Thx mate, I have a question: would this work on S2 which has a lower 480x800 resolution? Or I must mod all the parts in the zip. =D

Cool, ty for the info dude.^^

would this work on cm11? just tried both normal zip and flashable zip and both wouldn't work.
I tried the normal zip and my bootanimation has been replaced by some sort of animation with just the words android in the middle. I tried the flashable zip (using TWRP) and cm's own animation is still showing? any ideas? thanks

I forgot to explain that the flashable zip places the boot animation.zip in data/local. Then again, I don't know if anyone is using these anyway
Sent from my SCH-I500 using xda app-developers app

[BOOTANIMATION] Blacklight: Retribution

This boot animation is based on the Blacklight: Retribution in-game loading screen.
As a frequent player of Blacklight: Retribution, I've always wanted something Blacklight themed on my phone.
It should work fine with any phone that has a display resolution of 720x1280 or 480x800 provided that you download the right ZIP, have a compatible phone and put bootanimation.zip in the right location for the ROM you're using. Check it out and let me know how it works for you!
If you're on an AOSP based rom(CyanogenMod, AOKP, Paranoid Android etc.) you can download the flashable ZIP and flash it in recovery. The flashable ZIP will not work on HTC Sense or TouchWIZ ROMs.
Here's a preview

READ THIS!
Use at your own risk! This animation should work with any hdpi and xhdpi devices
*Instructions
- Download
- Install
- Reboot
If your phone's resolution isn't 480x800 and 800x1920, this animation is almost guaranteed not to work.
Please don't try anyway unless you are prepared to deal with bootloops and system errors.
Also, I'm not sure if xhdpi can fit with any higher device because I'm noob.
** Lower DPI devices are not support.
*Download

- XHDPI - Not test yet
