You could search before asking this there's a tool called LG Flashtool. Google it and you will get your answers.

You can follow this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2179126 to go back either to ICS or JB. I personally favour returing back to ICS and make an update as soon as KDZ flash is finished with Offical LG update. It will erase all your data on internel memory.

okay so i unbricked mt thrill using : [TUTORIAL] Flash BIN rom, Unbrick, Update - Optimus 3d (Service Flash software)
and it worked like a charm , i was wondering if any one out there had a att thrill back up from the states hiding somewhere ???
Lg doesnt even support this phone there is no official backup method for it

well, if you unbricked the phone, why not just flash Thriller, as is the one closest to stock, without all the bloatware from at&t?

Both. They're mostly interchangeable. Did the restore process flash the p920 baseband as well? If so then you will have lost the ability to get 4g regardless of rom.

i have the nandroid back up from my original firmware but it has some personal stuff so let me restore to that backup and wipe the data to make another backup.. sounds confusing but just give me a couple of hours + upload time lol

Rogers 2.3.5 doesn't have root. Just so you know, but no.
You don't have to root your phone.
A HOW-TO is in the Optimus 3D section.
Installing any ROM from LG Flash Tool will erase all data.
Last but not least, if you really need help, I can do it for you over TeamViewer.

by cwm you can upgrade to the rom you want. enough to make the necessary fields wipe

Hi everyone!if someone knows for sure please tell me..If the ics update for o2x have locked bootloander we can't play with custom kernel...etc..ok?in that case we will have to flash 2.3 firmware again to have unlockend bootloander and flash a custom ics or jb rom with the working drivers?

yes. that's right.
There isn't still an official ICS Update for O2x... However, yes you should return on 2.3 or I think we'll unlock bootloader without problem with a Toolkit like Nexus One etc.

Use LGFlash Tool, be sure that you select the V10x ".dll" and that you delete the V20a .dz from the program.
Could you be more clear please.explain me the steps..if possible...
