I've been waiting for this! Thank you so much. Only problem I've noticed is in call I sometimes can't hear the other person but they hear me. A couple questions. Can Facebook be inverted and can I install beats on this ROM (and will it actually work?) Other than that one issue great work!

You will probably need to find an inverted Facebook apk - the Slim team only inverts the Google apps. Not sure about Beats Audio..

Thank you for the info. I tried awesome beats and it seems to work OK. Kick ass ROM bro.

Try Team Blackout, they seem to have the most and most current inverted apps, usually only a week behind the officials updates.

very nice - big fan of this rom! just two small hitches:
edit: probably the biggest bug on this ROM - 1) the external SDCard isn't loaded or read properly... this includes in trying to transfer files via USB cable and also in the gallery "no external storage available"
2) calendar app is not appearing after a fresh flash... i've had this error on other roms; not sure why, but even the latest Gapps flash doesn't add it.
3) play store telling me "this app is not compatible with your version" for a number of apps including xbox live and BBM.... i presume this is because it's 4.3.3?
incompatible apps in play store fixed by downloading the slim gapps here: http://slimroms.net/index.php/downloads/dlsearch/viewcategory/383-addons/downloads
edit2: calendar also appears with the proper app after using the correct slim gapps!
edit3: still getting the incompatible app errors... might need to clear store cache/data.

Open up camera and long press anywhere on the screen. Then once the settings come up go to more settings. Then you will see a little image that resembles a memory card. Click on that and choose SD Card.

I haven't had any of these issues. I installed using a clean ROM slot. I can give you the name of the apps I downloaded if you like. Calendar has always worked for me since installing Slim.

I downloaded cLock from the Slim website and then flashed the .zip. It shows up in the General settings, but after clicking the check mark it doesn't show up on the lockscreen. Is there something special that I'm missing?

I've just installed it on the stock slot and everything seems to work fine until now. It really does have two launchers? If i'm using one the other one will still be consumming resources/battery? BTW, thanks for the rom!
Would love to try it but I use HDMI and the dock daily. :/ There's a partial solution here http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=2082827
Do you think you can implement it in your ROM?
wifi
having trouble getting the wifi to work right- seems to me that the phone thinks it is in the area that i flashed the thing. literally where i was located at the time- has all the wifi spots remembered from that place. it wont connect or re learn any new spots though. any thoughts?

Ladies and gentlemen I am glad to bring you the first ever gingerbread beta of Evervolv for the Droid Incredible! First thing I would like to say is that this rom would not be possible without the CyanogenMod team. I am merely here to bring you how I like my phone setup and give you more options over a base build of the gingerbread genre. My qualifications are inferior to what is required on some of the fixes that were made. Thus I rely on the CyanogenMod Team for their expertise in these fields.
With this being said I'd like to introduce the Evervolv team (the guys who make this rom happen).
bcnice20 (wtf does he do? where is he?? =p, Evo Shift 4G)
milesje (java/android & overall, Evo)
cocide (linux, scripting & overall, Evo, N1)
tpyoknig (web)
deck (noone knows what he does, he's like the evervolv troll, Evo & MT4G)
preludedrew (overall, Evo, Droid Incredible, Hero CDMA, Evo Shift 4g)

This is where i would like to thank all of the donaters to the Evervolv project. Any and all donations are not used for personal use. I have and will only use them for further development. (i.e. Droid incredible, Evo Shift 4G, java and android books). I will be compiling this list and updating it constantly. If you do decide to donate for the furthering of the evervolv project, please leave me your xda ID in the message so I can give you recognition on here.
Your kind sole here.

