I would Like to know is there anyone working on 4.4 kitkat AOSP Rom for Lg optimus 4X..? i Found 4.3 AOSP Rom
In time ,it may require quite a work as there are new kernel based features and framework ,even nexus 4 PA 4.4 build is only pre-alpha,so be patient.

Aosp maybe when some dev compiles it for note or when cm10.1 gets released.. Now official samsung no idea we have ICS and some 4.1.2 leaks not even official JB so far
Tapatalking on my n7000
My question is smple i only wanna know if we will have support for the 4.2.x versions because i think it is a little bit smoother than 4.1.2 and comes with lot of settings, functions and better support for app's
R: [Q] Will work 4.2.x ROM's on our galaxy
Devs are working on Cyanomod 10.1 that is based on android 4.2..

What are the (main) differences between the two Roms? Both are CM based band both support miui themes...
But they have two completely different UI and options.
MIUIandroid is based on Android 4.1.2 but Avatar is based on cm10.1 which is Android 4.2.2

One is based on CM 10 surce and the other one on CM 10.1. It's a big difference?
Another question, can I install in both rom any mod compatible with the cm 10.1? (es QuickMemo)
You can't install a 4.2.x mod on a 4.1.x ROM.
Just try MIUI you'll see how much it's different than other ROMs

I was wondering what would happen if I pull the boot.img from fully working with camera PAC 4.3 rom and replace the PA 3.99 ROM boot.img will the ROM work with functioning camera or will I get a bootloop or destroy my device?
If that doesn't work will using PAC ROM 4.3 as base work for a port?

If kernel is designed for same Android - 4.3 - it'll work.
It won't break anything as long as you have unlocked bootloader and you aren't flashing 4.3 kernel on 4.2 ROM.

I was thinking about buying one of these and I primarily want to run aosp or cm based roms. How do these types of roms run on the g2? I can handle a few bugs or quirks, but I need it to be stable for the most part and the phone's basics to work like WiFi, cell, GPS, etc. Tia.

I'm running one now for about a week and its been flawless. Now that the devs have all the source code for the kernels its been game on.

So far all aosp Roms and cm based Roms work really good. But u need to make sure to be on kk baseband and make sure u run a kk baseband aosp Rom in order for it to be flawless. Some aosp Roms like cm still use jb source and the cause reboot issues. All other kk based aosp Roms work great. Good luck.
