Very Good ROM
hello, as I am trying fanaitc all ROMS for my AHD, this could not be the exception.
I tried this rom for the last 5 hours. My comments:
- Stable without fail so far.
- Good use about 300-400 MB free memory on average.
- Fast
- The battery - will comment later.
- Wifi APN fully functional.
- Voice Recognition fully functional with google now.
Small problem solved.
- During a call would crash with black screen - Fixed with Atrix_HD_Proximity_Sensor_Fix.zip.
I continue with the test and I will be commenting later.

I have noticed that when no one answers questions about hdmi, this is a great feature that you do not have to disposition in this rom. the question is, because it has been developed? or are not important?

A little of both. On the AHD with 4.3 roms, hdmi works going to my 1080p tv but not the lapdock. There is an hdmi overscan issue on tv's, but my tv can compensate for it so it doesn't matter for me. I don't think any of our kernel devs use hdmi devices.
If you want a good hdmi experience then install ICS with fastboot. Our ICS is awesome and has all the necessary settings for hdmi built in.

Really surprised by this rom actually. Excellent memory management, the split view is awesome. Battery could be better of course but overall, excellent build.

Love this ROM however I can't get the proximity sensor fix to work for me. Even after the .zip posted on page 1 any ideas elsewhere? Thanks in advance

So basically everything is working (somehow and somewhat hehe)
EXCEPT
- Project Butter

Howto: Reporting Bugs
Don't ever report something without a logcat!
If it's a hard reboot - Add a /proc/last_kmsg
If your RIL is crashed or you doesn't get connection at all - Add a logcat -b radio
Additional information like "howto reproduce" etc would be nice too
Thanks!

Notes:
Benee won't make daily builds, only occasional ones if he fixes major bugs.
But you currently got 3 more options of CM10 builds, which are all based on CM10 hackfest:
Kashamalaga builds which are clean source builds:
Kashamalaga Nightlies
XXMrHyde builds have some additions:
[Rom-Preview][CM10]XXMrHyde`s Experimental CM10
my own builds of ParanoidAndroid:
[ROM][CM10] ParanoidAndroid v2.1 Hackfest JB alpha
Gapps JB package: http://goo.im/gapps/gapps-jb-20120726-signed.zip
The HwaSettings app is included. Use it to disable the (broken) hardware accelleration for certain apps which makes problems.
Examples are the stock Browser and Facebook - both apps crash on rotation. By disabling hwa this gets "fixed"
The version 9.9.9-JB is intended.
Notes about providing proper feedback:
As benee said, don't even try to post bugreports without proper logs
Ehrm... if you didn't do a full wipe before coming to CM10 you're not allowed to post bugs at all.
[Tutorial] How To Logcat
To get the last_kmsg use e.g this command from Terminal Emulator: cat /proc/last_kmsg > /sdcard/last_kmsg.txt
Bug reports without logcats and/or kernel messages will be ignored completely

memory fix zip, 98zram, line 16 needs double parenthesis ?

Confirmed, all essential feature work great, I have the 'airplane on/off to have phone network' issue but not a big deal.
Congrats, as usual tremendous work.
Guys, for those not knowing it, on JB:
-internal sdcard is /storage/sdcard0
-external is /storage/sdcard1
Backward compatibility whith old paths is there.
(At least a bit or harmony...)
60 fps
Tell me, are there 60 fps in the interface?
Using it now and it's suprisingly stable enough considering it's status.. Can playback video using mx and can usb tether in ubuntu.. Great work! Though I find it strange that the camera app was lost automatically, I dont know what happened when in fact i just tried it and it was working then. The torch also is having fcs. But overall its fast and great!

can you test and flash http://www.mediafire.com/?z6mlyr196r9ay69 and see if it fixes network issue ?
it's a framework.jar with my commit https://github.com/vork/android_frameworks_base/commit/1435afd
if it fixes it, that's great.
if the issue persists or worsens, radio logcat could help me figure it out.

basically the difference to maclaws n mine ones is, that the version of maclaw is messed up withh different mods!
like reboot menu option, sound instead of camera toggle on lockscreen! and this is a clean almost bugfree version of clean aosp without any modifications ^^

Indeed. I've tried MacLaw's version and you can tell it's all messed up. Not to mention it has multiple bugs (for eg., native USB/Wifi tethering, Wifi direct and VPN are not working). And battery drains a lot (it doesn't even last a day!...).
So thank you OldDroid for compiling a clean AOSP ICS :good:

Nice Rom OldDroid :good: keep making builds please.
Seems better than Mcdredd's.
I found some minor issues (that are happening to me anyways), other than the ones you mentioned.
1) Android is slow when installing apps
2) Netflix app - > video's do not play video (black screen), but yet I hear sound...also I can see the video when I skip
3) You said Automatic Screen Brightness is working...its not. (Don't think it can on the ace, can it?)
4) Compass is wrong, and very 'jumpy'
5) Second boot logo Gio GT-S5660
Hope this helps.
btw Fixed-Int2ext4+-Android-4.2.1.zip working for me. (mount system & sdcardext before install)

So after a day of testing :
- this ROM is one of the smoothest I tried, I didn't find one lag, the UI is fluid and the transitions between two different apps is amazing.
- battery life is really good, I'm using Optimus Prime 2.53 and deep sleep is good.
- everything works : baseband, network, WiFi... I didn't try NFC and Bluetooth.

