Pardon me if this has been brought up here or elsewhere but I've googled then when nothing particular came up I've searched here as well but my search yielded zilch... only thing I've pulled up from my searches here is this one: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2360800&page=16 but it didn't work out well due to FCs...
Anyone in the know? Or ATM nothing is compatible with the Gear?

I'm quite newbie... I've just moved from SPV c600 to DIAMOND. I've one problem that really makes me mad. At first I must tell that I've tried everything hard reset , than checking if any apps is causing that one by one-with no result. Occasionally I just can't pick up/refuse a calls with HW buttons. I use S2U2(installed yesterday), but this problem I had even before i installed that app. Does anybody of you experienced such an issue? Anybody knows the answer how to fix it? Thanks in advance
Same thing happens to me! It is like HW buttons work whenever they want but not all the time. If you install AEButton Plus you can remap HW buttons, but again the same thing will happen. The changes will work sometimes but not always.
I have a similar problem. Can you answer with soft buttons? Hoping some solution ideas will appear here or in that thread.

This has become extremely frustrating.
Sprint has not been very receptive to this either.
what works for me is to lock & unlock the screen.
unless it case is related to another problem which i have experience before as well. But this has gone away since i loaded a different rom from the original htc.

I am curious if anyone has found a good program to auto adjust the backlight.
Let me explain a bit more.
I had a touch pro.
And I ran Lumos.
it had exceptions.
So say if i ran Coreplayer, or Garmin the backlight would go full blast.
Man i have searched and searched and it seems as though such a software doesnt exist.
Am i missing something here?
i have googled, went to various xperia forums and searched, and still nothing.
but something else that throws me is i sometimes see this phone being refered to as an HTC device.
is that true?
because it doesnt seem to me that HTC would put sony on it.
but this i am not sure of.
so any help or ideas please let me know.

Ive just got my captivate and found myself spending a lot of time visiting this forum. its a great place for everything from the little fixes down to the real nitty gritty over my head stuff. Thanks for all the help by just reading but I need something I could'nt find. I love the captivate but on most days use it more as a phone than anything so it would be nice if i could have it wake up with the phone dialer open, is there any way to get it to do this? I'm all stock but I'm running Launcher pro.

I have rooted my Galaxy GT-18190N and found the screen rotate no longer works.
I havehad a look through different forums and not found a resolve whereas the root can remain.
I believe there may be an issue with the acceleraromiter.
Is there an app that can sort this? Or do I have to go back to stock?
Any help would be much appreciated - be aware I am very new to this!

Hey guys i have a problem with my touchscreen to where if i touch for example an app it wont launch it and i would have to press a little bit over it for it to launch, and another example would be with the keyboard where if i try to press a letter it would input the one below
I've already tried, rebooting my phone several times, holding down the power button to reset, and factory resetting and also taking out the battery and putting it in and turning the phone back on and still no luck.
If you guys could give any help w this id really appreciate it ! thanks in advance
Search the forum, IIRIC there is a thread about a similar problem and I think that it could be fixed if the digitizer firmware is updated (I don't remember how though). Maube you have the same problem...

yeah i've been trying to look all over and cant seem to find a fix, ive recently tried recalibrating w apps but they dont work. but thanks for the reply man appreciate it alot
