No, I think not.
Since this is the latest version 31/10, I think everyone should have it in there, no?
I thought it was an addition to the source cm 10.2

Bro, no one had that problem. It still weird for me, cause that option is disable by default. Using a file explorer ( I use root explorer pro), go to: root/system open your build.prop file & see if you have that line: qemu.hw.mainkeys=0. If so delete it, save your file & reboot the phone to take effect.

This line was not there.
I tried added: qemu.hw.mainkeys=1 and now it is good
Thank you for having me facing the good solution

@Fred6681,

[Q] Can't install Foursquare in CM 7.2. Fix?

Yesterday I flashed CM 7.2 (latest nightly build) in my Galaxy Mini. Everything's running perfect, except for Foursquare app, which I had earlier and can't install now. Market says it's incompatible with the phone (it obviously isn't); doesn't appear when searching for it through Google Play.
Any ideas on how to fix this?
PD: Hello everyone, I'm new to the forums Greetings from Chile.

download fsq apk first from here :
https://dl.dropbox.com/u/30550751/Software/Android/APK/com.joelapenna.foursquared-2012060800.apk
install it normally, or if this can't be installed too then,
use root explorer, copy it into system/app and set permissions into rw-r--r--
or like this :

[ROM] Unofficial AOKP 4.2.2 GPS Fix

I have been searching for this fix for a while now. And i did found it, but i found it on a different rom thread. So for those who are not sure or think that there is no fix for the GPS issue in that wonderful AOKP rom. there actually is a fix:
It was originally published for a different rom in the third post of this page:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2309261&page=7
But even there is not clear enough for people who are not used to deal with these things so here it goes:
1- Download this file : https://github.com/skeevy420/androi...lob/cm-10.1/proprietary/lib/libloc_api_v02.so
2- Open the AOKP rom on 7-zip/WinRAR or any program of your choice.
3- Navigate to the following dir: /system/lib/ (this is inside the compressed rom file)
4- Take the file you downloaded in the first step and drag it in there. It will ask you if you want to overwrite, answer yes to that.
5- Flash that modified AOKP rom zip.
6- Your GPS is now fixed.

My fault, didn't read the title. Not needed now...that first 23.0 build was built with the new vendor repos...they're on the same branch as our new ones were and I didn't realize the change till after the build. Fixed that today and a new one is already up....so is a new aokp with same change once I set the link to be public

[ROM][master][2014-05-22] AOSP 4.4.3.2.1.000.000

I've just built AOSP from master branch.
The most interesting thing is the optimized ART runtime. It's enabled by default and works with much more apps now.

it's from master branch.
basically it's a mix between 4.4.3 and 4.5.
Google pushes core changes to master branch and hobby devs can use gerrit to merge changes into that branch.
The new features and UI changes are still closed source until google releases a new android update.

Nexus 6 CM 12.1 and Trebuchet

Hi,
One question ... I flashed CM 12.1 nightly on my new Nexus 6. Flashing went well but there is no more Trebuchet launcher. And some specific CM-apps seem not be present. As for Trebuchet the only way I found was to restore a backup, Titanium backup had some problems to restore that app .After reboot I can choose Trebuchet as launcher but google search bar has disappeared.
Did I miss something ? Is this a bug ?

Did you flash a Google Apps package (gapps) too?
And what did you have instead of Trebuchet?

You need to go into settings --> apps, find the active launcher, and clear defaults on it. Then next time you hit the "home" button, it should prompt you for which one.

I am aware of that. I tried to install google search from playstore. It sais google application is already installed which is quite obvious. If I change the launcher and switch to google launcher the search bar is back ! If I choose Trebuchet the search bar is missing.

Your issue is now a lot more clear.
This is likely a flaw in their launcher. Do keep in mind that CM is a bugfest. One of the reasons why most sane people avoid it, is because it is basically all broken all of the time.
If it works correctly with the google launcher, then I suggest using the google launcher.
