If I seen it then I wouldn't have posted, I couldn't find anywhere if there's a custom recovery
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N900A using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
The answer is No because of the locked bootloader.

ima get some winkin in too lol
To the OP, when they hack the bootloader on our phones we can then start using custom recoveries and ROMs. Nothing but root until then.

Unless Hashcode gets safestrap working then we can flash custom roms but being restricted to the stock kernel. Well, there is a chance for kernels to but this is all still in its infancy.

Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N900A using xda app-developers app
Yea kinda barely noticed...but can u answer my question? ..I see u on drakeys forums so I'm assuming ud know a little something about this
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N900A using xda app-developers app
Yes but you will also need 4.3 boot.img and 4.3 aboot.
Wait! How is safe strap available if we don't have root for 4.4 yet? If I missed something let me know where I can find root.?
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N900A using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
I would assume the only way this can be done is with the kit Kat leak flashed via safestrap with root already injected in

what the new safestrap is for is so you can install mods, tweaks, themes, and etc while already on a pre-root kitkat rom without having to go through odin to get it done

It is only for custom ROMs at this time since we don't have root for both MLG and NC2.

Is there still no root method for stock kk? And if not would it be possible to Odin flash to jb or is the boot loader gonna cause problems with that?

We have no root for 4.4.2 at the moment and you cannot flash back to 4.3 due to locked bootloaders. :banghead:

looks like your using safestra 3.75 on a JB rom, you need the 3.70 safestrap for JB
How can I put the proper version on or put a rom on? Heimdall still is not working

when you boot into safe strap verify what version safestrap is,
if it is 3.75 then you need to install a KK version of rom, if it is 3.70 then you will have to install a JB rom
also what is your goal? keeping Bootloader A2 or getting the latest NC2 which is bootloader A3
I would like the latest. NC2

First try N900AUCUCMLG 4.4.2 KitKat install one click version
then with Odin 3.09 (attached) install N900AATTCNC2_KERNEL.tar.md5.zip Kernel so towel root will work, then install busybox then safestrap 3.75
that should get you going so you can install any custom AT&T KitKat rom
Last option to get you going, but it installes A3 bootloader

I finally got it working thanks everyone
