I use the app called Mono Bluetooth Router to hear music through BT headsets. Works fine with other phones, but does not work with this.
I am on 4.1.2 stock rom. The phone connects with the BT headset, but when I activate Mono Bluetooth Router, it connects to the phone but no sound is transferred. It has to be a software issue or a Bluetooth setting, but I can not see any way to access to advanced BT settings.
Any help would be very appreciated. If you are using another app different than mono Bluetooth Router and if it is working, please advise.

I have found a free apk that works like a charm: audiorouter. Problem solved.
Anyway, if somebody is using another apk, please comment.

I am using Tytn II with Jabra BT8040. I was facing very tricky issue and that was whenever BT headset is connected to the phone, sound profiles on the phone kept on changing.
I have now established that this happens only when I have used both Wireless stereo and Handsfree profiles from my BT headt set. If I only use handsfree problem disappears.
Can some one help to understand whay this may be happening? how to resolve?
The 8040 is A2DP enabled. Basically, a mono stereo headset if that makes sense. Since it can stream music to the BT without using the BT Toggle app. Anyway...its because of your headset. Change it to default using Handsfree..not both.

I know what A2DP is and I guess Tytn II supports A2DP and hence the quesry in the first place. I bought BT8040 because TyTn II supports A2DP
So, I've been trying to use my BT headset and a voice recorder but Diamonds seems to use only its internal microphone and not BT's one. Jabra BT 3030 (dogtag) is the device I'm using. There are wireless stereo and handsfree profiles in BT settings which are both checked.
Why I can't record my voice with Jabra? Is there a software way to make it use Jabra's microphone?
Apart from this everything else (calls and streaming music) works fine.
No ideas? Anybody? I sent the problem to Jabra/HTC support but didn't get nothing concrete as an answer.
I can't believe that bluetooth device's microphone can't be used for recording?
The same thing worked on Symbian Nokia device I used before...

Greetings,
I need some help with Bluetooth. I am using 6.5 21222 from DaG's Kitchen. I have tried every 6.1 and 6.5 variant produced thus far and cannot get consistency with my Bluetooth problem.
My car stereo (Pioneer p-980BT) has the ability to connect using bluetooth for hands free calling as well as audio streaming. The hands free calling always works fine, but I cannot get the audio connection to work. I have tried everything I can think of. I disabled the Handsfree profile but it still connects to hands free. With a hard reset on both the phone and car stereo, I can connect the audio on the first try. However, if I turn either one off, it will not connect the audio again. Handsfree works like a champ no matter what I do.
I have googled and spent several hours looking through the forum, but have not been able to find anything.
Is anyone aware of a tool or registry setting that might help give my audio connection some priority?
Thanks for any advice.
Doug M.
I had the same problem with my Pioneer Avic D3. handsfree works but the Audio stream doesnt work until I found A2DP toggle this enables the Audio streaming .

Thanks a ton for your help. I have spent untold hours fiddling with this trying to get it to work. Installing A2DP Toggle made it work right away.
Thanks again for the help.

On my mac it shows the option of using the G1 as a bluetooth speaker.
Is this possible, or the other way? letting me play music over bluetooth to my computer, because that would be really awesome.
Could someone explain the features of the bluetooth abilities on this phone?
Thanks
as far as i've ever seen: bluetooth mono headset, a2dp headset, file transfer. thats all you get with bluetooth right now.
Hi,
I want to try and disable the A2DP connection (Media Audio) on my BT car stereo so only the Phone Audio is connected (so I can hear Navigation instructions through the phone speaker).
Although the option to "uncheck" the Media Audio on the bluetooth connection is there, it doesn't seem to work (despite warning that it will switch off the Media Audio), as it just reconnects anyway, even when the option is unchecked.
Does anybody know of a fix or workaround for this behaviour? There are plenty of apps to auto-connect A2DP, but I can't find any to disconnect.
Cheers,
Steve.
Hey Steve.
I have a Nexus 4 and I'm running CM10.1. Unfortunately, I'm having the same problem and I haven't found a fix for it yet. Have you had any luck yet?
Thanks,
Jonathan
