[Q] Facing some unknown issues. Help please - HTC Sensation XL

I would like to know are these issues are normal.
1. When listening on the Music app thru headset and I receive a notfications the music volume seems to sound low but when I check the volume is full blast. To solve this I need to turn beats off remove headset and restart music app. Do you guys experience this also?
2. Most of the times my phones screen seems to flicker. Not the actual screen, the backlight. It seems to blink or flickering and I can't tell if its a hardware or software problem. Anyway my ROM is the official GB rom sense 3.6. I never received an ICS upgrade cause my phone's CID is korean.
Thank you for taking your time answering my questions/issues.

Maybe there is some trouble with your Headphone input detection. Have you tried to use a headphone with it? Do you have sound then?
Thanks for the answer!
Yes, when i put my headphones in, i can hear the voice of the "caller" and i can hear music....but when i put the headphones out again, i cant hear him.
So i thought, perhaps my phone thinks that there are always my headphones plugged in.... but my music player plays sound through the speakers....strange?!
whats going on?! is there a different phone.apk i could try? but i flashed many FW and nothing solved the problem...
or does an app exist here i can test my external ear speaker?!
I vaguely remember a CM7 issue wherein you had to toggle mute to trigger the voice to work on calls. I'm sure your problem is different, since it's happening across multitple firmwares, but it's food for thought.
I would have also assumed your phone was thinking headphones were plugged in when they weren't. But if music plays through the rear speaker just fine, this must not be the case.
Whatever it is, good luck!
Does nobody know a method or a app with what i can test my "Earspeaker" ?
I have the same issue with my i9000M and have been unable to determine the cause. There must be a way to completely wipe the phone and restore a stock ROM in order to reset whatever setting controls handset speaker volume.
psss... noone is looking??? it is top secter Samsung's procedure, do not share:
1. factory wipe
2. flash stock firmware
3. factory wipe
I've got this exact issue.. proximity sensor is also broken and locks up the phone. I disabled it with a patch - but my earpiece is non-functional on stock.
Ideas? Hardware defect?
[Sorry to bump.]

New Incredible S sound problems?

Heey,
My girlfriend just got her new Incredible S but there seems to be a problem with the speaker.
Every time it activates it makes a cracking noise, and when the sound stops it makes a weird noise again.
Could this be a blown speaker or could it be a bug in the software. Don't want to root it because we will probably send it back.
Anybody any advice? What could it be?
what radio do you have i have the same problem with stock radio have flash the latest HTC radio and it works grate
I faced this problem before. Try to remove the back cover, play any sound clip at medium or max volume, touch the dual flash led and feel whether is it vibrating. If yes, then it should be hardware problem. Send back to the local HTC distributor centre
Yes it does sound like a hardware problem to me. If you just got the phone and it's behaving like that, best thing to do is to send it back to HTC.
i also face this problem lately... but at the moment i temporary solve this by Restart the phone and everything normal again.
not sure if it's hardware or software problem. the problem not always happen, sometime only.
is it possible that any apps that install can cause this problem ?
thanks.
try using 9.3.27

My HTC One tries to make me deaf :(

Hey guys
I have a problem with listening music on my htc one. Sometimes (quite often) when I turn on music from my phone on headphones the music starts playing on maximum volume level before it goes back to the one that was set before. This causes those short superloud clicks that hurts my ears.
Does anyone know how do you fix it? I believe its a software problem since it was the problem on my earlier HTC One too.
thanks in advance

[Q] Some bugs that bothers me

Hi I just recently bought SP (C5303), unlocked BL, rooted, installed CM 11 from here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2599650 and the phone is great, but I've found some annoying bugs (may be rom issues).
Most important is, that the volume is veeeery low, especially when I'm in noisy places the in-call volume is just not enough even thou I have volume on max. I've found many reports to this problem, but no working solution this (http://www.droidviews.com/get-higher-volume-on-sony-xperia-z-zl-t-sp-v/ doesn't seem to do the trick).
Another thing is, when I'm using head set, listening to music and somebody calls me I can't pick it up. Button is working, but it seems to have focus not on dialer, but rather on player widget.
Does anybody else have these issues? Are there any solutions I missed?

Weird Low Volume Issue

Hi,
I have suddenly experienced low volume while using the stock headphones that came with my phone. Weird thing is when I turn on the voice chat feature on a game that I play, the volume goes back to normal and when I turn it off the volume is low again. I tried another stock headphone (same model) and the issue is not present.
I don't believe that the headphone's hardware is the problem since the issue is not present when activating voice chat on games. There could be a configuration or setting that I need to configure.
Thanks in advance for your help and suggestions.