Alright well it finally built, and booted. Special thanks to ethan.r.besbris for logcatting the original build so i could get it booting! I will update this thread later today/tonight with everything appropriate. This is compiled from source after gingerbread was rolled out to AOSP yesterday. However, this is an alpha and has many items not working. Please be patient, these will get ironed out over a short period. For the question i know will come "What's the difference between this and the other "Dev-Rom's". Nothing so far... but this is compiled from source and can be fixed from there. This is not a port, and will function as a simple bare bones ROM. There is no Google apps just yet (so no contact sync), this will also come with time. I will also be merging gingerbread with the goodies that i started with Evervolv-AOSP (froyo).
With this being said, please feel free to download and get acquainted with gingerbread!
P.S. > Please refrain from posting what doesn't work for a little while. I'm not posting the list of things not working, due to there being quite a few. However, feel free to post anything that will contribute to fixes/temporary workarounds.
Feel free to browse the evo thread, some temp fixes are popping up. I'll be working on this for a good part this weekend. Evo Thread Link
Screenshots will follow later tonight also.
Thanks

Hi people,
I managed to compile and run (yes, run!) cm 10 on our little wildfire. Since I need my phone
currently I can't test a lot myself, if you are interested, you can download and install it from
the link below. Basically eveything works as in ErwinP's cm 9 roms, so many thanks go to
him and all the others working on cm 9 and cm 10 for the buzz.
The ones to download are stripped of some languages and fonts, for the Camera I use
Camera ICS from the play store and it works well, yet without video recording.
I also stripped down the gapps, removed the faceunlock stuff and the Thinkfree live wallpaper,
since /system gets pretty full otherwise. Note, however, that this rom and gapps is untested,
and I would be happy to get some feedback about them.
Now the interesting stuff, download here (finally with the link!):
https://docs.google.com/folder/d/0B0NSiPyMpXaHQlZ5M0FuZUF2VjA/edit
and the sources can be found at https://github.com/bendus
All files can be flashed and used as a rom as they are,
the differences are in the languages that are included:
lang_small - only en, fr, de, it, and es, to save /system space.
lang_full - all languages are there (takes 20 MB more /system space)
And I will only build the lang_small variant unless there is some request
for a lang_full version or I have some time to spare.
version 2013-01-24, changelog see my github, hopefully a little less laggy.
version 2013-01-25, changes:
* changed back to use mdpi locales instead of ldpi since they seem to be more up to date
* removed the Torch and Gallery app, someone please tell me if the Gallery in the older rom
works and I will put it back in.
* additional version with all languages, to be found as ...lang_full...zip the other one
is now called ...lang_small...zip
versions 2013-02-06 and 2013-02-07:
* minor changes, mostly updates from the main cyanogenmod repositories.
* 2013-02-06 includes the local overlay files
* 2013-02-07 just uses the cm overlays, might have some resize issues,
but I am hoping to fix the data usage graph and maybe other things.
versions 2013-02-16 and 2013-02-23:
* updates from the cm repositories
* 2013-02-23: experimental! build which uses different libraries, use at
your own risk (and maybe tell me if it works at all.. )
2013-02-23 does not work so I removed it from the download directory.
version 2013-03-04:
* updates from the cm repositories
* uses the cm7 kernel, so it might break things, please test.
version 2013-03-10:
* updates from the cm repositories
* uses ErwinP's kernel (again)
* uses only cm overlays except an autobrightness fix
New version 2013-03-11:
* updates from cm
* uses ErwinP's ics kernel
* hopefully fixes the large PIN entry screen
New version 2013-04-21:
* updates from cm
* hopefully fixes the audio interference bugs when listening to media
* re-introduced some of the custom overlays from ErwinP
* removed Email, Exchange2, and CMWallpapers from the system apps
to free space on /system
New version 2013-05-04:
* updates from cm
New version 2013-08-01:
* updates from cm
* integrated kernel build, things may or may not work.
* WiFi doesn't work -- it works with the 2013-05-04 build.
New version 2013-08-20:
* updates from cm
* integrated kernel build
* fixed wifi
New version 2013-09-07:
* updates from cm
* "fix" for camera, please test!
* WiFi doesn't work.
New version 2013-10-06:
* updates from cm
* fixed WiFi
* full languages version available as '...-lang_full.zip'
New version 2013-12-23:
* Merry-Christmas-build
* updates from cm
New version 2013-12-26:
* screenshots work but sometimes skewed
* previews in recent apps (related to screenshots) work but also skewed
bugs found so far:
* screenshots don't work perfectly
* gps sometimes takes a long time to start up
* no data usage graph
* no battery usage details
* phone audio and media playback interfere sometimes
* 2013-02-07 build: autobrightness doesn't work

