Nothing new, they are the exact same version as the 3.57/3.62 base fonts.

No big deal...

Ah, it was too big before you resized.
Here...
There's a boot animation that was default on an old custom GB MIUI rom for the nexus s a while back. It consisted of a black background with layers of white ring segments successively appearing. It looks a bit futuristic and the ring segments rotate and also pulsate.
I have been looking for a while now but to no avail. Any help would be appreciated.

As a follow-up to Android Police's discovery of the updated Roboto fonts found in the leaked Android 4.3 Jelly Bean ROM, I've packaged said fonts into a flashable .zip for your edification.
Please enjoy.

Is there any way to install this font without being rooted?
Can this be flashed on AOSP 4.2.2 ROM?

Would be cool if someone made the light version as main system font as flashable zip

Nope, you've now got them installed. By flashing the .zip you've replaced all files in /system/fonts .

This is true; the changes to the Roboto family of fonts are subtle.

Sure, but Samsung likely has more fonts in system/fonts/ than do AOSP-based roms, so you might see only some fonts change. You can find out by checking the number and names of fonts found in your own system/fonts/ folder and comparing them with those in the .zip .
? ?
If you want to use this for Samsung ROMs, download ifont app then extract the font into ifont/custom folder and apply the font from the custom tab in the app. Works for me, don't need to flash or reboot(if you're rooted)
