What happened? What happened is timmy here fuxored his /system and/or recovery partition. NBD. If you can get to the bootloader, you can fix it. I'd suggest googling "M7SPR RUU" and going from there.

My friend flash his rogers g1 to android 1.0 with 1.22 radio and spl .95 something or the other thinking it would give him access to paid apps. in trying to get back to donut 1.5, he flashed cm 1.4 recovery then flashed update zip via recovery console using cyan wiki info:
http://wiki.cyanogenmod.com/index.p...ogers_Dream_EBI1_to_CyanogenMod#Prerequisites.
Now phone only boots to t-mobile image. no recovery or fastboot. Can somebody please help or is phone bricked?
If no recovery or fastboot... Most Likely it's bricked

Lol sucks for you man, gotta read the instructions!
If it's booting to the tmobile screen it sounds like it might be soft bricked, there's a thread here somewhere which might help.

thanks for the link, my device isnt even s-off and never has been, so to mess up this bad without s-off scares me,
i have the new M8 on the way and should be with me tomorrow so im not too upset just kinda makes me a little hesitant about flashing in the future.
i will keep an eye on here to see if there is any way to fix and the link you provided,
thank you again,
Alright, I have a bit of a problem. I've poked around a bit and haven't found anything helpful that's worked, so if there's something that will help me out please let me know. Here's the lowdown on my situation:
Currently running on stock Android 4.4.3 with SunShine having my device unlocked and S-off'ed.
Whenever I turn on my HTC One M8 (On Verizon Wireless) It just sticks itself on the screen that says 'htc' and 'powered by android.' It doesn't move from that screen. Just stays there. I am able to boot into HBoot and get myself into TWRP.
While in TWRP, I'm able to flash ViperOne because that's what I've done (Note: I flashed it AFTER the initial freezing on the screen occurred). I've done it, but again, whenever I boot normally, I get stuck at the same screen.
Another tidbit that might help is that whenever I try to wipe my cache, TWRP fails with "E:Unable to mount '/cache.'"
Is there anything that I can do to fix my issue? I just want to be able to boot into my OS
Thank you in advance. I'll try to stay awake to try things but I've got work tomorrow.
ALSO: NEW ISSUE: Whenever I do a 'battery-pull,' (volume up + power) it just starts itself again. Anyone know what's up?

Thank you...sorry about that.
Hey All,
I was chatting to some people on the android central forums and they said to come here and reflash my rom. Basically my phone is stuck on a bootloop and when I factory reset it on the hardboot menu, it doesn't fix it and when I click Recovery it reboots and loads a black screen with a grey triangle and an exclamation mark. I doesn't come up with any options to clear cache. It gets to the second loading screen with the HTC animation and glitches out. Would any be able to give me a step to step guide on how to reflash the rom. It's never been rooted and it's on Vodaphone UK.
Any help is much appreciated and Thankyou.

Check this out: https://forum.xda-developers.com/desire-510/htc-desire-510-64-bit-eu--international-version/android-4-4-3-stock-os-debloated-64bit-t3361689
The procedure is written by me. And it works. BUT ONLY USE IT IF YOU HAVE THE 64BIT VERSION OF THE PHONE. (EU=64bit / USA=32bit)
If you need more help just ask.

I have the same problem. Please can you tell me how you fixed it?
Thank you in advance
It seams to happen now and then, depending on internet drop outs or temporarily bad connections. Just contact him again if you can't solve it on your own.
Happened to me too!
