[PORT]Ubuntu Touch / Stopped Working!

Statement:
Currently i am stop working on the port to the galaxy s3. because the Ubuntu Touch Releases can not be used in any instance. Until Canonical will release a useful build i stop my work on this port.
Sorry for that.

the build hostet on goo.im ist ma latest build but font rendering is broken in some areas, but wifi is working and Video decoding.

Highly doubt it. Its not working for the Gnex or Nexus 4, so i really doubt it will work on this.

Aprehensive...ive downloaded it but I dont have wifi at my house so If network doesnt work its no good but im definatly gonna follow this thread...anybody had this as 2nd boot on siyahs dualboot per chance?

gave it a quick go...home button on navi bar has some issues..won't go back to home. It seems like the navigation ring and navi bar are overlapping so whatever button is in the middle stops working. didn't try anything else as it got annoying not being able to go back to the home screen.

Example: Liquid smooth for me was awesome, Pac For me Ram was making my phone Laggy even after clearing the ram so thats all i want to know at least for now.

Wow this is an awesome rom so far, haven't encountered any bugs or restarts yet, only been running it a few hours. Hope bluetooth works, will be trying it later.

Well I figured as much, was just having high hopes. Will still try it anyways, as it worked fine on Unofficial AOKP.

Uxylon used to be just xylon for those who didn't know. One of the most popular rom on the gnex forum and the nexus 4 forum.
If you reading this its too late... I tried.

How To Flash/Install:
Do a FULL WIPE first. Full Wipe means format /system, /data, /cache.
Now flash ROM and then GAPPS through recovery.
After flashing, do NOT reboot phone. Instead POWER OFF the device and boot to bootloader.
Extract the boot.img from rom and flash it using fastboot flash boot boot.img command.
Reboot.

Got it eventually.
Love the automatic system colouring.
It's very pretty. And almost negates my want for installing any themes.
Very smooth too and glad to see S2W enabled by default in the kernel.
I had a SOD this morning though not long after flashing. Something I had on another recently compiled ROM. If you hard reset, you get back in OK but your phone seems to have done a partial factory reset. Wasn't a massive issue as I already had recent backups, buy could be bad if it happens after a week of use with no backup on standby.

You can flash any gapps of your preference that works with Android 4.4.4 or 4.4.3

like how "light" this looks. Might have to give it a whirl! Thanks!

What kind of issues are you referring to?
But anyways I'm sure you wouldn't have any problems with returning back to sense just do a backup before flashing this rom

I'd just heard about corrupt data issues but that might just be with GPE roms ... Always Nandroid
