I originally was very excited about the N5, especially when it was supposed to be smaller than the N4 (which was already borderline - I would say 132mm h is the max)
But with this being another stupid brick, there is ZERO appeal - especially with such a small battery.

3000mAh =/= 2300 mAh
thats what he's saying, they should have put in a 3000mAh then.
with such a small storage, does anyone know if its supports USB OTG? cus right now thats probably the only thing making a difference for me (from the nexus 4).
they should have put in a 6000 mAh battery imo

[Guide] Headphone/Earphone Buying
It is a valid point.
Even if you want an expensive phone, there are little options.
Droid Maxx was US only, G2 is expensive. There you have the issue of lack of updates and crappy skins.
I want a phone with huge amounts of on screen time and the latest updates...
Related
So I want to buy an HDTV to replace the CRT in my room. I have the following options:
1. A 42 inch Plasma
2. A 42 inch LCD
3. A 32 inch LED
4. A 32 inch LCD
5. A 32 inch Plasma
First 3 are of the same price, 4 and 5 are cheaper.
My room is small-ish, so the max distance I can view it from is 10-11 feet, minimum around 7-8 feet.
So would 42 inches be overkill? If not, is there any reasonable reason to go for a smaller LED in the same price?
If yes, would I be better off with a smaller cheaper 32 inch LCD or a 32 inch Plasma than a more expensive 32 inch LED?

Yeah the colors are absolutely beautiful in the LED. But LCDs aren't too far behind. I don't know much about Plasmas but I've heard they're even better than the LEDs in terms of blacks.

I have a brand new 32gb sitting in a box downstairs. I guess I'll sell both and buy a new one, if its worth it.

Because apple is better. NO. Because here in Australia good android tablets are as hard to find as it is easy to find iPads. There really aren't many choices things like n10 is just to complicated to obtain. That's why, if I am given a CHOICE, I will choose android every time, but here there isn't any choices.

Which iPad? The 4 is hardly a bad tablet-- I was thinking of trading in my iPad 3 (the performance bump from the 3 to the 4 is really quite nice), but ultimately didn't have time to go in today and the promotion is over. Honestly, I like it more than any of my Android tablets because the thing is rock solid no matter what, but I do a lot of my tinkering on my Android tabs so it's at least partially my fault.
I would wait and acquire the nexus 7 second generation.

I had to pee today after I drank coffee, and then I had some toast. Today is a good day.
heres your answer
The screen sizes are identical but Google uses the bottom portion for its on screen controls so the screen area ends up being about 3/8" shorter than the S4, just saying that's all, maybe not everyone realises
So you think a $600 is better than a $300 phone? okay...

So? She's one reviewer. Displaymate who does the most exhaustive objective mobile device display testing on the Internet thought the S' AMOLED display was brilliant (and backed it up with hard numbers). Why is Erica's repetitive, grating, and subjective hyena screeching video more valid? People should form their own opinions anyway; it's not like you can't find a S to play with and compare side-by-side to a Samsung LCD tablet.

They already own the Tab S
Or they are going to buy it no matter what you said.
I'm from both. I came here knowing I was going to buy my 10.5 and no matter what negatives I read about was going to deter me from my quest, not even yours if I would have read it before hand.

I saw this. A shame on OnePlus for sure. Add it to the list, along with cell provider compatibility (Verizon).
PS. Although I have pretty solid SOT, it's probably going back if I can't use it on Verizon reliably for business.
I noticed same with accuser battery app that the estimate is 3800. Maybe it's reserved/locked like a Tesla?
The rated capacity is 3880 while the typical capacity is 4000.

Or 120 mAh... If you are using that thing called 'math'
For those who have not looked closely at the photos of the battery and/or don't understand the difference between rated and typical capacity:
The battery says Rated Capacity 3800mah AND Typical Capacity 4000mah... so Oneplus HAS NOT LIED at all, it does have a battery with a Typical Capacity of 4000mah.
The Rated Capacity is what you would get if you discharged the battery at 2+ Amps... A cell phone should never be pulling that much current .... If instead you drain the battery at a much lower rate (like 200ma or less) you will get a capacity of around 4000mah.
In other words: Don't accuse someone of lieing without making sure you know what you are talking about first.

120mAh which is 3% of the advertised battery capacity and I don't remember any math class I ever took where I allowed to round up by 120 units and the answer still be valid. This isn't hard drive sales.
Edit: I'm wrong and now looking at the Galaxy S10+ and the Huawei P30 Pro all their "Advertised" capacitys are 100 mAh different from their "typical" or idea rating. It seems every flagship is doing this even though Oneplus is still cutting 20mAh extra compared to other manufacturers.

Well, that makes sense I suppose. Ifixit didn't exactly elaborate in the video, and they have a good enough reputation I think many would take what they said at face value. Like I did.

Inbound calls from iphone x series users on Verizon are being immediately rejected (when HD Calling/Advanced Calling in enabled). It's a weird bug that they are supposedly working on.
Also, I was wrong about the capacity rating. I should have looked into it further.
