Full settings on stock

Hello xda friends. I have a rooted galaxy gear running stock rom. I was wondering if anyone found a way to get full Android setting without going null_. Would love the option to get into keyboard settings and also figure out why it won't let me install local apks even tho in my gear manager it says it allows third party apps. Thanks all!

hi ,
first of all ,in your Gear manager on phone have you enabled "unknown souces " ?( Gear manager/settings /unknow souces... )
i install 3rd party apps ( sideloading ) either using wondershare ( from pc ..connected to watch ) or es file explorer that i have installed on watch i have Google keyboard installed ( after a reboot to work )and can go into keyboard settings when i open my "apps " section on gear and select The relevant app..."Google keyboard " )
i have stock rom not rooted ?? Maybe its something you are not checking or doing that you cannot get it to work ??

All that works with null, which is stock plus extras. So, yes, it someone did figure it out

I'd like to know how to get the "full" settings area using null rom, when using the stock ui. For example if I want to look at the voltage instead of swipe, swipe, settings I have to do apps->find nova->apps->find settings->do my thing->back to apps->find touchwiz->irritating.
Is it possible to add icons to the apps area of stock for apps that show in Nova but not in Stock ui? Then I could add an icon for the full settings.

Yes I have checked to accept 3rd party apps in gear manager but when I go to install and apk it still tells me on the gear that I can't do unknown app sources. I can sideload fine but I prefer the Bluetooth from phone to gear idea. I'm not going to pay $40 for wondershare when the trial is up. Lol.
And as far as using null_ goes, I am waiting to see if I can figure out how to bt tether with att S3 before I go full null_

Edit: finally just decided to go full null. But do you guys know how to sign into an existing google account? I'm sure it's on the forums somewhere but I just don't know where.

Touchwiz does have access to settings though
Something in sick apk installer is broken, hence unable to install apps
You can't sign into Google account without internet access

thx. Im trying to install the apk but i receive an error when Gear Manager try to send to my Gear Neo 2. Im using LG G3 + Gear Neo 2. Do you know how can i do this ? Im using the last version of this Gear Manager 2.1.14071502 , and all notifications are working.

Notify Gear. For some reason this app quit showing up in the Samsung Gear store after a I flashed a rom on my s5 active and had to reset my neo. Love that app

If you change your build.prop to reflect a regular S5 by changing ro.product.model from SM-G870A to SM-G900A, you will have a lot more apps available to you. Your S5 Active must be rooted to do this.

Mines Z2 was installed androi 4.xx?, if androi 4.3, you should root and install tizenmod 3.0 of skin1980

have alook in the nexus 5 thread. i had a nexus 5 running lollipop it will give you an insight to what is working with 5.0 art...regard's

Facebook does work with Stock but not with touchwiz lollipop...and kindle for samsung is an exclusive to samsung devices

There's about 60% people with problems with the last version of Facebook on lollipop and 40% people saying it's ok...
It's very weird, what could it be? I'm personally having this problem... Are you sure you're running on the last facebook playstore version?

What kind of issues are you facing? Im running KK for now because of games but I recieved notifications ok and links worked and stuff

I've try several version of Facebook, including beta version and none of them works only 22 and 21....the 20 don't works was well

All version fb work if fb is alredy instaled when lollipop update (no wipe or factory reset)...if reinstall after lolipop update same verion fb not work...

here another with no fb working (Im in the beta program of fb)

GPS in google maps doesn't work.
Some people seem to think it does but they need to make sure they are using GPS only in location settings and can get the GPS lock icon in the notification bar like you can with other apps

Multi-screen Multitasking, for all apps?

Hey everyone!
I just recently made the switch to the Note 5 (loving it), and have ONE question to ask..
In Multi-screen mode, it seems only a few are allowed to utilize this. Is there a tweak that can enable this for ALL apps in the recents menu??
For example, there have been a few times where I wanted to use Settings and Messages Classic (a playstore app) to copy some stuff, but neither have the option.

Question Owned by Organization?

I have U1 FW. I've turned off all lock screen items except for the clock. But at the bottom of my lock screen it says "This device belongs to your organization"
No it doesn't. It belongs to me. The same thing happens on my wife's S21 (non-Ultra). Any suggestions how to turn this off? Or is it a bug?

this app uses the "belong to organisation" feature to disable certain apps :/ this is why im using adb to uninstall apps
