I would like to request someone to please post the stock/modded camera app for Android version 2.3.6 Gingerbread that is compatible with AbyssNote Kernal ver. 4.2 Final please. The current one I have has issues with focusing while in video capture mode. The camera wont focus whether recording or not. In still captures, though, manual and autofocus works just fine. I tried seaching around for compatible ones, but the ones I come across are for different android versions or for different Samsung phones, which result in screwed up camera UI.
Alternatively, if anyone can guide me to fixing the focusing issue, that would also be great!
(Unless it so happens that the Galaxy Note's stock camera app doesn't support video focusing at all, which would suck big time.)
Thanks.
Hi all, I've got an HTC one M7 and recently I've decided to update its firmware to : 6.09.401.11 , and after that flashed HTC Android revo 83.1 . Everything was ok until I've tried to record a video with the sock camera app, the video start recording as usual, but then after stop recording, I saw the video was saved with pretty bad colors, like purple , green and magenta... , then i've downloaded and tried Google camera app , tried recording again and everything was ok. So I guess there is a problem with the stock camera app...
I've uploeaded the video to youtube: www . youtube. com/watch?v=UtafU5be3Hs&list=UUJIFa_s23OFbzj1jndUypdA
Here is a captured frame of the video.:
I have colors and overlapping distortion video as well

Saw this today.
I am experiencing the same thing with my video.
HTC One m7, Sprint
5.03 firmware recently installed
Running ViperOne 7.0.1 ROM (great ROM!)
I not only see the distorted colors but it also looks like there is a 2nd image (duplicate) that is shifted and has all the weird colors.
I only see this when I replay the recording. This doesn't appear while capturing.
Good thing is I don't use my video capture much but when I do it would be nice if it worked.
thanks
rick
Any luck in resolving this? I'm on ARHD 84.0 and have the same problem!
I just noticed that I have the same problem.
No issues here. Random667 what ROM/Kernel configuration are you using?
Stock roms work fine for D415. Any CM12/12.1 ROM or ROMs based on those has an issue where the rear camera is unable to change the focus. Far pictures look so-so, the quality suffers, but anything up close is blurry and horrible. Can't read most text from pictures.
I'm pretty sure it is a known issue and only affects D415 but I'm hoping someone smarter than me can take a shot at fixing it. This thing with CM12.1 is my daily driver otherwise, but picture quality has become super important since I started needing to do CamScanner docs for work.
Hey did anyone notice, that the photo sharpness settings were removed in the new update, that came a few days ago?
It's really noticable how worse the pictures look. Does anyone have the old camera apk? Or have any workarond?
Also I noticed occasional lag in Asphalt 9 (maybe throttling?).
Cheers for the answers!
Hello, my girlfriend is experiencing blurry photos (see attachment) like if there is fog. Her phone (Mi 9 Lite) has stock ROM and stock camera application.
The lens is not scratched. In your opinion, what can cause such problem. Is that fixable?
Thank you
