If I get an email I get about 30 lines of text on the Gear.
3-4 words per line.
That's about 100 words.
Granted academic words may be longer, but even 40-50 words in a message is quite a bit of info...
How many words do you want?

Well I'm in high school and I need whole history lesson(2 big pages of text)...(Dont judge me xd)

I used the gear to cheat on my midterm yesterday. What I did was take pictures of my notes. It sucked having to zoom in to be able to read the notes but it worked for me.

How do you use this push command again?
So i have opened adb where i can install apk files with "adb install appname.apk" command.
I tried "adb push filename.txt" but no such luck.

Don't know if installing two of the same app will allow you to use it as a separate app but...
... you can just decompile the file and change the name of the app, that should do it.

You should change the package name in every file. Just the name won't help.
Also, whatsapp is based on your phone communicating with their servers. So multiple apps wont help.

Use Titanium Backup. It can set up multiple profiles for a single app. Meaning the same app can have like 2 or more data files.
Search titanium backup help page to learn how to set it up.
I use this with my browsers to hide the "sensitive" stuff.

Yes, there is a way by which you can run multiple WhatsApp accounts on your android phone with two numbers. This involves you to install an app called SwitchMe Multiple Accounts from the Google Play. The only necessity is that your phone has to be rooted. Once you have installed this app, open it and create two different user profiles for your two WhatsApp account. Each user profile will have its own setting, apps and data. The first user profile will acts at the administrator account and it will have all the apps and data you are having now. If you already have a WhatsApp account in your phone, then it will be on this profile. The second user profile will contain the new WhatsApp account. You can set it up as follows: Switch to this account—> Set up your phone for this account—> Open Play Store—> Install WhatsApp. This way you can register the new WhatsApp account to your new second number. Hope I Helped

If you're rooted and only need double account for whatsapp, you could try this app called '2lines for Whatsapp'..
Sorry, i'm not allowed to post a link yet, but you'll find it on the play store.
The same developer has apps for Clash of Clans and Facebook too, if you are interested.
Hope that helps.

The PPA has the tools and dependencies to support Precise, Quantal and Raring. Add the Ubuntu Touch PPA by adding the following custom source list entry to your /etc/apt/sources.list file.

After flashing, it just felt like I was playing with a display unit rather than a 'developer preview' which was somewhat disappointing. Can't wait for an actual release, this has a lot of potential to be the start of something amazing IMO.

I think this could be incredible, especially with the convergence thing.
But what worries me is that it requires a 32gb sd card, and the N4 only comes in 8 and 16gb versions
I have some questions.
Does monitor mode work on Ubuntu Touch?
How much space is available after installation?
How do I enter a URL in the browser?
Edit: I just found out: pull the url bar from the bottom of the screen. If you drag from the bottom of the screen to the upcoming grey icon ou can close apps etc.
When i tried the preview yesterday i really liked how fast it booted(6 seconds after Google logo) and the clean home screen. Gestures were nice but too sensitive.

HTC devices have a weird quirk that kept my injection system from working. I have designed an imperfect-but-at-least-quite-safe workaround for this issue, which will be deployed in the version of Substrate I will be releasing to the Play Store later tonight. I am sorry it caused you frustration .

I am also terribly sorry about the large number of "Frowny Pants" errors. This error message simply indicated "script failed to run for any possible reason"; honestly, I added that code in 2011, and kind of forgot it was there . This error message was removed soon after release, and replaced with a more powerful Script Failure reporting dialog, which has itself been improved over the last few releases. The script itself has been entirely rewritten (it is now a combination of native and Java code, entirely replacing attempting to use any shell commands to accomplish the installation goals).
cool

I wonder why we got this error and others didn't, especially after I hard reset the device. Must be something to do with rooting? I also had the 'custom' sign on bootup which i removed using wanam. Could it be connected?
Also, when I hard reset and tried to SQLite it was the TASK MANAGER that blocked the editing of a system file. came up with a shield logo, but it wasn't Lookout. When I clicked on the message, which said it was safe to delete SQLITE, there was no option to 'ignore' or bypass it.

I'm pretty sure that was knox. Did it say "prevention information"? I disabled it according to designgears' second post in his rooting thread, but still get the code 14 error, just no shield this time --
"I am getting a "Prevention Information" popup after running a root app, how do I disable it?
From terminal emulator or adb shell as root, run; pm disable com.sec.knox.seandroid
Or freeze the Knox apps with Titanium Backup."
I have all the knox stuff and lookout deleted and still get the error message 14. I also tried the app from the play store and still get error. I really want to figure this out cause turning data on and off in settings is a pita. I'd even settle for the data toggle in the power off menu.

You can root and install Bluetooth File Transfer and send to other bluetooth devices, install Evernote, send it that way, or sync the pic with your phone and share from your phone.
No rooting necessary. Side load Tablet Talk with wondershare and you can share straight from the watch to anyone...just make sure you know the number. It doesn't sync contacts.

Well mine is working like a charm. Not rooted. App is "mini gallery"... I have it on the face of my GG. I tap it, it shows me the pics on the camera, and what I have stored on the Note 3.. Shows them all.
It works for me now, i just uninstalled the 1.5 tablet in gear and installed 1.7 and with that version the share worked
Still cant find the .apk file in my note3 for my tablet talk i bought would be great to use that instead in my gear.