This has multilanguage support, and it supports emoji as well.
Do NOT use LBE Guard app, use Permissions app in Security folder.

This has multilanguage support.
I have been using this ROM for a couple of days, and everything seems to be working.
I also added emoji support, but the smileys are in black and white, unlike the official version.
nice ..downloading will try the Rom and will report with the feedback.
Flashed and perfect except one big problem: Gallery and Music doesnt recognise external sdcard files
And another problem: Slide down Music app icon, and also Notes icon; they FC.
External Sdcard problem solved by itself. Or just me clicked refresh button in Music folder.

Oh, i forgot about that.
External sdcard is recognized in file manager, though.
woah! Finally someone has done it!
Must have taken a lot of work, well done! I haven't used MIUI in a while, is the animation still frequently laggy when say... using any of the fancy desktop transition effects? Or when opening and closing folders containing lots of apps?
Thanks in advance :good:
i am downloading now too excited.. so wifi direct is working wow good job m8..
one question is there anyway with 3rd party app to have video calls over 3g?(no through wifi like skype or vider..)

It's acting weird. Sometimes works sometimes FCs. I'm ok with it now Thanks a dozen mate for this awesome AOSP Miui Rom.
Is it just me or everyone's Signal icon is at minimum even if it's in full range?
Sent from my GT-I9300 using xda premium
I might have fixed the signal strength bug, if it works, it will be included in the release this friday.

I think it no problem, it happens perhap with 4.3
Can you also provide a solution about led blinking when battery is low thing? In original Miui there is extra settings about phone but with Aosp this can't be shot down.

Is there a setting for this in the latest CM 10.1 ROM? If there is, i can try to port using CM.
Just downloaded and installed this ROM.
I now realize how much I've missed MIUI
Thanks @datagutt , MIUI 4.2.2 have been greatly missed for our S3.
It seems I have a tough choice ahead of me….-stay with 10.2 or revert back to 10.1 and MIUI
Will let the ROM settle for some days and see.

So many roms indeed! Development is definitely moving a lot faster than it first did on the S4. I'm in heaven. Thanks to all the devs involved
oh yeah, i almost forgot this
Very very nice! Any bugs to report on this ROM? I know it's the first version I just want to know if anything is broken at the moment that I can live without. DL'ing soon!

Haven't found anything that doesn't work yet. Don't switch to interactive governor, lags like hell. I really can't believe the amount of customization, EXCELLENT work Team OSE
And before anyone says it, the signal bars on cm/aosp based report differently than stock. The dBm is the same but it will report less bars.

this rom is awesome!
just flashed this a half hour agp and i'm loving it so far. Don't let the purple put you off anyone who may be because it comes full black and the purple is only turned on if yo uwant it that way. And of course we always have theme manager
This rom is wonderful though, tons of features, runs smooth and seems to work so far
I haven't tested much yet but wanted to get on here to say how awesome this rom is.

rom is fantastic!
Ok I'm really loving this rom, it's running smooth and has features I've been looking for.
One bug report is swyping with the stock keyboard makes it close. This isn't a problem for me because I use swype.
Another thing I had is the play store force closed when I scrolled really fast...though the scrolling is super smooth!
I also dont have a camera app which I'm assuming comes with gapps. I flashed the one from september but also have the one from august. I didn't click on the link provided for gapps in the op so ignore this if i'm just a noob and need to leanr to do things right Is this just a matter of flashing the proper gapps to get the camera and gallery? I know it's an easy fix so I'm not concerned
PS and BTW: knock on works perfect! I had many situations where knock on would not work very well at all on my phone with it stock but knocck on works perfect everytime now on this rom. I have recreated every situation where on stock it would fail to knock on and on this rom (and i'm guessing all the AOSP based roms) it's working perfect. Hopefully the knock off feature will get fixed and things will be glorious!
GPS works perfect! instant lock!
tethering works! on it right now!
I'm assuming everything else works...this is my new DD! Thanks so much devs! amazing rom!
Was the stock camera removed? I am unable to find it.