MTD partitions
I never changed mine, so the stock partitions work. Note that /system gets pretty full
with jellybean so 250 MB is already on the low side.
Note 1
This rom is built from the cyanogenmod sources, so please don't ask me to exchange apps,
e.g. the keyboard or the launcher, with non-standard and maybe even closed source ones.
This can be done with user apps from the market, I use the Nova Launcher and sometimes the
TouchPal keyboard myself, but the standard ones, i.e., Trebuchet and latinIME will stay in this rom.
However, some people know how to modify roms, feel free to change whatever apps you don't
like and post the resulting rom.
Note 2
I don't believe in tweaking scripts and unless you really know what you are doing, I would stay away
from them. This is just MHO, but it was asked for a few times and it seems that this supercharger
thing seems to work but I trust the source more.
cheers, bennii.

If it is running, it opens the doors for devs to port JB roms.

hi,
to answer your questions... basically everything *should* work, calling, mobile data, and, yes, wifi.
However, in the latest build I changed some stuff for the compilation to strip the rom down a bit
because otherwise /system gets full, especially with the big gapps.
I could not test these changes myself, so I have to wait for some feedback if I broke some things that way.
I told Erwin to post the link for me, and I sent a pm to some of you. Feel free to post it here, if he
has not done it yet.
cheers, bennii.

Oh a question... There is no problem if I want to revert back to cm9 after trying this one, right?
Hi you all
First I was planning to open a toppic in the development section where this ROM belongs, but I think it is better to start here. Here everyone can interact with Bennii and Bennii with the world, so it normally shouldn't take long before he can open (and maintain) his own post in the development section.
First the general warning: me nor Bennii are responsible for any physical or mental damage caused by this ROM. If you want to flash it, be our guest, but of course it is totally your responsibility! This ROM is based upon my CM9 source for buzz, but all fixes are found by Bennii himself

In this folder you can also find gapps for jellybean.
In priniciple, this ROM is good to use as a daily driver.
Note that this is not the latest CM version available, the latest one is Cyanogenmod 10.1, here we are talking about CM10.
After flashing gapps you system/ will take 250 mb, act accordingly and adjust your mtd partitions. If you don't do it, you'll see strange things like no audio, no lockscreen and/or no working home botton. I have setted up my system partion with 250 and everything works.
Do some optimization: overclock the cpu (691 is safe); disable poppup, dictionary, spelling suggestions and vibration when you type; disable as many window animations as possible; in Trebuchet, tick off merging of the app drawer.
What works
Basicly everything that isn't mentioned with "what doesn't work" or isn't tested yet.
You have a good mobile connection, wifi, gps signal and sound. You can make phone calls withouth a problem. Wifi hotspot is tested and works as well. If you report here, I/Bennii will try to keep up with things that are tested and should work.
Know problems
A lot of things have to be resized
Taking a screenshot doesn't work. This means that also the "recent apps" and the rotation animation give a black screen
The camera is not shown (I think it is because the gallery app force closes, I see that on CM10.1. You can use other camera applications though, like CameraMX. It works, but it is slow - if you come up with a fast alternative, let us know!
Only five languages are available, I have no idea why. Perhaps Bennii trimmed the system partition a bit too much? Either way, you can set language to only English, Deutsch, Español, Français and Italiano.
Sources, open for contribution

