No matter the lighting conditions, or the settings I use, I always seem to get a lot of noise. It seems a lot worse in the top left hand corner and far left of the photos (when taken in landscape). Even when the camera lens is completely covered by something there's a red hue coming from those areas, with noise observed all over the screen, and then a blue hue to the far right side. When I switch to video this completely disappears. Anyone else having this problem or is this a faulty unit or working as expected?

While playing with my camera at my desk in low light, I notice there was a pink spot right in the middle of the frame when shooting a blank white background. It seems like this is an issue with some Samsung phones, too (came up as suggested posts). I've never seen this before on any phone I've owned, but I'm sure it has to do with the sensor—could be a characteristic of the sensor + high ISO. I don't think it will be a real-world issue, but it bothers me to know that it exists. Anyone else notice this?
I need some insight into the P10 camera. In auto, the rear camera seems to incorrectly read exposure so I find it overexposures the screen in bright sunlight or situations of high contrast. It's very hard taking a picture when a slight tilt of the phone makes it switch from dark to light in an instant. Just as bad in selfie mode.
Is this normal? Is there anyway to adjust it?
I find it mystifying as it's incapable of taking a simple pic in an ordinary scenario which most other good phones on the market are capable of doing by default.
Of course there is manual mode where you can adjust the EV but it should be able to do this automatically.
When you hold you finger on screen you can change exposure I think (a circled sun icon appears) ? You move it with finger still on screen to see differences.
Recently, I've noticed the Note 8 camera tends to overexpose the background light in photos by default (that is when you tap on the screen to focus on a location and it adjusts light automatically). The pictures are amazingly sharp and high quality, but they seem a bit fake due to this light overexposure. On the other hand, when I manually adjust the light, the pictures tend to look more realistic of the natural situation.
So does the camera just overexpose by default? Or is this normal for all cameras? I'm using all default settings and auto mode.
For comparison, and better understanding of my question, see the two photos.
Touch to focus work similar in every other phone. Get focus and light settings only on touched object. Background always become over or under exposed in depending the darkness of the focused object.
For solve that use camera soft button. In this case focus and light will be average for whole pic.
I got my crystal pro on Sunday, overall really happy with it (will be even happier when I get .124 and the improved AOD!) but am noticing a very slight rattle when tapping on certain parts of the screen.
It only happens when I tap the top right part of the screen, it is very minor but is certainly not consistent with the rest of the display. It is the part of the screen that will be sitting adjacent to the rear cameras so maybe it is the camera mechanism? Probably normal but I am kind of OCD about this kind of stuff.
Anybody else noticing this on their pro?
Same here next to the cameras. I thought it's the OIS but my first p30 pro (display issues) didn't do that or i never noticed it!

I can confirm that it is there, and if you tap and listen closely, the sound is originating from the back, so it's most likely the OIS in the cameras.
But it isn't an issue for me, as you have to use some force while tapping it to hear that rattle, using the phone normally with slight taps like I use every other touchscreen device, I can't hear any rattling sound whatsoever.
So, if you have your pop-up selfie camera raised, do you noticed that it's sitting slightly at an angle instead of fully straight?
I notice no issues with the camera's performance or any angled shots but I just see that in the raised position it looks like slightly angled and not fully straight. I think I noticed that in some video reviews as well. When it's down, it sits nice and flush with the body.
Anyone else noticed?
Yes, I have same issue too
i can confirm this.
Mine is fine.
