Can't make calls or send messages? - Sprint HTC One (M7)

So I'm on omj's sense 5 Rom v1.1 and randomly I lost the ability to make calls or receive them and send or receive texts. I already tried ##72786# and resetting the device then reactivating. It was very random, last night I'm texting my girlfriend and now nothing? What do I do???

I have a similar issue, x for the service, no MIN# no phone number. I have tried multiple roms and backups to no avail, pulling and reinserting the SIM card.

It happened to me too..just now..I went to mobile network settings then disabled data roaming..and it worked

I've lost the option for roaming and many other settings that I am unable to click on. My phone lost service back around August 3rd and hasn't had any since Now that more folks are working with this phone, maybe a fix will be found.

Take it to Sprint, lol, they fixed mine when I had this issue, works better than it ever has now.

I'm not a sprint customer, I flashed my phone to page plus. Maybe I'll have to contact the HTC main company for warranty.

I'm using the cdma side with page plus and have tried several different sims hoping it would work, but it never. Do you have any suggestions? I should still get service of some sort without a sim card, I believe, especially having the radio set to cdma only.

Will or Is Force Roaming be available?

Curious if anyone knows the status of the Force Roam option.
I've really enjoyed having that option on my HTC EVO LTE.
Thanks
I've heard a rumor that Roam Control works on it. Haven't had a chance to test it out, I'll see if it works at all sometime later today. I too would enjoy having the ability to force roam (I live in the vicinity of a rural area so at times it's needed) - is great on my EVO LTE running MeanBean.
I've ported the mod but it's not working it worked on the sense 5 port for the ELTE

Ah I got it. Thanks I've never dabbled in force roaming before outta fear of Sprint axing my contract for "excessive roaming" and that causing my wife to kick my a** lol but I'm checking into it to see the difference in speeds and just use it in a "as needed" situation. I've come to the understanding that with the right mods you can do the ##778# and edit the prl from there but I'm not entirely sure yet what all that entails. I was just checking around in there and when I selected edit mode under the prl option it asked me for a password and I'm not sure what password it wants. Lol still digging but I'm at work now(in a warehouse so reception is god awful) so after work I may looking into it more. Thanks again any further knowledge anyone shares is much appreciated.

Okay, the RoamControl app does not work on an un-rooted phone. Confirmed using version 2.7 and selecting htc unrooted in options. The developer does not return emails, so those that are looking to roam on a stock device will have to wait for the app to be updated.
It's cool tho, I will be rooted as soon as I'm convinced this phones hardware is worthy of the pounding I'm gonna put on it over the next year! hehe
Peace.

[Q] HTC One and iPhone 5

Hey I have a sprint HTC One and im wondering if i trim my sim card and put it on a Sprint iPhone 5 would it work ? If it does can someone tell me.. I just want to swap phones whenever i want too
You have to call sprint in order to swap phones. Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I think the SIM card is only for international uses. Not Sprint to Sprint

I don't think it works like that on sprint see the sim card is just to get on lte. I remember when I got my replacement HTC one the sim card stayed the same but in the system sprint said it didn't match the one they had on record so my phone wasn't connecting to LTE. After a quick call and putting the right numbers in I got LTE. So you would still need the phone to be active which involves calling sprint to do the swap

Yes. The phone uses the sim card to connect to LTE. That's the only reason it is there. Your phone number isn't attached to it like GSM. So swapping the sim card won't do anything.

No service on Sprint HTC One after RUU

Hey guys, so after a week or so on Nocturnal's GE Rom, my phone stopped getting service. I would still get 4G, but no bars. I did an RUU to see if that would fix the issue, but no luck. I'm stuck here guys, I need this phone for work and any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.

Just tell sprint via chat that you aren't getting service. Tell them your imei ID and ask them to reactivate your phone via a service update.

Access Point Name. Though I heard Sprint isn't allowing its locked phones to change that.
Click on Settings -> Mobile Data. It'll be at the bottom. Though it'll be blanked out. Just ask Sprint to reactivate your phone or something.

Check IMSI as well. You have picture of network, not phone idenity

Is there any possible way I can do that myself? Or does it have to be done at a Sprint store?

[Q] No data

So today my HTC one suddenly won't connect to mobile data at all. Unrooted, never dropped, etc. I have been driving myself crazy for the past 6 hours trying to come up with a solution. Any ideas? I'm not sure if the sprint store is open here in town on Sunday or not. I'm not a happy camper at all.
And you tried a update profile and pro update?

In case you have not had the solution to this posted to you. ## 72786# in your dialer. Once in the epst menu select the menu pull down and select restore. This is a hands free activation. THIS WILL NOT RESET YOUR PHONE. ONLY YOUR ACCOUNT TO THE NETWORK

The prior coding you used may only restore partially your network speeds. If your still experiencing slow connection, delayed mms / sms sending you've only partly fixed the issue.

No, I got a replacement and it wouldn't get 4G at all, just 3G. Figured I'd try to toggle it like you did, same result. Turned out the UICC ID wasn't matching up with Sprint's records. They reprogrammed it or whatever they had to do and all is good now!
