[Q] Optus Australia - Return to stock problems - One (M7) Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hey there!
First up, here are the results from a getvar all:

I have tried returning to the stock Optus 1.29 here: http://bugsylawson.com/files/file/1831-m7-cwm-nandroid-backup-cid-optus001-129980x/
http://www.htc1guru.com/dld/m7-cwm-nandroid-backup-cid-optus001-1-29-980-x-rar/
After a restore with CWM, I flashed the boot.img included in the download & the recovery but the recovery was a CWM touch build. 16,384KB
So I began a search for stock 1.29 recovery. I ended up using the 'international stock' from this page http://forums.team-nocturnal.com/index.php/topic/1269-recoverym7-ul-stock-htc-one-m7-ul-recoverys/ and I could get into the red triangle exclaimation screen.
I then did fastboot oem lock and on restart the phone says *** Security Wairning *** (plus the usual Tampered, Relocked) and I can't get into recovery.
I tried to use revone instead but kept getting -1 for error code when it came time to do the S-off and Unlock (So I gave up)
Can anyone please point me in the right direction here?
Thanks in advance

Looks like someone had the same issue. Found good results here. The stock recovery worked.

1.29.401.13 no getting ota updates

Hi,
I had my phone on a custom rom and decided to revert back to a stock rom to receive ota's again.
Im dutch sow i have a cid HTC__E11.
I had to downgrade my bootloader so i used revone s-off an flashed the ruu (PN07IMG_M7_UL_JB_50_HTC_Europe_1.29.401.13_Radio_4A.14.3250.13_10.33.1150.01_release_316789_signed.zip). After that i uses revone to lock the phone and remove tampered.
After that i reflashed the ruu again to make sure is was completely clean.
everything looks fine, but when i check for updates i wont receive any ota.
Does anybody have an idea how to fix this?

Possible to return to factory (s-on, locked) from 4.4.2, bootloader 1.55?

Hi. I need to return my phone to HTC for repair. Is it even possible to get back to complete factory stock (truly locked bootloader, S-ON, with no tampered/relocked flags)?
I tried relocking with revone, but kept getting "revone failed (error code -1). Posts on another XDA thread said revone didn't work with Android 4.4, nor bootloader 1.55. Is there a thread out there for this? With S-off, I read I could downgrade to bootloader 1.44, then downgrade to Jellybean, then RUU? Not sure this will work, but I'm stuck. Any ideas?

[Q] HTC One Tampered & Unlocked stuck in bootload - HELP!

Hi
My HTC One is stuck on bootload and won't get to recovery.
It says that it's Tampered and Unlocked, and it won't turn on.
I tried to flash recovery with All in one tools, even though it says in the computer that recovery was flashed, it won't get into recovery either way.
Previously it was stuck in boot loop and I tried to flash the stock room from recovery, but it rebooted and that's how it got stuck there..
There is another line in bootload that says "Active cmdline overflow! (1032 Bytes)
Is it bricked? Can I do something to get it back to normal..
Factory reset doesn't work.
Here is a picture of how it looks.. (The last line is not visible)

It doesn't work cos you are on HBOOT 1.57, you need to back flash to HBOOT 1.44 I do believe to fix active cmdline, and to do that you need s-off, basically, you flashed the wrong kernel for your phone and corrupted one of the blocks.
read that whole for a possible fix, you wont beable to do anything with your phone until its active cmd is fixed.

Edit you post and remove your personal info
installing ARHD on you phone is not going to soft brick anything
you probably don't have the correct recovery installed
Flash recovery TWRP 2.6.3.3
http://techerrata.com/browse/twrp2/m7
fastboot flash recovery openrecovery-twrp-2.6.3.3-m7.img
fastboot erase cache
fastboot reboot-bootloader
then sideload this Rom to your phone
http://www.androidrevolution.org/downloader/download.php?file=Android_Revolution_HD-One_31.6.zip
TWRP / Advanced / ADB Sideload - swipe to sideload
From PC adb / fastboot folder
you use
adb sideload name-of-rom.zip
make sure the rom is in the same folder as adb / fastboot
when you done you should attempt to get s-off, being your on hboot 1.44 it should be very easy with Revone or rumrunner or firewater

Remove from your post the imei and serialno!
Download a new TWRP 2.7.1.2 from here. Install it and after a successful install then flash a MD5 checked ARHD in TWRP.
Thank you so much guys, I've installed latest TWRP and the push Andorid Revolution, fixed!

You either wiped /system or formatted /data hence why you can't boot in your OS anymore...
Flashing custom software (recovery, roms, kernels) requires an unlocked bootloader (like you already know) but booting custom softwares also requires an unlocked bootloader, that's why you can't access twrp anymore now that it'S relocked, even if it's still there on your phone.
Flash the 7.19.707.151 RUU, your phone will be back to 100% stock and from there you'll be able to unlock your bootloader again, flash twrp and a rom. There is a sticky thread in the general section (lolliopop ruu collection), you'll find instructions how to flash the ruu there.
