what is this new battery manager?

Hey guys i am using clean note v4.0 (4.0.4 lrk ) which is based on stock rom and no additional mods or nothing so this feature i am asking about should be stock too. Okay so when i went into my default stock task manager which comes with touchwiz I did my usual exit all apps and clear memory but then when i went into storage i saw two new options at the bottom and new battery section under storage in task manager. It had two options start monitoring and stop monitoring. Well i just wanna point out one more new feature in this 4.0.4 update but posted it in Q&A section as i really dont know what it actually does and how to see what it does, i mean from to see what is it monitoring and all? also it shows something in notifications bar when clicked on start battery monitoring! Below are two screenshots of it.
Okay guys more intel on this, i found two files related to this(atleast thats what i think so) named as batt_xxxxxx and cpu_xxxxxx in the internal sd card having some info and some techie stuff as i dunno what exactly it was. I would have uploaded it but it had the usage info and everything so i didnt upload it.

Yep guys i know about it but do you think people here at xda would find something new and wont be curious about it ....
Actually just wanted to know about it......but its alright.

I assume it will create log files for analysis which can be used in the development of new apps / ROM's etc

I have just flashed my ACE with the Droid ACE v2 , from the thread "[ROM] [Update 18.08.2012] [Faster Than Ever] Droid ACE v2 Bugs fixed[FireKernel OC] and it is Awesome...Performance and battery life is Extremely well. However, I have some issues with it...and hope you guys can help me on this (I can't post the question inthe original thread yet...sorry abt that)
My issue is, I can't get the call to "Ring" its always in Silent mode, and always vibrate. I have tried couples of way, like set in the profile, differnt Ring Tone but it just still vibrate. Is anyone here can share with me where is the correct way to set it ? Appreciate it .

i also have a problem with my 3g,H,. i dont have them since i flashed my cooper with this rom.. or any cm7 roms? how to fix this?

check the System Volume (It's like the master volume) there is a feature for this in Android Asistant.

Anyway .. I did a re-flashed again .. yesterday .. and now it WORKED ...:silly: .. and now .. I have new problem . I slot in an 32GB micro SD and use CWM to partition it (2GB) ..then ..now my SD card only left 30 GB.. is there anywhere that I can checked if that 2GB already being used for anything in my phone ?

Hi,
One thing you should always try is reflashing the rom after turning completely off the phone. Most of the problems related to features missing are related with problems flashing or data left on the device and sometimes (do not know why) when just rebooting the phone partitions are left mounted.

The idea of making a partition from CWM is to prepare the SD to use one of the memory extender scripts and that will not be usable from the normal environment.
Depends on the script to show the total amount of memory on the place where you can see the total memory left on the system.

Alright. I have a working phone remover. The deny signal is gone. The phone stuff is gone. Only problem is the device reboot when trying to bring up the power menu. So I guess we can't remove mobile data from the settings. Unless I or someone from here can figure something out. Anyways, now I''ll try to add flare effect and fix the mic and stuff.

Please try add ro.carrier=wifi-only to build.prop, NEXT kernel will stop 2 phone related daemon on boot.

Alright, I made my own version of the blackhawk 4 update annnnnnd... mic still doesn't work. @ketut.kumajaya. I think 4.2.2 uses some different files for mic.

Any error with sync app & calendar?

For me everything went well. Realy smooth and fast. But first time i tried to delete some of the things i don't use from system/apps(nothing that i don't usually delete) TW FCs....will try again with only freezing. Ty for your good work

Not working on 3100
on Booting the message "android.phone" has stopped and "android.gapps" has stopped pops every second. Cant even get through the setup process.
Procedure which i followed was from cm 10.1.2
Wipe data-> wipe cache->wipe dalvik->install rom->wipe cache->wipe dalvik and reboot.
going back to cm now.

I have the P3113 and simply go into systemui.apk and remove all signal icons. I also remove all the battery icons simply because I prefer the bat %. I know this does not remove the phone stuff itself but it does get rid of the icons in the Noti bar without any errors.
Not the best way but it works.

try formatting /system and /data before you flash the ROM (just be sure you have a nandroid backup, ofc ^_^)

[HELP][PORT] Carbon 4.4.2

Hi, I need your help: So I tried to port the Carbon Rom from Samsung Galaxy S3 mini [4.4.2], and everything worked with porting, but:
When I rebooted the phone, it was "Optimizing apps", so it loads all Apps and then I got to the end of the process "Android is upgrading", here is the problem, the phone stucks at this step and if I try to shut the phone down, it stucks in bootloop ... then I have to clear Dalvik and Chache again and "Optimizing apps"-process starts again with the same result (stucks at Android is updating -Starting Apps)... hope for help
And I think I can't take logcat because I can't get into settings, to activate USB Debugging -.-

Like the pic in attechments; to the pic: this process wich is showed in this picture ends succesfully and then the phone stucks during Android is upgrading -Starting apps.

It's based on Maclaws build -he made one fully working- I mean a fully working CM 11 build for our phone (not released)

Yes you can, try to port again. And add this line into build.prop.. persist.service.adb.enable=1, persist.service.debuggable=1 and persist.sys.usb.config=mtp,adb

This rom is simply perfect,the best i ever tried on SP i have two questions .....
1 - can i install the fix immediately,after the installation and reboot of the rom?i mean without the settings of first boot?
2-It's normal that every boot show the message "upgrade of android" for two or 3 seconds and disappear?

Gives error and better wait for later to start the rom does not create conflicts and thus avoids bootloping

I have done wipe cache,factory reset, wipe dalvik. still this message appears at every reboot

in my case stamina mode dont work and system UI always force close when pluged in PC how to fix that?

Friend and normal and it's great to have this function for optimizing their applications as soon as your system starts ... and that means that clearing the cache of apps thus leaving the boot faster and freeing up more memory. do not worry this and normal and efficacious

Everytime i have reboot my phone. android is upgrading alway pop up and 200+ is upgrade and repeat again in every reboot. How to fix ? Thank

Friend this is normal and is good for the system of cell it clears the cache of the apps causing the boot faster and opens apps faster too. The odex rom and then it is a benefit. Thanks

this only occurs when you try something via adb, I'm looking for a more still have not found solution and did not have anyone help me ... still searching deeper to find out how to fix it. sorry and thank you
