Auto bluetooth connect

Is there a way for the gg auto reconnect to the phone if it goes out of range and then comes back in range? Not sure it is something I need to do with the gear or the phone itself.
I hate having to manually reconnect my gg.

Mine reconnects automatically. Wonder if it is buried in the settings somewhere.

The problem is not to have Android 4.3
On S4 with 4.2.2 it did not reconnect itself. With 4.3 it does.

it s true: with 4.3, reconnection is done, and, surprise: I can connect my S4 with my gg AND my car at the same time !! (not with 4.2.2) => very useful.

I had no problems with 4.2.2 reconnecting or car, but 4.3 definitely more reliable reconnecting to watch
Thanks guys... Guess I will have to wait for update

You update the watch through gear manager not on the watch itself. The watch gets no data so anything that uses Internet is a no go.

We know this, Look at the screenshot it's in Gear Manager.
I get the same error through the note 3, it would normally say something like all latest updates currently installed, but at the moment the fail error is generated for some reason

Same issue. I'm sure Samsung is aware and sure will worm in next update of gear manager. If not wonder if there was an update for gear, prob wouldn't work

Pairing dualshock 3 problem!

Hi all..
Managed to get this phone on early upgrade as my S4 wifi broke after an update.
Anyway very pleased to see that it can pair a dualshock 3.. I tried this and connected it up and phone recognised it then said Unplug to use wireless..
After unplugging the dualshock it won't pair wireless
Any ideas guys..
Cheers

Do you mean Bluetooth, right? The bluetooth have to be on.

Gear 1 paired w/ Bluetooth at same time on nexus 5 ?

I am aware that you can connect your gear and Bluetooth headset to share with your phone via the gear. However my question is...is this a feature specific to the note 3/Samsung phones? I am on a nexus 5 and am unable to share the connection. Unless I've missed a step can anyone tell me if I can do this on the N5 and if so what the process is? Thank you in advance.

How to use Gear with NON-Android phones

hi, is there any ways that i can use MY Galaxy Gear With my iphone?
i can use it for phone calls by bluetooth connections.
But i would like to have the OPTION to adjust the time and date.
Because there is no GEAR MANAGER APP for iphone.
According to my knowledge , There is no solution to connect Gear to non android phones.
Im interested in this too as switching from s5 to iphone. Can the note tablets run gear manager?

Yes they can. As I don't have a Samsung phone, I'm using my Samsung Tab S in conjunction with the Samsung Gear.
