I have recently upgraded to 4.3,and have been slowly been installing all of my applications back. In this time, I have rooted my One to gain back my root apps functionality.
I wanted to use my data connection to tether with the wifi treve mod, and has not been working with any of the versions I have installed or any settings configuration. I have only been stuck at the "Please wait while starting" screen and it is continously trying to start OR it skips the "Please wait while starting" screen and just shows this screen and isn't actually broadcasting my phone's data connection.

Also, it doesn't ask for superuser permission, even though I have SU installed and am rooted. And it also shows this error message
If anyone can offer a working tether app that works for a T-Mobile HTC One running 4.3 that will not count towards my T-Mobile smartphone hotspot allotment of 500 megabytes, that would be great.

Its not using battery. You don't need to worry. Its battery usage might be 0.00000001%

It is using a lot of memory though... 48mb in my phone now...
I'm using HTC ONE 802t with custom ROM (http://bbs.gfan.com/forum.php?mod=viewthread&tid=6285336), it runs and navigates fine, but it happens that I can't make or receive calls, if I try there is a single "beep" and the call is ended, the same happens if they try to call me.
I'm using the same ROM (same 802t) of my sister, but she doesn't have this problem.
I can still navigate, download, play online apps while it's impossible to call.
It sounds like you have been playing with the settings and have either switched of the Radio or changed it to a non supported mode (not supported by your sim/provider
so save you stuff then factory reset the phone.
when you are making changes you are unsure of note down the before and after settings so it is easy to resolve :highfive:
The radio controls signal stuff it is not a FM/ type of radio
This happens everynow and then, if I reboot the phone it works again.
Should I turn off the radio ? I don't remember turning it on tho.

IR worked only once with "IR Remote Control" by Johan Westling (I can't post link yet). I could control all my TV's in my house, Samsung and LG. Suddenly IR stopped working. I tried 10 apps (literally) and no one worked, even HTC Sense TV app. Couple days ago HTC app was waiting for signal when I was trying to configure remote manually. Now it's instantly showing error "Unable to configure button" like the IR blaster would be dead. Device is not rooted and unlocked and it didn't hit the ground yet cause it's quite new . Any help?

Have you tried just automatically setting up your remote in the HTC TV app by selecting the model of your tv and seeing if it works like that, cause i couldn't get it to receive a signal from a remote but it works fine when its preset.
Hello,
I've received a few reports from users about crashes of app on Note with Android 4.4. However, other users report that it runs just fine on 5.0. So I'm asking for you install this app (it is free and requires no special permissions other than Internet access for small AdMob banner in settings). So I ask you to spend 5 minutes to test app on your device in order no narrow down the problem.
App is a live wallpaper so please set it as wallpaper and post a screenshot of it running on your device for me to see if there are any visual glitches in it, or at least tell me if it crashes or not.

Maybe it's a KK problem. It runs fine on Morom BOG5. The only problem is I don't like live wallpapers. They use too much battery. But I tried it out for you and it works.

Works on android 7.1.2. Just tried it out.
My WIFI network is fine and all other apps on my S23 works properly but only this one app can't use WLAN network. It seems to have been blocked somehow and I don't know how to unblock it. I looked every everywhere and can't find a fix. This app is developed by myself and is important to me. The app name is Luo Note. It works properly on my other android devices and only has this problem on my newly purchased S23. Here is a shot of the toast message of the system when I open this app:

No, I reinstalled the app and the block is gone. It's all good now. Never happened before, must be something new. I guess it's Samsung not android, Smart manager maybe but I can't find the setting.
