Doesn't look like we're seeing Jelly Bean 4.3 today. I guess you can't beat perfection? LOL

I think they're saving android updates for last, since all the gaming stuff was really updates in services. Still have another 30 to 40 min left

Fail.... I see nothing interesting from this I/O. I was waiting for N5, but if s4 is that device... I say lazy on Google part.

Damn no os update, yet.
They're really pushing chrome which I thought was cool. We got (not on sprint) the one developer edition anyways. Doubt s4 Google edition will sell well when you can convert your existing s4 to the Google edition for free

Wow... A stock s4. That's not amazing at all. Lazy of Google to use the s4 as the new nexus if it is. I expected a revolutionary device, but lets wait to see more

Different Devs but same team. Just need the 4.2.2 base for sprint to be released and we will be getting that rom soon

I've read that HTC has encountered a few problems with 4.2.2. and pulled the update in some international variants. I'm happy with 4.1.2 till they get the bugs out and carriers dish it out.

Why does everyone think Sprint drags their ass? Sprint by far is one of the fastest US carriers to shoot updates out.

Yeh, I think he was helping Development on TEAM Synergy S4 ROM. Those doods are his bros and I'd bet he'd help them with anything he could.. But really he's kinda a hired gun. You want our ROM to touch a lot of people, you let him port and build it for another device.
Maybe a few before we see something, but you know it will be worth the wait. Remember Eternity..?:angel:

They were fast on the original EVO but it took several months after the virgin variant, which was identical to the Sprint model of the evo3D, to release ICS on that phone. It was ridiculous and it all hinged on Sprint.

Sprint's record wasn't bad with the EVO LTE but a lot of us still have some taste of how the EVO 3D ICS update went.
All I can say is, seeing how 4.2 is released by HTC for the One, if in a month from now we don't hear anything from sprint then there is going to be some angry Android fans

It's not HTC's fault at this point. We can all but confirm that 4.2 is in sprints hands now. HTC developed it and now it's Sprints job to add what they need/want and then deploy to us.

I've done up with a new idea. While we wait for these updates on this god forsaken carrier... Let's have a little fun. Who wants to make a wager? They said 4.3 should be here by September something right?
As a betting individual, I'm willing to bet we don't see it in September!

Yeah, subtly... Regardless, I'm not sure why everyone thinks Sprint's so slow to get updates. It'll probably come out before the other carriers, or at least second. Just because international models get updates before us, doesn't mean AT&T, T-Mobile, or Verizon will get it before us. Remember, we were the first to get Jelly Bean on the EVO 4G LTE.

This is good news. Can't wait for the official from Sprint. I don't know what it is these days. Maybe I don't have enough time anymore, or I just don't care as much, I just like keeping mine stock. While I get impatient waiting for the updates, this is definitely coming faster than I ever expected it to.

ports are alright but I prefer working w/ factory rom/ota....hopefully we'll see a leak or official update for Sprint soon

i agree, if you want super stable stick with OTA roms.
however, its good to get a taste of whats to come
plus i like working on it just to learn more

I tried it once. It sucked.

Miui 6 didn't get ported because it was based on KitKat this is based on lollipop so maybe we will have it sooner
