Per App Dpi changer ? - One (M7) Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi
I would like to stick to the rom and dpi im running but could do with a app which i can change separate dpi of certain apps (keyboard mainly)
Just wondered if anyone knew of an app which can do this?
Rom - Viper 2.7.0 with Nova
Kernel - Bulletproof
Tia.

Just install Xposed Framework, and search for a module named App Settings.
With that, you can easily define a specific DPI for each apps, even system apps (like Paranoid Roms)
Enjoy

Ok thanks, ive installed and it dosnt seem to be taking to setting?
Ive changed dpi for the keyboard to 420 and its making no diff?
What am i doing wrong?

Scratch that, think its working now
Thanks for your help.

I don't think you can get a dialler from nitrality mate.
Martux rom, v3
Check out S.U.R.F.A.C.E Rom, all apps are multi DPI. Several users are posting additional mulit DPI apps, e.g. here in post #1911:

[ROM] CM7.2-stable, deodexed

Something akin to what I did to CM7.1, FWIW. This time, no more 2.6.35 kernel. Again, I take no credit for this. My way of saying thanks to this community, as I might bid g'byze soon. Doesn't hurt to hit the thanks button though if this helps .
How's this different from stock CM7?
deodexed & zip-aligned
TGF's data2ext integrated - ext2 version (issue "data2ext --enable" on terminal - previously formatted ext2 partition on sd required)
tweaks for deodexed rom and sd read-ahead (3072 by default - adjust if sd < cl4)
flying-in menu animations
centered clock
support for transparent bar
removed rom manager
LCD Density by default is 135. Note that this will cause problems with the Play Store for some apps that it will report as "incompatible" (which may have been previously working on the default 160). I use LCD Density Modder for this. Otherwise, edit build.prop.
get it here

you're a star, nice one.
What do you use for deodexing. I want to make my own customized version (just deodexed and some apps removed).

take this tool, i used to my rom.
Using CM 7.2, I can't get my phone to vibrate on sms notifications. Neither in the default messaging app, not in go sms pro. I have checked all the settings, the vibration is set to ON. Anyone else facing this issue?
does the vibrate function work for all other functions, i.e., haptic feedback? what about in other roms, especially stock htc? if vibrate still doesn't work on all these, your legend's vibrate motor may be borked. wifey's using my previous legend now on this rom & there's no similar problem

[Q] Paranoid Android change font?

Fairly new to this Rom flashing lark, so far have installed and am really enjoying Paranoid Android 2.16 but I would like to change the system font, as I don't like the one it comes with. Have tried a couple of Font Installer apps from the market, but they only lead to it not booting and having to reflash the rom.
I thought the point of custom roms was so you can change things to have them as you want? Why deny us this one (surely) simple thing?
Any help would be appreciated

+1
I even have bought an app that installs additional fonts to the system.
And it's not even a root app... selecting a font is just a regular android feature.
Luckily i still can use my Rom Toolbox Pro App.
But with the other app i can select the font normally via settings...
and i don't have to reboot...

Widget Locker is the best IMO for any lock screen mod you want to configure, DPI is in the build prop in the root of the device, Google is your friend on this subject. If you don't understand where the build prop is you should stay away from it. LOL have fun!

Google Maps on 800x480 Screen

Folks, I've installed xposed framework and app settings and tried to decrease the application size to fit better on my 800x480 screen with no success...Tried with DPI, font Size and Screen DP...any guide on how to actually decrease the screen size will be appreciated.
Android 4.4.4
Thanks!
I'll second that.
Same problem here. I'm trying to reset Resolution/DPI for some Apps on my Android-Stick MK809III (4.4.2 stock ROM) connected to my F60DAB (=NEX8000). Any changes made in Xposed AppSetting have no effect at all after reboot.
Edit:
Is textdroider-app worth a try as alternative ?
check your logs, they will tell if there is a problem with appsettings, personally i used on my stock 5.0.1 (nexus 5) with no problems, however on the rom im using now(cm12-based rom) it dosen´t work due to cm´s changes
