I have CM7 nighties, so there is camera app, so you suggest me to use that app for filming? It film pretty good, but I am able to film just 30 in HD quality. can I extend that time? like one hour or two hours?
I tried LG camera pro app. it has a lot of options to capture picture and capture video. But I notice that when I capture video auto focus is not working, not on lg camera pro and no on camcorder (stock cm7) , just focused at beggining and then no focus ;( could it be cm7 bug?
It's not a bug of cm7 is a bug of the app.. However are you sure that with stock camera you can register up to 30 minutes?

i really ot tested but in quality section is written HD (30m)
Those written have nothing to do with the maximum recording time, the only limit is the free memory in your device

ok then But I still looking for solution about autofocus... because its not working for me while I taking video
For autofocus I don't know.. maybe is a cm bug, you should expect a fix for your rom or flash a stable version (7.2)

Hi there, while moving in YouTube I found that the HOX and Note2 aren't the first phones to record slow motion videos, if fact, the wave 1 (bada running platform ) could do that, and if you think about it, the S1 and wave 1 has the same hardware, so can you Dev team brought that, even the iPhone has an app make that possible, I hope you discuss that, thx.
Can you rate my English, out if 5 ?

Oh i see, thank you for the video
First of all, we will need to incrase the fps of video recording i think, then we could make it
We will need like 80-120 FPS, then we can do it
We will need a hard-working developer to it :3
I think droidjam can look at it (if he have free time)

My old Samsung s8000 had that option too, and it was running touchwiz 2.0
To do that, it records at 120 fps and at a resolution of 320x240;
It really is a great feature so I would apreciate if someone can bring it to our S1 too.
There is an android app that simulates that feature (videocam illusion) but it isn't as smooth as the s8000 version...
Yeah I'm pretty interested in this too. Developers should certainly look into working on stuff like increased framerate recording and manual focusing
Is there any way to enable autofocus in video recording(camera app/kernel/rom changes)? I think hardware is capable because it can autofocus when taking pictures and that only software is limiting it. Any suggestions?

Atm i dont think we are able to auto focus in video recording.

Use lgCamera, but be careful with the bitrate setting. The focus won't be automatic, but it will be touch focus.

Samsung didn''t put many things on the stock ROM... not buying my next phone from them, unless I have the money for a flagship.
Anyway, remember, be very careful with the video bitrate setting as phones tend to choke on big videos... even OG S3 skipped frames on me on a 20 Mbps video.
Does anyone know an app or something ing to improve sound quality on our device? The musicfx app that we have is absolute crap and you can't change the settings unless your in the lg music player. Anyone know another app or equalizer to replace it so that we have good sound quality with ALL apps. Its a shame having to go from amazing sound from Poweramp to watching a video and the audio being complete **** and bland.

This is a new camera application from Lenovo flagship set with maximum number of features including HDR.
"Lenovo Smart Camera software means enabling intelligent smile correction, auto face 'make-up' editing effects, and auto-exposure mode "
I'm amazed by the quality of the camera. Takes sharp and good pictures than our stock camera also no yellow/pink tint and smooth video recording and now that's what I call 1080p full hd
and also gallery has lot of editing features like beauty , special effects and I love gif creator.
All you say is wow after installing this app.
( If you don't know about lenovo flagship set " It is the device with 13mp camera with 1080p display and is powered by Intel".
MOD EDIT: links removed for the use of AdFly
Note pls download the .apks provided by me from the above link, which doesnot require any bad permissions.
The .apks provided in the middle of this thread by other members asks for some permission and I won't be responsible if you instal that file.
Thanks Good application :thumbup::thumbup:

Woah, it is sharp as mentioned and much lower noise than our Sony camera app. However, I couldnt find the setting to make it 16:9. May not be that big an issue, can always crop using editor. But the main thing is, this app by a china company interestingly beat the Japanese in terms of software.

Thank you very much.
Burst and panorama modes not working on xz.
None of the effects work, keeps force closing

only setting to 16:9 in 1080p resolution, don't have 9 mpx
i like this app because it is better than stock camera app, more effect and more details
A cimplete port for this and if all function is working...this would be a masterpiece which break the stock camera...this app is amazing

Too buggy right now on CM10.2
Looks good, but all effects crash the app. Focal on the other hand is light weight, good, and fast.
Picture quality really is awesome =)
we need to find the system dump , so a developer can get the libs which use these features which dont work

Some settings talk to you, probably telling you how to use the effect.
However, she's speaking Chinese, so not much use to me
The stuff that does.work is very impressive. There's a lot here that ROM designers will go wild with....
