1 as base...

To rapidly support a wide range of devices, our architecture reuses some of the drivers and hardware enablement available for Android.
As a consequence, at the current images you'll find some of the Android services running at the device, and the Ubuntu filesystem living separately, inside a container.
For quick reference, these are the current components used from Android:
Linux Kernel (stock Android kernel provided by the vendor, with a few changes to support some extra features needed by Ubuntu)
OpenGL ES2.0 HAL and drivers
Audio/Media HAL and services, to re-use the hardware video decoders
RILD for modem support
As Ubuntu is running in a separated container on top of an Android kernel and services, the communication between them happens via Binder, Sockets and libhybris.
Other than the very basic services (needed to re-use the binary blobs already available), the rest is just pure Ubuntu goodness

Nope! Tizen its prew os! I dont know how run this os in galaxy mini 2 and how can use android app in this os (when its possible)!
i think its a little bit too early for that..
As I see this "Tizen" it's BadaOS, wich is an older OS, the older version of Android.. BadaOS was normally used on Wave devices and Android it's a lot better and faster than it.. belive me that porting this os would be a waste of time, an UbuntuOS port would be great !
Ok, I was only asking

officially recognized at least.
it's updated by a recognized MIUI China porter, not an official Xiaomi porter.
Im not trying to be funny but it looks exactly like MIUI, what are the differences ?

Slight UI differences, otherwise most Chinese ROMs are alike. It's strange
