What is Pure AOSP?
Basically, that's just fully source built Android Open Source Project ROM. No custom features, no modifications. Just completely debloated to provide fast and totally stock experience.
Features
Android 4.3.1
JLS36I
TARGET DEVICE=MAKO
Stock kernel
Debloated
GCC 4.7 optimizations
245 DPI
Root
Downloads
<MODERATOR EDITED - ROM DOESN'T BOOT>
Installation
Wipe data
Flash ROM
Flash GApps
Flash SuperSU
Reboot
FAQ
What kernel should I use?
JSS/JSL (just not JWR, right?)
Can you add feature XYZ?
No, read the description of the ROM.
So that's basically stock ROM, yes?
Not really, it's fully debloated which means "without unnecessary apps"
ZOMG, why so washed out colors?
Flash custom kernel, no gamma/calibration in the stock one
Is the ROM compatibile with custom kernels like franco?
Sure, no stupid Code Aurora Forum patches there, just pure AOSP
Why custom DPI?
Nexus 4 has quite big screen with decent resolution so why not see more?
Anyway, feel free to ask any question in the thread, I really like helping others

ROM doesn't boot and no response from the OP so thread is closed and moved out of Development until further notice.

Hi, this is my first thread on XDA so please expect no further things.
I have successfully ported a working Paranoid Android 2.99 ROM from our big brother HTC Pico to our little device:good::laugh:

great work .
What happens when you try to apply another ui?
Nothing, I have tried it to change the UI's but after a reboot it shows again the Tablet UI, so it doesn't change to another UI.
Only TabletUI.

to compile this rom you must use:
Code:

evervolv/ frameworks/av
evervolv frameworks/native
the kernel source should be added to
Code:
~/home/your-username/cm11/kernel/htc/ -kitkat-
basic understanding of compiling android is neccesary to succesfully build this code.
special thanks to:
SZEZSO: for his initial work in kitkat for 7x30 devices

Oh fun. Another ROM to test. Looking forward to this. Even though the browser stuff is not working. The app I'm using (Amuse) is showing that animated gifs are working. Once the browser issue is fixed it'll be interesting to see if it still works.
Onejay, I'm loving what you're doing with the development. What differences are there between the evervolv ROM and the CM ROM?
Oh, forgot to mention that the gapps failed install after Evervolv install. I installed the 1-11 gapps kitkat.
Still going. Ringtone not working either.
Another kitkat ! Awesome !
I'll test this ROM soon

The KitKat g_apps from the first post?
All will be fixed in v2
This was just a test release lol
Evervolv is a bit smaller in size and supports older devices
Please report if Bluetooth works in this ROM properly coz I know people were complaining about issues with reconnecting etc in cm.

Do not install Gapps.Install only the apps you need.
Bloatware has been removed as much as possible. It is very stable too.Give me suggestions on making this even better (if you want any app added or removed).I will try to add more roms to the slim series in future if you people want them.

Welcome to EOS! The EOS project originated with the AOSP release of ICS, and was originally founded by Solarnz and co founded by Bigrushdog. Since then, EOS has evolved into a multinational collaborative effort backed by top Android developers. Our objective is to provide a world class AOSP build with unique features and enhancements. EOS is an ongoing development project in which builds are released on a regular basis. Feature request are not guaranteed, but always welcome. Every release should be considered stable and highly functional.
Special thanks to AOSP of course for providing open Android source,
CyanogenMod, and anyone who has contributed to our cause.
https://androidfilehost.com/?fid=24269982086997423
Because this is an AOSP based ROM, Google Apps are not included. Flash the gapps of your choosing after you flash the ROM. If you need help finding a gapps package, ask any of us and we'll be happy to help
These builds are designed to be installed from your favorite recovery. MAKE SURE YOU HAVE THE LATEST 6.0 COMPATIBLE RECOVERY.
Detailed instructions:
Going to EOS 6.0 from another ROM:
Boot to recovery
BACKUP YOUR CURRENT SETUP!!!
Make a full wipe (Dalvik, Dalvik Cache, System, Data)
Flash the ROM
Flash optional kernel if you choose to not use provided kernel **We DO NOT support outside kernels**
Flash gapps
Reboot
Updating from an older EOS build to new EOS build:
You can usually skip the full wipe step and just wipe both caches. If ever you encounter an issue make sure you make a full wipe first before reporting it. This is what most call "Dirty Flashing". Normally this doesn't cause problems, but keep in mind a clean flash is always the best way to go.
