[Wallpaper] XDA Developers wallpaper from XDA TV

Hi there,
After watching another episode of XDA TV I wondered if I could create a wallpaper from a still from the video. All I did was add some blur, recognize the font and retype the text, but as I was very pleased with the result I'm happy to share it.
PS: I'm not sure whether the wallpaper has been uploaded before by the original creator, but if so please remove this thread.

Looks good, a vertical version would be nice but you'd probably need the original assets to make a decent one.

That's true. But if you mean a 480x800 wallpaper, you can try to crop the wallpaper showing only 'XDA'. That's what I did for my HTC Touch HD...

[SPLASH] Broken Screen

Hi everyone
This is just an experiment yet. What do you think of it? I was planning to make a set, this, a boot animation and a down animation too. Inspired by another splash screen (I think Mike1986's).

Thanks. Do you think I should bother making a boot animation and down animation?
EDIT: I've actually got some other ideas for the same kind of thing (but much better than this) so I think I will continue with the project in my spare time.

+1 Nice one mate, i already made this as my splash screen with the Android Flasher & resized the pic first to 480x800 with Photoshop, cheers again

Yep it was an experiment and I didnt like it too much. I thought somebody else might like it so I put it up lol
Lots of schoolwork right now so it might be a while before I make the animations lol

Weird I have no idea...Sorry that's a bit beyond me...
I know the bigger widgets say 'Tablet' in the description so maybe there's 2 diff versions? I'm not seeing that in market though..

For some reason any picture I try to make my background gets zoomed in and looks like junk on ICS. Previously I had used Multipicture live wallpaper to solve this, but that doesn't seem to work anymore.
Any ideas?

How do you use the whole image as the background? Mine always wants to crop and I get a blurry zoomed in wallpaper.
Edit: Actually I can't even get it to fill the whole screen now for some reason. Lol. Guess my Xoom is a bit temperamental.

That is correct the game is Monument Valley and you can take screenshots of the puzzles in the game and make them your wallpaper.