Please, people, interact with Bennii as much as possible, so he can share his own ROM in a more appropriate way

I didn't use the recommended gapps, I used the AIO from Slim and I'm having issues. I'll fix it :good:
nice
downloading and about to flash:laugh:
There's a bit of clipping on the stock kernel. Otherwise it's on point. Buhttah So Klean
Look at that stock might just have to flash it to see how the ports working. By the way you might want to include jrongi1 because those GPS changes were his if you used em

You're right, Wi-Fi isn't working. I'll look into this and see what I can come up with. Sorry everyone, I know it was working before in the first update. The only thing I can think of, is that it's an issue with the new CyanogenMod kernel. I'll do some troubleshooting and get back with you guys.
Probably should've checked this last night, right after making the kernel switch. Guess I made kinda made a... N00B ...mistake. Huh?
Edit: Yup, it's a kernel issue. If you're running the first SuperNexus 4/7/13 build, I suggest against updating to build4-update1 for the moment. If you've already updated, flashing the Semaphore kernel will fix the Wi-Fi issue. When I get home I'll look into solving the CyanogenMod kernel issue, but for now, stick with Semaphore. All be good with Semaphore.
Edit 2: Fixed the WiFi issues, checkout build4-update2. :good:

True, however, I believe I've solved the issue with the CyanogenMod kernel. After a lot of trial and error, I narrowed down the culprit to the modules folder. After some research and a little mo' trial and error, I was able to find the module that needed to be swapped out.
Expect an update sometime tonight... With workin' WiFi baby! Aw yeah! :victory:
Update 2 out! Let the WiFi workz once more!
Just uploaded Update 2 (link in the OP), which should have working WiFi. Please let me know if any issues with WiFi still persist. If there aren't any issues, well, all I can say is...
Thanks everyone and enjoy!

cannondaleV2000 seems pretty eager to port it for you, so that's an option. Another option would be for me to type you up a guide on porting ROMs to your device (shout-out to skinzy98 and jrongi1). Either way works for me. If you're interested in the guide, don't hesitate to PM me.
Anyhow, I believe we may be getting semi off-topic. So, to get back on topic, I gotta ask... Is that WiFi a "hell to the yeah" everybody?

The 9-05 build: Installed clean. Runs very smooth. Also, camera works fine, video works fine on it. Other 4.3's have had problems with video recording, but didn't get any errors here.
First problem was with Holo launcher HD. Tried using this first, but "Unfortunately holo launcher has stopped". Trebuchet worked OK.
Main issue has been errors with google apps. Used the gapps linked, also had a copy already on sd card, a lot of "unfortunately the process com.google.process.gapps has stopped", "unfortunately the process com.google.process.location has stopped", google account manager has stopped" etc. It is acting as if it were a wrong gapps version, but its not, its the 8-13-2013. Everything works, just errors.
I could reliably cause this when changing wifi networks. Here is a logcat while changing network and forcing the error.

Thanks for the information. Holo launcher should work fine after it updates through google play. If it does not then again, let me know. I'll look at the logcat (and probably send it to smarter people for a second opinion too). Very busy with school these next two weeks, please give me some time
One thing you could try is to use slim gapps from slimBean....I know it sounds weird, but it's fixed problems in the past for me
slim gapps here if your interested

OK, clean build using PA gapps (full), and things seem better. One error on setup but for an hour or so now, no gapps errors. Running pretty smooth, will give more feedback later as it happens.
Camera video doesn't work after the first one, same as other 4.3's.

Have you tried third party apps from play store.....I think video cam illusion is what we always used on miui....(or something like that)
No. Didn't work. I have found no camera app that will work consistently on 4.3 ROMs. Thx anyway.
There is going to be a fix in the new build for the gapps fc issues. Give me some time to get a build out.

