Hello everyone,
I'll explain my problem: a few days back, I unlocked bootloader, flashed CWM and flashed Viperone rom (2.7.0) Everything worked fine.
This morning, my google apps weren't working (gmail not syncing, can't login to youtube and can't watch videos (even though I get all the thumbnails) but internet works fine... When I open the play store, all I get is "No connection" and "Retry"
I tried clearing data but to no use
I then tried wiping cache and dalvik cache in recovery mode, when rebooting, my phone got stuck in a boot loop with "process system isn't responding"
I held power button and volume - for about 10 sec and it rebooted fine, gapps still aren't working though...
What can I do to resolve this issue ? (without losing data if possible)
Thank you

you could wait and see if it is a problem with google servers which it probably is other than that i would wipe and reflash
I solved my problem by following the instructions in this thread

Background :
Yesterday I was messing around with my phone and managed to screw up the OS while trying to install some mods and had to flash it again. Flashing went fine and everything was functioning including the market for the first few hours. I downloaded and installed about 10 or 15 apps (both paid and free) everything installed fine. But when I was installing Catch Notes (free) from the market my wi-fi connection lost internet and the download got stuck at 89%, then I went back enabled 3G data and tried again. That time when I clicked install , I got Downloading : catch notes, catch notes (it appeared twice) in the notification area with a circled number 2 appearing next to the download icon on the top status bar. But after a while the download went into “Download paused” state. Now I can’t finish installing catch notes nor download any other app from the market. When I try to install any app from the market now I get "Starting Download" and then immediately after I get "Download Paused" message and stops there with a green stripes animation where the download progress bar usually appears.
What I have tried so far
I went through this thread and tried most of the suggestions:
Cleared the cache of Market and Download Manager.
Rebooted in to recovery mode (3e) and wiped the cache partition
Checked the IMEI number, they match.
I tried clearing and rebooting the phone many times. Even waited almost a day and tried everything again. Switched between 3G and Wi-Fi (internet works on both modes).
After wiping all the caches I stopped getting Catch notes app trying to download twice, but thats the only change.
Any ideas ? I really don’t want to flash it again or factory reset/format SD card or wipe all user data.
P.S : Galaxy S GT i9000 (international), unlocked no branding, running stock 2.2.1 (JPY) [updated through Kies with reghack] rooted, but no mods or lag fixes installed.
Managed to fix it. I uninstalled the market update, and cleared all the caches, rebooted the phone and it started working.
Now wondering how to get the new market, if it doesn't get updated automatically guess I'll have to copy the new apk manually..
EDIT : New market appeared automatically after a phone reboot. . Everything back to normal .
Hello,
I have problems with my i9000. I am using MIUI 1.11.11.
The thing is that since yesterday I have serious issues with my phone. It happened before upgrading to new version of MIUI.
All apps started to crash, there is no exception. Starting from Google Services Framework untill standard bluetooth app. Every single one. I can't even check any e-mails, messages, I can't even make a call because calling app crashes too. I can't receive any calls at all. I rebooted phone, cleared caches, upgraded phone to MIUI 1.11.11 and nothing. I can't use my phone anymore.
When I pressed "Report problem" I saw for a second log with problem it said something about "data I/O error".
I think the issue is somehow connected to sdcard since I had problems with it before. It was always hard to connect my phone by usb cable. Actually... it was always hard to DISCONNECT my phone. I had to wait looong minutes (about 20 or so) till it finished disconnecting.
If you guys could help me, I'd be glad.
Thanks in advance,
v.
Cwm Recovery - wipe data factory reset, have you tried that?
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=16612037#post16612037 -» I've used this guide and never had problems
I suggest you to reinstall MIUI wiping via recovery cache, dalvik cache, formatting /system and factory reset!
Okay, i recently rooted my xperia z lollipop version ever since my snapchat isn't working or loging in.
Firstly after root it didn't load snaps and stories after that i logout and tried to login again but after minute or two loading Error shows up 'could not connect to the server'. Though my id is working fine on ipad mini.
NOTE: i tried reinstalling, cache cleaning everything but it just won't login.
Many people seem to have this and I am also one of them since a few weeks, it is not my account because I downloaded the latest version on a different android phone and it worked fine
It works fine for me but is too laggy, for instance it takes time to load filters and keeps crashing and freezing and eventually force shuts itself.
Note: This was also the case before rooting.
I had similar problem: after installing xposed I couldn't login with error: "Ops, could not login, try again later" or something like that.

It works fine for me you might need to do a few things to make it work tho.
1. Uninstall xposed framework not the apk
2. Clear Dalvik cache and Cache
3. Boot device install snapchat sign in
4. Boot to recovery flash the correct xposed framework zip
5. Boot device and enjoy.

After using my 910t one night playing a game it suddenly froze up and I had to do battery pull. When it restarted I got the whole Unfortunately (multiple apps) has stopped and then it rebooted. Tried clearing cache - dalvik, reinstalling rom, using TWRP backup, and finally ODIN COG2 (firmware at the time) - and then thought maybe DOK2 would fix it so tried that as well. Same problem persisted. Wiped System - Internal - Data - Cache... I am able to get into TWRP, Stock Recovery, Download Mode, and ODIN finishes without any errors - but as soon as I get to the Samsung setup screen - it starts the whole Unfortunately ...... then reboots over and over. I did notice once ODIN firmware flash completed, the green android install bar after reboot would go almost halfway then reboot, wondering if thats a cause for concern as well. Any help would be greatly appreciated thanks!
After oden flash you should be back to normal. This is weird in deed.
@dannygoround
I'm running CM12.1 on an international M7. It's been running fine for two years, but about six months ago it crashed and got stuck in a boot loop. Wiping the cache alone didn't help because it got stuck in an "optimizing app" boot loop, so I wiped data too to make it boot again.
Since then it has been difficult to install new apps from the play store. Sometimes it will reboot after installation of a new app. If that happens then then starting newly installed app will cause an immediate reboot again. After this happens, restarting will also give me a number of "Trebuchet stopped" messages. If I'm unlucky, then it will reboot into a boot loop again after installation and I'm back where I started.
Since the rebooting occurs with different apps and always happens first after the installation, I suspect the data gets corrupted. Which may mean the flash is defective.
Is there a way to properly diagnose this? And if it is a flash storage problem, is that even fixable?
Did a full reformat of everything and reinstalled it with Resurrection Remix. So far I have not had any problems.