FAQ:
Q Does this ROM support Xposed?
A No, Xposed is a hack that is geared towards AOSP, custom ROM's modify the framework a lot, so Xposed can cause a ton of issues on custom ROM's. Now it might work for you, however it is not to be disscused in this thread, and you should refrain from posting bug reports while using it as Xposed can cause a lot of bugs.
Q Alright, but I still want to flash Xposed, so which version do I need to install?
A Use the version arm sdk 23.
Q Can I have an ETA for the next build?
A If I have one I will probably give it to you, don't ask for one though, it is very rude to do this.
Q Do I need to provide a log if I'm reporting a bug?
A If you want it to be fixed faster (or at all) then yes, you should definitely provide a log.
Q I installed a bad theme and now I'm getting a bootloop, how do I fix it?
A In TWRP go to Mounts & check System then go to the Advanced tab & use the File Manager to delete the bad Layers from system/vendor/overlays, or you can just delete the overlays folder.
Q Can the builds be dirty flashed over each other?
A Yes, however make a nandroid first as there is a chance of getting a bootloop or encountering bugs, also bugs may only be reported on a clean flash.
Q How do I get a logcat, and what type should I get, and more questions that can conviently be answered by my pre-determined answer?
A Read this thoroughly.

Bro, in loving this ROM, but I'm actually liking the brokenOS,, not sure why, I just like it. Both ROMs are super fast. One thing, the weather widget doesn't show my location, it's stuck on a preset location 5 miles down the road, no biggie, but a fix would be awesome, thanks for your hard work... Also I was never a big fan of layers, I'd always get some apps would show certain things black on black. I bought the spectrum theme and I'm loving the layer option.

Ok. For the weather, i took WeatherProvider.apk and cLock.apk from temasek cm13 just because i knew that one worked installed them in there respective places, then after an art and cache wipe, placed the cLock widget on my homescreen, and boom!!! Found my location!! I noticed yahoo weather has to be selected

Could you upload the two apk's somewhere? I could make a flashable zip that would install them. I'll also see if I can include them in the ROM by default.

https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B_c2hdjSBKMAeXlJVlJoZ1J2T00/view?usp=docslist_api I did a clean install and tried to flash these right after the rom. But it didn't work..... it did work when I place them where they belong with a Root browser open up the zip and the apps are in their respective folders, place them there manually and it should work I did cache and Dalvik wipe also. You can't click on the clock app directly you have to place the widget on your home screen and adjust the weather settings from there. At least that's how i got it to work

The BrokenOS team doesn't allow any BrokenOS ROM threads to be on XDA, and XDA doesn't want them on it either because of a certain anti XDA wall that's in the ROM. Thanks though, you can also say thanks to the broken team in their Google plus community, we shouldn't discuss broken in this thread though.

I never really use that feature to be honest, if I ever do want weather info I just use Google now. Unless if you're asking about the flashable zip, in which case: I am working on it.
Just seeing if it works on your device as well, i service swimming pools in vegas, it's nice to know when it's 115° in part of the town and then 120°in the other??

As a member of the BrokenOS team I am here to explain to you why @mosimchah can't and won't create a BrokenOS thread.
BrokenOS isn't on XDA for 3 reasons.
1. We like to handle users rougher than XDA will allow.
2. When we allowed unofficial threads on XDA they gave out misinformation about the ROM including but not excluding: ROM base, features, and apps.
3. Due to past issues and politics of XDA we include certain wallpapers which make XDA mods mad, so the ROM is banned until those wallpapers were removed. We refused to remove a part of the ROM to please a select group. This resulted in a ban of BrokenOS, until an annoying drama happen recently with an unofficial device maintainer decided to remove the wallpaper app causing issue with the ROM. So making history, our lead developer, Ken and senior mods made a mutual deal to get out of each other's hair and XDA agreed to remove all official and unofficial threads of BrokenOS so that we as a team would quit pestering them.
BrokenOS now restricts who can build BrokenOS and since @mosimchah is a friend he is allow to post unofficial builds in the broken community and only in the broken community.
